Fingers crossed for 501! Hope she continues to improve, and can go back out into the field. stressful thing for you to come back to from Holiday away! Ben is lovely, did a great job of explaining
Great to see a vet that likes being on camera. And the ketosis tester, is what I as a type1 diabetic used 15 years ago for testing my ketones and blood sugar. Good to the testers are still in use and with all the new old stock that would be in the UK the testers are very inexpensive but the test strips I bet haven't come down in price much as they have a fairly short use by date
Poor girl looks so sad… her ears are all droopy and I can just imagine how icky she must feel! Great video, thanks vet Ben for talking us threw it all!!!❤ Would love an update at the beginning of next video.😊
Richard you take care of all your animals and keep them happy... Its never great having to call in a vet as in some ways it can make you feel defeated in being able to care for your own animals .When the Vets do have to turm up and give a hopeful diagnosis things get better again.. Apart from the vets bill that is 😜😆🤭😮. Stay safe 🏴
This vet has a lovely way with him. Very informative and explains so clearly.
What a fantastic vet . Well done Ben
Good to see her up & eating the cake. Ben's pretty thorough. Good on him.

I have a black dog the wire across the screen while the vet was chatting was driving me crazy 😂
I AM GLAD SHE IS FEELING A LOT BETTER RICHARD
Eh up, "now then Mr Farnon",😅. That pump is very handy the way it is attached to the nose.
Well done my dear. You are such a good and caring Farmer. Ben was amazing. xx
In sheep they would get pregnancy toxemia. They called it twin lamb disease. With the associated pear drops smell on their breath.
Another great video has always Richard harry and jack and Sam 👍
Sounds good if shes got her appetite back.
Hope she’s ok xx
I'm pretty much the same - If I can't eat my cake... i need my udders looked at.
Great to see a vet that likes being on camera.

Great insight Richard 👍🏻 and can see how you care so much for your heard glad all seems okay 🙏🏻
Good morning Richard. Its nice to see her eating cake at the end.have a good weekend. Cheers.
Remembering James Herriot, he said the smell of pear drops was acetonemia. I’ve just looked that up and it’s the alternative name for ketosis!
Poor girl looks so sad… her ears are all droopy and I can just imagine how icky she must feel! Great video, thanks vet Ben for talking us threw it all!!!❤

Hi Richard, I hope she is better soon.
Enjoyed the video ✔️
👍
Our vet drives a Tesla…. He’s as much a car lover as an animal lover. Hope she’s ok, get her on green grass, if she’s eating her cake she’ll be fine.
Nice

Craic On 👍
How about setting up link to make donation - it would help towards vet fees.
Always wondered if the cow gets turned on when the vet puts his hand up the you know what.
