I’m 33 weeks today. I just had the FFN test done because I was having pre term contractions regularly. Thank God it came back negative. So I should be ok for at least 2 more weeks. I know these are older videos but I love following along with you. This is my second pregnancy as well. I have also had issues with low blood pressure and some extra heartbeats. I love your videos!
I just delivered yesterday at 31 weeks pregnant. My husband jokes that our little boy will know your voice Natalie since I watch your weekly mommy vlogs. Our son is a champ and covered in prayer by our church and family. I pray your baby girl makes it to full term ❤
I am 33 weeks pregnant about 3 years after you posted all these and I have been watching along with you week by week! I started having some contractions and it’s so nice to see that it is something that can be totally normal and that’s so comforting! Thank you for these updates, I’ve been watching them every week since I found out I was pregnant. It’s so refreshing to hear someone share their faith through videos like this and I hope all is going well for you!
Sending prayers. I'm actually really happy that you addressed how uncomfortable these contractions are. You tend to be very, very positive during these updates and it is almost more comforting to see you as a real woman dealing with pregnancy.
When I was 31 weeks my doctor said my baby was breech, I told the doctor that don't the babies turn head down around 34 weeks or so and she said 75% turn head down at 30 weeks or so. So I did something that turned the baby head down in one day, and it was simple. So all you have to do is get yourself a light, either flash light or your phone's light and just place the light where you want the babies head to go and move it around a little in that area and the baby will eventually go towards the light, meaning he or she will flip, if you know where the head is, you can also put the light by the head and bring the light down to your pelvis area slowly and the baby will follow it down, do this when you baby is awake and kicking around, it works best. Good luck!
I was hospitalized at 24 weeks in my twin pregnancy for contractions. I had all the drugs and nothing stopped them. After about 5 days they said that the contractions were not producing any changes in my body and that some women just do this and they let me go home. I continued to contract until I was induced at 36 weeks!
I‘m a Young mum pregnant with my third baby... same experience with my second and now with the third... I thought nobody is in my same situation, but now that I discovered you I fell much better and much understandable... thank you so much for sharing this experience with us... as for me, this helped me a lot!
praying for you and baby girl..I was just over 31 wks pregnant with my son when I started leaking amniotic fluid with strong contractions..ended up being in the hospital for 5 days to which they stopped labor..he was born 3 days late..hopefully baby girl will continue to stay put until your due date..God bless!
Hi Natalie! I've been watching you for a while now and I just wanted to say how crazy it is. I have two and a half year old identical twin boys and I'm 31 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. Love your videos and I hope baby girl hangs out for a little longer.
It's crazy the difference in your belly from last week to this week! I love watching these updates so much, thank you for sharing with us! And of course, so happy to hear the pre-term labor was just a false alarm, and baby girl & mama are doing fine! I'm definitely going to check the Mama Natural channel out..I haven't had any babies yet but am super intrigued by doing it naturally when that day comes. Thanks for letting us know about her channel!
I totally understand the contraction issue! From 16 weeks on I have had contractions about 15-20 times an hour and it goes until I have the baby. I am pregnant with my fifth this time and same thing this time around. :) I love your posts, thank you for sharing!
Your sweet belly has dropped! Sending prayers that baby stays in. I had my daughter at 35 weeks (after they moved her ahead a week) and she was a healthy 6lb2oz lady so try not to worry if things do progress :)
I've written some articles for Mama Natural, but my situation is kind of a case of, "I wish I knew then what I know now!" After having an emergency c-section with my 1st, I chose (chose! I was so uneducated!) a repeat cesarean with my second after going through (what I NOW KNOW) was prodromal labor at 36 WEEKS! She ended up having 10 days in the NICU because of her early birth. I wish I had known then that prodromal labor is normal and it did not mean that active labor was imminent, instead of allowing another surgery. Things went a lot differently with my third child because, by then, I had done my research...but I still have to try to swallow my regrets about the others. There was so much I didn't know. It's so nice to see how educated you are about your choices and how you stand up for what you think is best - I love watching your process unfold.
Wow... loved the comparison shot of this week and last week. There's a huge difference. I can't wait to hear her name and see her! My baby girl just turned 2 months today!
