    HydrO2 is so versatile, i’ve never felt like i needed a dedicated glass protectant, but I might try this out

      Thats how we have felt in the past, But honesty the ClariPh2obic is performing really well and is a nice boost when just some glass cleaning is needed!

    Perfect for people who haven't or don't want to apply a glass coating. I'm using Glàco Ultra, cleaning it with Bilt Hamber super wetting Trace-Less glass cleaner (Corey- you should try a bottle), a fantastic combination. Although, I am interested in Carpro Gforce

    Just finally used mine and it was a pain to buff off the haziness. I had to leave it like 5 or 6 min to haze over like I do reload and then do a final buff. Just my experience. Seems like this is clarify with reload 2.0 in it. All in all I like it!!

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is very interesting to me! Did you have anything else already on the glass other than a coating? It should not have any reaction with a coating but if you have a wax or traditional sealant or old school glass product then that may react of course. I'm glad you adapted to whatever caused this issue and made it work! Stoked to hear it didnt ruin your experience and also grateful for the feedback and added experiences.
      Warmest Regards,
      Corey

      Hey Corey! Now that you mentioned it yes two days before I used Hydr02 foam on the entire truck. I usually don’t use this product because I use UK 3.0 with SIC topper and coat the glass with fly by 30 but I haven’t had a chance to coat this new vehicle yet so I used a sample size of Hydr02 foam to get me by.

    How long does the phobic properties last on avg?

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are still seeing results at 2 months after application and still holding strong 👍🏻

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As with all things it depends on the abuse or lack thereof that the car takes. Wipers are going to be a big one as will the highway miles and if it sits outside 24/7 or sits in garages, etc, etc, etc. 1 ~ 3 months would cover the worst conditions ~ average daily drivers conditions. If it is a true garage queen then probably 1-2 years.

    Great video, I just received my sample bottle of this. I have a crosstrek and the windshield is already coated with a different product. Do you think the sample will be enough for the rest of the car’s windows?

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Speaking from experience since James has a crosstrek here at the office, as long as the glass is not overly dirty where you would need more product for cleaning you can cover the whole car with one sample bottle. You will just have to be aware of how much you are using of course. Josh has also done a full Toyota corrolla with a sample bottle, as well as his Mercedes e320 with a sample bottle too!

    Do you need to reapply after a routine car wash using products like Reset? Or do you only need to reapply if you are doing a deeper clean/decontaminate?

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  ปีที่แล้ว

      Only a deeper clean! Reset wont strip off Clarify PH2OBIC.

    Let it cure for 2 hours. You will be amazed. Its a shame they don't specify this on the bottle.

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am curious what do you mean let it cure 2 hours --> Let it cure from what? I apply it on a wet vehicle and sometimes it even rains immediately after and it performs EXCEPTIONALLY with zero cure time. Thanks in advance

      Laat het 2 uur uitharden voordat je het nat maakt en de hydrofobe eigenschappen zullen vele malen beter zijn dan wanneer je het aanbrengt en onmiddellijk nat maakt. 👍

    After watching this vid I bought a bottle of Clarify PHobic. My windscreen ( Tesla j just like this video has been previously stripped clean with Car Pro Ceriglass, it was squeaky clean. I applied CPhobic on the windscreen and wipers. In fact, all over the glass surfaces of a Tesla, which is a lot.
    Today it was pouring with rains and wind. I was pleased to have a depressing day as a today but hey why not test drive Clarify PHobic!
    Guess what, it was very disappointing! The wiper judders returned as have the hazing effect after the wipers cleared the rain.
    Clarify PHobic is not for a my Tesla windscreen. I guess I have to strip off the coating left on my windscreen asap. Clarify PHobic is okay for the rest of the car glass body, it beads well.

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thanks for the feedback Jacob! I wonder if the issue you have is because you used ceriglass. That is what we are recommending NOT to do unless you are trying to remove scratches. To prep your glass you want to use Ultracut. We should have the same wipers since this is a Tesla as well... Only difference is I didnt use ceriglass to prep. Again, ceriglass is built with cerium oxide - a mineral harder than glass for cutting into the glass to remove scratches. If you use it on brand new or unscratched glass then you are cutting into the glass for no reason and can change the surface tension os the glass which will have an affect on any products you apply after.

      Thanks Corey for your reply. I applied Ceriglass by hand. Probably even more damage if I have using a power tool polisher.
      I’ll have to remove the ClarifyPhobic coating on my windscreen.
      Is it UltraCut or ClearCut? You mentioned using Clearcut in previous videos for prepping windscreen before using Flyby Forte or are they the same?

    i still get oil streaks after trying everything ill have to try the 2 hour cure before i buff it
    overall i like the product a lot works well

    • @SkyCarCare

      Did you see the TH-cam Short we did on this? Check it out! Basically just use this product to seal the glass after you wash it but while the glass is still wet. Makes it impossible to get oily streaks imo... Or just spritz some water on the glass if its already dry and then use this. Check out the short and hope this helps!

    Windshield rain performance is not very good. Not as good as Rain X.

      Thanks for sharing your opinion! In my experience it has been better than RainX and has far outlasted it.
