Which instrument number are you? I'm GTA San Andreas... 94 🌴👀
106 and 102
I'm 75
number 68 on top
15 and 21
17 and 19
This hands down the most impressive song I've ever heard played. Soo many instruments!
Can we all appreciate the time and effort this man has put into learning 111 instruments through out his live? I mean seriously do u know how hard that is!? Give this man an award
it's been 21 long years 🥲🙏❤
Learn trumpet know all brass flute know all flutes and guitar the you know all and the rest are easy and complex specific to learn
I think stuff like vibraslap and other aux percussion shouldn’t count
I mean, if you know how to play guitar, it shouldn't count as knowing the god-knows-how-many models there are in the world
Same goes for every other instrument type
It's still impressive, but let's not be fooled by numbers
It helps if you learn the playing discipline of each of the broader groups of instruments. For example, if you can figure out how to play a clarinet, learning how to play a saxophone will take less work, since both have a similar type of mouthpiece, and thus require similar technique to get those vibrations sounding their best. 😉 Oboes and bassoons likewise have similar mouthpieces, making learning one a headstart for learning the other, rather than both needing to be learned entirely from scratch. Likewise for learning how to play a trumpet before learning a French horn, or learning how to play a ukelele before learning how to play a mandolin, etc. Even factoring in the differences of fingering setup and harmonics the instruments may have, learning some instruments can still make the process easier for learning others, precisely because there is a match between some. For example, if you can play an oboe, you can therefore play an English horn, since their fingerings are the same for written notes. Likewise for a flute and a piccolo, or for all models of clarinet, or saxophone, with each other. Indeed, it is expected for percussionists in orchestras to know how best to play almost every type of percussion instrument, and for wind players to be able to switch to different instruments with the same fingering setup, should the need arise.
I adore this way of showing off your collection. It makes it way more fun and engaging than a simple walkthrough of a room. Love this stuff so much!!
This was so fun to listen to that i can't even imagine how much fun it was to play, really puts into perspective how much work you do when you compare this to last week's video
Glad it was fun to listen to! An excel spreadsheet was my only saving grace this year 😂
Not recently so it's nice to hear just the instruments. Although the more I've been listening to this I've realized that this video should be called 111 instruments in under 2 minutes lol. Keep up the good work Luke.
well the music ends at 1:51 and there's 60 seconds in a minute so it is 111 seconds only counting the parts where you can hear something
that combination at 00:31 was so pleasant to hear, we need a full version of it!
It’s sounds like music from School House Rock.
@@GlitchSpy yeah! call me crazy but im genuinely thinking to buy a bass now just so I can remake that piece from 00:31 and PERHAPS continue it, who knows!
@@ChimparoncitoTFYeah, that’s a genius idea! 🧠
That would be crazy. I wonder if he made a video before doing just that.
1:17 wonderful hearing the you know what again
thank you Luke for inspiring me to make my own instrument collection! i own a Bb trumpet, C trombone, Eb bari sax and Bb clarinet currently buying a C flute and a pearl snare. you're the goat!
That's awesome keep it up!
I have been getting into it recently
Just so cool! Thank you for posting this version! Gosh - so much work goes into all of this - truly a labor of love!!! And we love you for it!!!! ❤
Thanks Jerry! It was an Excel spreadsheet workout this year for sure 🤣
The production of this shit is beyond amazing.!!

I love how the beginning goes
Nice sounding flute
BWAH
Neat accordion 🪗
I’m happy to see a bassoon
Love it!!!
Love your post-processing! What's your process for it? It's super honest, just enhancing the captured sound.
BTW loved the lick interjections XD
Thanks!! Honestly it's mostly just a hint of compression, a little reverb, and some light EQing. I thought it would be nice to keep them more natural sounding in here 😊
yessss glad you liked the lil' music Licks!
@@InstrumentManiac That's really encouraging! You play them all really well! As a clarinetist, I don't often find myself telling multi-instrumentalists that, but you nailed it! I wouldn't be able to tell any of these aren't your primary instruments!
111 is my favorite
real
I find the one section of keyboard so funny! Also loved the oboe followed by alto sax, good little duo. Amazing job, Luke ❤
Just amazingness
0:56 60 I love so much and then I laugh so hard at 64 because the facial expression😂😂❤
0:47 He did it again I just noticed, the moment when you go to the drive through and they do the voice prank😂
That Soprano Recorder to Contrabass Clarinet🤣
Wow, that was truly fantastic
the lick on violin and viola was a nice touch
The beat auto filled in my head
We honestly need a longer version of this also the fact this man learnt 111 instruments for this is crazy. Usually you get people only playing 1-3 instruments but this? This is crazy
i love how happy you look when playing
Of course you uploaded an Acoustic version (of sorts) in between when i listened to the first one and noticed this one 😂 still awesome!
Now we need the entire hour+ video of you going around grabbing each instrument, going back to place, counting down and then starting to play them separately without any cuts or edits.. then the trilogy will be complete
Edit: oh yeah, 50 likes away from 500, y'know you gotta consider this to be a possibility huh
Edit 2: OOP THERE WE GO, OVER 500 (mom I'm famous wth)
EDIT 3?? 1K?? HOW?????????
Y'all are looking for that 40-hour directors cut 👀

