i miss torch-style/operatic alison,immensely. there's no one else with her outright voice,range or in the way she utilises her vocal talents,in pop music. and it makes me sad she kind of abandoned it. but she looks amazing here. she looks like the regurgitated,elegantly quirky outcome of a 40's film star who travels to another galaxy.
I just don't get it. How (Alison) Goldfrapp hasn't been as well received here the the USA as they have been elsewhere in the world(?) I remember hearing Goldfrapp for the 1st time, when "Fly Me Away" played in a Target commercial around 2005. Have been mesmerized ever since. Her music shows up as the most played on both my ipod & Napster. I guess I'm a fan. ; )

Alison is totally FIERCE!!! Honest to god there is no one out there like her and no one comes close though they try to copy her style!