You are seriously the cutest mom ever!! I just went through and was watching your pregnancy updates and the way you love and care for your boys and the way you loved your baby when it was just a little poppy seed is amazing and inspiring! I can't wait for the new addition and to see how you love and care for it!
Im 33 weeks and 6 days with baby number 3 and its a boy ...i hate having heartburn it seems to get bad and im always throwing up 2 never have i ever felt this with my other 2 i cant waite for this to be over
Natalie I am a student midwife in Canada and I think you need to become either a doula or maybe even a midwife when/if you are thinking of working. You are very educated and explain things very well. Just food for thought :) It would be a process... it's a 4 year degree here but it's such a rewarding job! It really is. I was a doula before midwifery, and it's also a wonderful job. Just a completely different role but both are great.
You're looking awesome, Natalie! I'm praying that you have a natural childbirth. Hopefully, you will have a successful VBAC. Your family is a blessing from God. There's so much love there!
Hey Natalie! I actually began having contractions around 25 weeks and was put on bedrest in January 2016. They also did the FFN test (which I think you mentioned the opted not to do due to a possible false positive) and mine came back POSITIVE which is pretty rare. I visited triage twice but they kept me on bedrest until I delivered. I did deliver early (32 weeks) with a 3 pound baby girl who was strong and overall very healthy. She stayed in the NICU as a feeder and grower for a little over 3 weeks. Girls are much stronger than boys for some reason!!! I bet it is so hard to stay off your feet with 2 little ones running around, but you can do it and make it through the next 6-7 weeks! Sending you lots of positive thoughts and prayers!
Bless your heart hun I'm still praying that things go well for you :) I'm now 34 weeks with my pregnancy with twin girls and I haven't had any sign of labor at all. Not even braxton hicks. I have been booked in to be induced two weeks from today (24th) and I'm so scared/excited all at the same time. I love watching your videos and seeing your family grow. I've just started editing my videos too but I'm not very good at it giggle, good luck with the next 6 weeks :)
I recently went through almost the same thing!! Except I'm 31 weeks 4 days! This whole week I've been experiencing irregular contractions, back pain and just overall cramps so I went into Labor & Delivery to get checked out, I'm dilated to a solid 1. I've yet to have my follow up appointment which is with my OB in a few days. It was a little scary but hopefully our babies stay put until their due dates!
I am in awe of your strength, your kindness and patience - you are so strong! I admire this so much, and hope that one day, I will be lucky enough to benefit from the things I learn from you. I wish you only the best, hope you stay strong and happy! Much love from Germany!
+Shelley T Yes! That was awful. It started in week 35 last time. But it's highly unlikely I'll contract it a second time especially since I'm having a girl! Thank goodness!
I am so excited for you Natalie! This baby is going to be such a blessing to your wonderful family and I'm sure the boys will absolutely fall in love with her. That being said... baby don't come out yet!!! Praying for the best for you guys. Hang in there. Love from Minnesota!
Love watching your pregnancy update videos, I've been watching them since you found out you were expecting. I'm at 10weeks pregnant and it's been great so far..it's awesome to see what other women experience. Hoping the best for you and your baby, God bless you and your family!!😊
haven't been watching recently, need to catch up! you're so close to meeting your baby girl! I had my baby girl on March 3rd, 6 days over due and I've never been so in love. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with me, it's honestly helped me so much!
Natalie, thank you so much for these sweet vlogs. I just love watching you progress! Been TTC for awhile now, and really hopeful for this month... but it's in God's hands! Watching you is always such a nice dose of positivity when I need it, so thank you. :)
I'm from germany (sry for any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning) and i love watching your videos. you are such a natural and beautiful woman and i'm so excited for you to have a baby girl :) :) I'm watching your pregnancy updates every week and i can't wait to finally see your little princess :) I wish you and your family just the best
Praying for you and baby girl! I almost ended up in the hospital last night myself with very painful and consistent contractions after I had a big scare. I am just about 33 weeks pregnant now. A couple days shy of it actually. Thankfully I was able to get it under control by myself but I thought about you and your situation when they started. I hope you start to feel better soon and that everything works out for you and baby as we all hope it will! :-). G-d bless! :-)
I will be praying for you. And I wish you the best of luck. Your vlogs, and updates, make me smile. It's lovely to see a nice Christian family like yours.
