12:35 One of my favorite aspects of Sky is all the little things you can do that are utterly useless but make the game so much livelier. Like picking up crabs. I have yet to find a use to it, but man is it fun to walk around carrying a huge crab around like it's nothing lol
Edit: 13:25 Probably a bug. Crabs don't usually vanish like that :/
Hint: clicking on shared memories (they look like diamonds) also you missed a spirit in the first area of golden wasteland where you saw that scared spirit its in the far left most have difficulty finding it so no suprise

4:45 You can edit those names you know! They're random because players don't have usernames (although they can introduce themselves as a certain name while chatting and then others can rename them, if they like). So if you're worried about pronouncing names, you could nickname players names or words instead - I have skykids in my friend constellations called stuff like "Snowy Tune" or "Running Man" or "Potions Master" lol (as well a moth that used to be called 'Mothy' but that I eventually changed to 'Mothwas' because they grew out of being a moth lol)
Hmm, now that I think about it, I should call a friend 'Cheese'. I haven't done that one yet
4:23 you can find the bowing spirit at the end of the race in valley of triumph, he's somewhere in the stands.
I think every new sky player gets the krill treatment. It's such a peaceful and relaxing game but once you reach the golden wasteland you get traumatized by krill. It took me a while to stop screaming and panicking every time I saw them.
Yup I agree. I thought Sky was a peaceful and chill game until I stepped into the Golden wastelands. What a turn of events haha

Firstly, I'd like to say that thumbnail looks amazing. It's the perfect embodiment of what the GW is to lots of new players.
Also, yes, are others are saying you took an alternative route to go through the wasteland (which is not wrong!). You took a little detour after passing the area where the first krill is.
And, no, you did not encountered the spirit in this video...I'm just letting you know since you were wondering.
I loved the fact this is a 40-min video, it was very fun to go through seeing you explore it. The little interactions with the lobby, the fighting with the crabs, the shipwreck frustration...sorry it was so bad for you :<
And as a tip, did you see that yellow thing on your top center of your screen? That's your wing level a.k.a flight power, when it has a red dot on it it means you can level up and gain one wing. Please tap it whenever you get one because it will help you get places more easily

I don't know how I ended up on that alternative route, but I guess it's for the best haha. Although, going through the krills would've been more fun.

4:30 While a lot of the cosmetics you can get in-game for candles (as opposed to buying them for money), that mask (the anubis mask with the halo) was the ultimate gift of a previous season, which means that not only was it not possible to get it for free, but it is also now IMPOSSIBLE to get. Items that don't return are one of the only things I don't really like about Sky, because I like to collect cosmetics :'( (I mean, I'm not gonna complain, I have that mask, but still) Anyway, I'm saying this just in case you had your sights on it and wanted to get it but didn't know how. You can't :/ So don't stress yourself out trying ok? 🥺
21:50 Maybe they wanted you to recharge them? If you stand near another player, it recharges their wing, but if you deeep call (like you did to flip over the crabs) it recharges them a lot faster
as someone who asks for charge from other players I can confirm that was what they were doing
a little tip: those candles you are getting and if you save them you can buy cosmetics for your sky kid since the christmass event is getting closer

You might encounter people that can teleport all around the realm which you need to be careful with, they may help you collect candles or collect winged lights and spirits perhaps but sometimes they might troll you.
Most of the hackers ive encountered so far had been very nice to me.

@@kkplayssky if you are holding hands with them or they gave you a piggyback ride they can bring you with them, they can teleport to every winged lights, spirits, and every candles in the area that theyre in, one even told me that they have infinite wing energy on so they won't need to worry about losing the ability to fly.
@@kkplayssky you can go do what theyre doing but you risk your account from getting banned.

Yeah I'm a bit wary about the krills. When I first went to the Golden Wastelands I kinda showed off a little bit and I got krilled haha. So ever since then, I've been cautious around them.

19:00 Maybe you had your screen luminosity too low? It can be hard to see in the dark areas when it's too low, but if you turn it up it might help, if that's the issue here 🤔
As another person said, the route you took wasn't the regular route lol. So you missed an entire area that is usually one of the main ones. The one with the boat though (I think it's called the wreckage or something? Or just 'the boat', not sure) is really nice too (and has less krills). I got really invested in whether you'd find a way out of there lol 🫂
Edit: 38:55 Oh dw. The krills arrived late, but if you take too long in that area and another player activates the door opening, the krills show up for you as well. It's one of the reasons I tend to rush that area tbh lol 😅But the area you remember was the area you missed I think, with all the krills patrolling everywhere
Edit2: 39:25 Heheh messing with the krills is the best lol. There was an event some months ago during which players could turn into butterflies in an area where there was a krill not too far, so players would go in huge groups tease the krill lol. A couple of butterflied players would go provoke the krill while there was a crowd of onlookers 😂
