This is actually the case for Nintendo users, as a Nintendo user myself you can click the left arrow button and the quests will appear, while if you click the left button it will click the candles/currency

I am upset that they removed the nest oob. I believe good developers not only consider expected and potential uses for a feature but also any unexpected uses that come up and the reasons players make use of them. The balcony oob being used was a way for us players to gain access to more space, more possibilities for item placement, and ways to experiment with terrain. We need at least an official version of this and/or the out of bounds areas to remain available. It would be inconsiderate for TGC to take these out unless there was a good reason. The only good reason i can think of is if this bug was the cause of all the other nest specfic bugs or was part of a bug group that was caused by one specfic thing. Because if this is the case then it would mean taking that one bug that caused everything else, means taking out the balcony intentionally or not. If it was the cause of other nest specific problems (aka balcony bug-->other bugs) then take away the cause deal with symptoms (aka resulting nest specfic bugs). If it's a symptom of another bug, (aka other nesting bug--> other nesting bugs including balcony bug) take away that bug you take away the symptoms, which leads to balcony bug going away. But of course devs aren't always clear with their reasoning so wouldnt be suprised if they dont give us their side or hear us out.

What kind of dev sees that their players are doing something creative and instead of further enabling them to enjoy it they it away just because it wasn't how they originally planned for it to be used??? It feels like a mean teacher taking away your crayons because you were doing your own drawings instead of coloring inside the lines.
@juneadams7714 I understand the devs have an idea and vision for the nest, but this is a season about moving in. Even in the real world, where we have limited options, we still get some involvement beyond just items regarding our homes. We get to choose the windows, the openness of our space, in some cases the wall colour is an option as well. Tgc taking away the balcony bug without giving a reason as to why is like the seller you bought the house from saying "sorry you can't have an upstairs patio" even though it's clearly possible and safe to do so.
I can only think of one reason. If this bug was causing or caused by at least one of the other nest specific bugs. Then it would make sense because then the devs didn't have much choice. Taking away the casual bug means taking away the nest balcony, whether taking it away intentionally or not.

I hope they do away with memories on the main path too, bc people place them right in the way of krill and burning plants so when im trying to do something important i accidentally tap someone’s memory and it never ends well. A bug that allowed us to make balconies in our own personal space, by using outside oob space accessed via chibi fall or stools to get out of bounds, not bugs that launched people out for no reason. I'm not mad but I'd like to ask how the balcony bug/apartment oob negatively affected you. If I understand your side I could potentially see another reason why the devs might have taken this out and get a little more clarity.

Is it at the top of nesting guides tree now? Is it just gone, of course the devs don't tell us in these patch notes but it is something we would like to know 6:04 I am upset about this and left a seperate comment about my feelings on this, but do you know why the devs removed this outside of it being a bug? Cause since you're part of creator troupe I'd imagine you would get a little bit of info the devs don't say typically. 20:50 says "dark rainbow mask" for the bubble machine. 22:08 confuses event currency with candles. The cape is 177 CANDLES not event tickets (so start saving up af6er days of nature or even during the event. You have over 300 candles to save up)
... why not leave the apartment oob as is?!?! I spent a while making a fun way to get in and out of the oob area even without the chibi mask!!! I can even get in a second oob area just below the apartment!!! This sucks!!! And my window balconies!!! I loved those!!!
Only reasons I can think of are A. Apartment oob (balcony bug) caused other bugs and removing that dealt with everything else B. Balcony bug was a symptom of another bug (so other bug--> other bugs & balcony bug) and taking out the cause led to the balcony bug going away. Someone in the replies to another comment said they were glad the oob was removed so I asked their view on it to see if they could help me see any other negatives to it.

OOB areas have always been a thing and they always should be fixing. This makes no sense. They purposely want us to fall through the ground. That’s why they have so many things hidden in the game and the only way to find them is to fall through the ground.

Both from anniversary Tiara- this year's anniversary hat it is IGC ("free") Cape- onr of this year's anniversary IAPs. It allows us to see aviary village's sky fest decorations and features after sky fest.
Taking away the ability to decorate outside of the nest.......lame....you can place decorations outside at your regular home so why not our sky home???? I honestly thought it was an intentional easter egg but ig not. I am still hopeful they will expand the nest tho, its way tooo small.
The nest is soooo tiny!!! I'm honestly surprised by how small it is. They want us to get all this insanely overpriced furniture but we have nowhere to put it. Make it make sense. Sure there's shared spaces, but this whole season and addition of furniture was supposed to be for the nest. I didn't even think about putting furniture outside, it's so cute!! But now it's going to be gone..... TT ^ TT. I agree with other commentators that it should become a permanent feature.

(E.g. others being launched out of apartment--> other bugs and balcony oob) Either way the devs don't really have a choice in one of these scenarios because taking the cause away leads to balcony oob being gone. There was someone who seemed happy about taking away the bug so I asked them how balcony bug negatively affected them. No answer yet hoping to get one soon.

Because if the event last 14 days, and you get 5 event currencies per day, at the end you'll only have 70 event currencies (yes, hello to maths problems), therefore how can we get enough? i'm pretty sure it's more than 5 a day. from what i saw on the sky wiki, during the event last year the least amount of event currencies you could get a day was 8 and on some days you could get up to 14. however, i hadn't started playing by then so you may want to ask someone who's a veteran to confirm. edit: I've just gotten to the part of the video where they confirm there will infact be a total of 5 event currencies daily (which makes no sense)

This is what i fear when they introduced event currencies, the more items added each year in an event, more tickets you have to collect each day... i thought they would at least make it cheaper because newer items would be added but it seems like its a no... Imagine this, a new player just joined a few days after days of color and really wants EVERYTHING, so they collect every event currency every day and does eden, but then its on the last day and they ALMOST have all the tickets necessary for one item they wanted, they almost have the amounts but they cant buy it, and all their ascended candles are gone because they spent it on other things. You see the problem? More items means more tickets to spend, so i hooe they either lower the ticket prices or add even more tickets to collect

This is what i fear when they introduced event currencies, the more items added each year in an event, more tickets you have to collect each day... i thought they would at least make it cheaper because newer items would be added but it seems like its a no...
Imagine this, a new player just joined a few days after days of color and really wants EVERYTHING, so they collect every event currency every day and does eden, but then its on the last day and they ALMOST have all the tickets necessary for one item they wanted, they almost have the amounts but they cant buy it, and all their ascended candles are gone because they spent it on other things. You see the problem? More items means more tickets to spend, so i hooe they either lower the ticket prices or add even more tickets to collect

But save the children operates in my country, where children are statistically incredibly vulnerable to disease, abuse, poverty and lack of education.