I'm 29 weeks now and I've been having weird bouts of contractions and they're *incredibly* painful. From everything I've read, Braxton Hicks aren't really supposed to be painful, but I don't know, and these *definitely* are. It'll start kind of mild to moderate pain, and then all of a sudden it gets really intense and it really freaks me out. I don't know if I *need* to quit my job or anything, because activity does seem to increase the chances of it happening (it's only happened when I was doing nothing like, once, usually it's after standing/walking/working/etc. as far as I can tell at least) and I don't know if I should do anything about it and if so - when. I definitely don't want to get any medicine that's going to stall labor later on either. The heart thing is also something that's been happening to be for a while now, since maybe 15-18 weeks or so? Any time I do pretty minor activity, my heart rate goes up to 120-130 or so. Don't know if that's normal or not though.
Yes Natalie, i had prodromol labor with our fourth baby. Ive always had a lot of contractions in the third trimester w pregnancies. This was the first that one that was actually duagnised as such, well anyway for me it wasnt early labor. Started the more regular episodes of contractions about 36 or 37 weeks continued til she was born. Incidentally she was an April baby too
I'm glad things are going well enough so far. I also hope my twins will get as close as possible to their target date. They'll be evicted on April 12th at the latest, which would be exactly 38 weeks. I kinda hope they'll come on their own on the 9th though since that's my favorite number. :P
Natalie Bennett Was the shot terbutaline? I've had pre-term labor in all of my pregnancies! With my first pregnancy, I went into pre-term labor at 28 weeks, went to the hospital, was having contractions every 3-4 minutes, that were lasting 60-90 seconds. I was given the terbutaline injection, and had to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. When discharged, I was given a prescription for terbutaline pills, and had to take them every 4-6 hours! The terbutaline, does make you feel jittery and your heart races! Because of that, I stopped taking them, about 5 days later! I again, went into pre-term labor at 31 weeks, and again, had to have the terbutaline injection, to slow down and stop contractions! At my followup with my midwife, I was told I had prodromal labor, and that, I basically, had to deal with it! At 31 weeks along, I was dilated to a 2-2.5, but there were no other changes! Going through prodromal labor, is in no way, a walk in the park! I had contractions, round the clock, some more painful than others, and some, that I'd have to breathe through! I would try to rest, as often as possible, but as a person, who is always on the go, laying in bed or lounging all day, was very hard for me, and I couldn't just sit or lay there, for more than, an hour or two! I gave birth to my son at 35 weeks and a few days, and he was 7 pounds 3 oz and 22 3/4" long! The nurses, had to give me steroids, for my sons lungs, while in labor, and he came out, breathing on his own, and had no problems! I definitely believe, you won't make it to your due date, but I'm sure, you'll go until 37-39 weeks, and deliver a healthy baby girl! You don't have much longer to go, so keep trying to take it easy, don't over do it, by pushing yourself too hard, continue drinking a lot of water, finding positions, that help ease the contractions and help with "lightening crotch"(I remember that pain all too well and it can honestly make you double over or fall to the floor, because it hurts so bad) and lastly, enjoy the last few weeks, with your boys, making them feel loved and doing something special with them, before you become a mommy of 3, and don't even have time to shower! Sending you lots of love and prayers!
I was in early labour with both my boys, both of them came at 35w and both times I was hospitalized prior to birth with 24h IV to stop contractions (didn't help much) too. Both times it started around 23w, first I got only oral medicine but with my first my water broke at 34w5d and with my second I was hospitalized because my cervix was only 9mm short. I'm still to this point of day not sure WHAT those contractions exactly were or where they came from. My belly got hard a lot but not all of those "contractions" took away my breath (those would be BH I imagine). I feel like my belly was constantly hard, harder than other womens bellies at least. It was only soft when I laid on my back :/ The "hard bellies" did obviously have an impact on my cervix though, even though length changed a lot, taking the meds or not, so I don't think they were only BH. My guess would be irritable uterus. I was never checked on dehydration or anything else though, here in Japan they give out the medications like candy and don't even look for other causes. If you are in early labour, I would really suggest not to have sex though. Like there are lot of things to avoid, sex, caffeine, sports, heavy lifting etc. Hang in there, just a few more weeks!! If you could make it to 37w, that'd be awesome! I wish I could have made it that far :/ both my boys were ok but had to go to NICU for a week..