And the background music which would make it a quadrilogy
as someone who plays bassoon, my relief when it was finally played at the end 😌
One of my dreams is to find my favorite instrument, and to make that possible I feel like I would love to learn many different instruments. You have just proven that that dream is possible!
This is kind of...amazing. Thank you

Outstanding work as always! Every one of your performances exhibit such great attention to detail and a true appreciation and understanding of each instruments unique tonal qualities. I would love to hear what you could do on Daxophone!
Thank you!
Beautiful music instruments
So glad to see that the conch shell is getting recognition, they are hard to get, I had to swim down to the marina trench, arm wrestle an octopus, fist fight a blue whale, punch a blobfish, fist fight the octopus I arm wrestled earlier, and then clean the remains of a broken down submarine that existed before the titanic just to lure out a conch, which I had to challenge to a boxing match and won despite the ocean being against me. Conch shells are hard to obtain, so Im just glad that they are getting respect
Lmao
My favorite instruments are the guitar classic
Aaaah making a version without the backing track is such a cool idea, it sounds good even without it!
Imagine a remix of this video I could spend all day listening to hahaha, that's amazing, congratulations for you job
No way he can play all of those instruments, incredible
Awesome 111!!!
Wow Well done Luke ❤❤❤❤❤
That was awesome! You're gifted!! I'd really love to see you cover "Hello Zepp" by Charlie Clouser ;)
Ive got 24 and counting. I look forward to having a collection as big as yours!😊
great job!!
Shared this video with my students as we were studying instruments of the Orchestra. Love it! When did you start learning to play all these instruments? Love to give my students hands-on experiences playing instruments!😍
It's strange how such a repetitive melody, only with tone variation can turn into a interesting one, Amazing work you did there.
I love the light, airy sound of the bass recorder.
there’s so many fun percussion instruments, ❤ it
Wow, that's so cool!
This makes me feel a little better. I just moved and Ilmy mom and I packed up 25 instruments (some are doubled up). This looks like such a good spread though! Love it! It must be so much fun!
This is very incredible
hey thanks man for doing this much hard work for all of us 😭🙇🏻♀
Шикарна колекція 😮😊
AMAZING
Very impressive Very good I love it
PLS MAKE A SHEET MUSIC I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
Хотел бы я уметь играть хотя б на половине инструментов. Парень, ты просто красавчик!👍🏻
this guy is truly outstanding…
That man so clever to play 111 instruments ❤❤ I love your videos! ❤😊
When you published the lick videos I only had 13 instruments.
Now I have 35 and my current favorites are the Conga, Tablas, and Cajón. My birthday was on the month before Christmas so it really went up AND IS STILL DOING SO.
man i love your videos, keep up the good work!
Please do a longer video with each one. It's a joy to listen you play them all.
so tru
@@YK-mb1vh You can check his other covers he made with those instruments
Muito bom!!!!!
You got my favorites! Jaw harp, trombone, French horn. Just missed bagpipes!
I do have one but it's too difficult...
Stand proud, you've learnt a considerable amount of instruments.
I love how your using the contrabass clarinet in the coolest ways possible (that one the lick video haunts me)
Как же приятно смотреть за игрой столь прекраснейшего музыканта !!!
In love with this
love it
My dream is learn to play any instrument possible, like you
Adoro música! Esse é o melhor vídeo que assisti aqui no TH-cam!! Pena que é curto.
I was waiting and watching the whole time looking for a bassoon (I play clarinet and bassoon), and was not disappointed.
The bassoon at the end was perfect
I don’t know why but I have literally watched this vid like 22 times it is so fun (I play alto sax but may be switching to bari and I am always excited to saxes in the vids)
was going to catch you on the bassoon.... but then right at the end!
45 piccolo trumpet 🎺 I love trumpets In particular brass instruments so piccolo trumpet 45
Edit: the favorite one in this song is the flexaphone 94 is that how you spell? And probably 60 pedal harp the kazoo (forgot number) and bass 25
I play the violin, bass clarinet, trombone and I'm only 11 and a huge fan of your channel!
I play #68, euphonium! This is awesome, dude!
I just stumbled across your channel and wow that is impressive, especially that you play all of them
This video definitely goes straight to the point.
I heart it especially the electric
I love It. It feels kinda quiet, but that can bee a good thing.
