Nice video with good information. I own a 2021 just like yours. Just bought a 36" light bar and preparing to install. I am concerned about how much amp load can be put on the key switch. My bus bar does not have a wire run to it from the battery
for continuous power, just wired thru the key switch. Any thoughts?
well i have a 2020 1000 XP and i have the 50 in curve. you could have got the brackets that mount on the roll bar around the windshield
Where the brackets connect to the roof- are they bolted to anything else? Is there a substantial back plate or other support. My concern is the bolt (even with a sizable washer) just cracking the roof and punching through, especially in rough, bouncy terrain. Looks great. This may be my next project.

@@alaskauntamed6476 Nice! I almost bought a 2012 500 crew. The guy wanted 7k for it. It was completely bare bones. Zero accessories. I was considering it, but the condition wasn't up to par for me. Good luck with your purchase!
Any issue on blowing fuses if you wire to the key on terminal?
I think that the reason that you have the wiring going from your battery to the buss bar is that you bought the factory winch. I have a brand new 2021 and all it has is the switch-on wire going to the buss bar.

Have the same Ranger. I purchased a 32” curve. Just wondering if the plastic is rigid enough to hold the light. Also wondering if there is much vibration when traveling?
The light does wiggle a little, but the plastic roof is more than rigid enough to support it!
How does it work with the lights above the cab? Maybe a road trip soon?
