Hey there Federation Outpost 1-11 just wanted to say great background image for your green screen and thank you for this new video. The phaser toy does look good on the sounds that imitates from the toy are original and for the Original series.

I still have the 1st tos phaser that playmates put out in the mid 90s. The only things that disappointed me about it was that the smaller type 1 didn't detach, something that this one appears to share, and that the trigger was hard to push.

Nice!! It is a shame about the writing on the handle, but at least you get to “pick” your sound effect with the toggle.

I remember building one of these from an AMT plastic model kit back in the 70's as a kid. No sound or light effects but pretty cool anyway. Looks like the one you unboxed is pretty nice aside from the handle engravings.

I think the green screen is effect is somehow making your eyes look different, and far more blue.

I have this phaser from the 90s. I wish they would have made the disco version. I bought the new action figures and the enterprise

I would say yes. The ship is great, but all the sounds are either battle type sounds or Shatner speaking. Which are cool, but TOS was mainly to promote exploration not battle. I find that ironic that the toy ppl from today would go the opposite direction.
Also I find it strange that CBS is using the disco enterprise in their media (disco, picard and SNW) but not putting it at the front of this toy push. If my intro to trek was the current stuff, I would not buy tos style toys or collectibles.

They seem to be in loads of place here? I got mine from the HMV website. But also seen it on Zavvi and Forbidden Planet.
