In this week's video I install a Nilight LED Light Bar on my 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R. This video is not specific for the YXZ1000R. You could use this video as an example to install on any UTV really. It's a pretty basic install and could be done on RZR CanAm Talon or anything alike. The light bar is a Nilight 42" LED Curved Light Bar I purchased on Amazon for only $60. I also purchased a wiring harness for ease of installation for an additional $10, which is a great deal. I don't even think you could buy the wire, switch and relay for that cheap individually. Hopefully this video is helpful to fellow UTV owners, hope you enjoy!

FYI: because your camera was set to auto brightness, the viewer can't see an accurate representation of how bright the light bar is compared to the stock headlights. The camera auto adjusts to make the footage have the same brightness overall.

Just wondering how you wired you power block to the battery so that it shuts off with the key
It doesnt shut off with the key. It's always powered on. The shut off is just controlled by the switch to the light
BriGuy503 Ah Ok I’m just trying to wire a multi gauge cluster but I don’t want power running to it when the key is off. I’ll probably put a switch in the hot wire.
@@topoftheworld9189 Ya that's probably a good idea. I haven't noticed any sort of drain or issues, so it's worked for me.

Are you getting a lot of glare off of the hood? I rarely use mine due to the glare on the windshield and hood. I’m sure the white paint doesn’t help.
I just installed it, so I havent even went riding with it yet. Just from driving around my neighborhood with it, I haven't noticed any glare. Maybe aim it up higher? I also dont have a windshield. So maybe that's your issue?
lots of glare for me… some people recommend mounting them below the windshield for that reason

@@BriGuy503 I wouldn't sacrifice a windshield to have a roof mounted light bar if I had to choose between the 2
@@BriGuy503 I guess it depends how often you want to ride in the colder months.. I go out every week or 2 and I stay warm and dry
How ya like that YXZ I’m kinda torn between the YXZ and the Talon!
I love it! The driving experience you get out of the manual transmission is amazing. The Talon is nice and has the sport shift but I think having the extra pedal and shifter adds alot to the experience of driving the machine.
mike zwak I couldn’t agree more with the shifting! Think about it...it’s a 1000cc engine with a clutch in a SXS! It couldn’t be anymore cool!
