Yes I found if I write on one then the colours put in pots I knew all the ones of that colour represent the one written on, plus it saves writing on lots of labels and cleaning it off at the end of the season
After this first stage what is your watering regime? I think you have to keep the outer ring always topped up with water so that it constantly sweeps through the holes.
No I don't keep them topped up because they empty quite fast so I just mix the feed with water and fill it half way, if u full them to the top most will run out the bottom wasting feed so half full and a good helping in the centre too