Oh girl. I feel for you. This exact situation happened when I was pregnant with Charlotte. I was having contractions every 5 to 7 minutes at 32 weeks, called my midwife, and she told me to get my butt on into triage. When I got there they were pretty stunned and basically just said, "We're going to give you the medication to stop preterm labor." It all happened so fast and everyone was rushing around that I didn't even think to ask the name of the drug - but it was the injection form. My contractions stopped and I ended up going 4 days passed my due date and had a beautiful, crazy, drug free, natural delivery. :) I also had this with Rosalie but the difference is I knew my body much better that time around. I would have 16, yes, SIXTEEN contractions in one hour at about 33 or 34 weeks pregnant. My cervix would never change though and my midwife really trusted me to let her know when I thought MY body was doing something out of the ordinary for ME. I also thought it was a first-time pregnancy thing but I guess it's a Hannah thing! So glad that your "Natalie thing" has resolved itself like mine did! Our bodies can do amazing things, huh? XOXO, Lady!
praying for you and your family, I'm 14 weeks... very excited and we find out the sex next week, I'LL be a mommie of 3 as well. love all your videos and your amazing family...
with my oldest (7) i was given the injection to stop Labour after an hour and a half it didn't stop so they gave me another one. finally after another hour they stopped. i went 2days shy of 43weeks. i was due october 9th and gave birth october 29th. I needed to be induced despite my best efforts. so i completely understand not wanting the injections.
with baby number 4 (7months) i had prodromal Labour. i delivered at 36weeks she was 5lbs 7oz and 18.5inches long and breathing on her own. she was perfect in every way. and aa for the "lightning crotch" i know that feeling all too well. not fun. i can't wait to see your precious baby girl.
I went through it for all my pregnancies including this one, I'm due on April 16 and have been having contractions starting at around 20 weeks, the last couple of weeks they have been very consistent and uncomfortable but I haven't gone to the hospital since I know that it's normal for me. My doctor did checked and confirmed that I wasn't progressing at all. My first 2 were born after my due date and I believe this one will be the same.
Thats funny, I was watching the video, firstly seeing the belly shots and I think to myself "wow the belly is deffinitely lower" and then you say it few second after :-D
Would you be able to take us through the maternity/nursing clothes that you recommend? I am in my first trimester now and want to purchase clothes that last!
+Jane Doe Every doctor is a bit different. They may decide to deliver the baby if they were seeing that my cervix was being dialated (what they call "active labor") and they weren't able to stop contractions with drugs. Before 36 weeks they do everything they can to stop labor, beyond 36 weeks there's not much they can do and the baby is big enough to have an easier time after being born.
Sandra Palacios honey don’t you worry, I’ve gained 55 pounds and I’m 32 weeks right now, my doctors not too concerned about it all, She just said every woman has fluctuations in weight while pregnant whether many pounds or none at all, your body knows what it’s doing and it wants what’s best for your baby, it’s only natural, so don’t worry
I’m 33 weeks today. I just had the FFN test done because I was having pre term contractions regularly.
Thank God it came back negative. So I should be ok for at least 2 more weeks.

My wife is 33 weeks today so it’s nice seeing videos like yours to get more informed myself even tho it was 4 years ago for you.
Sending prayers. I'm actually really happy that you addressed how uncomfortable these contractions are. You tend to be very, very positive during these updates and it is almost more comforting to see you as a real woman dealing with pregnancy.

Really this technique help?
Didnt work for me
Also you can go in an all fours positions to help them turn. You can also physically touch your stomach and do a Leopold maneuver.

I totally understand the contraction issue! From 16 weeks on I have had contractions about 15-20 times an hour and it goes until I have the baby. I am pregnant with my fifth this time and same thing this time around. :) I love your posts, thank you for sharing!

Incidentally she was an April baby too
I also had this with my last pregnancy. My now been almost eight year old girl was born five days after the duedate. grzz from the netherlands
wow! the baby grew a lot within the last 2 weeks! 😊
Baby Girl looks higher up this week rather than last week.
glad your having a girl she will bring a blessing to your life
Constant contractions sounds like no fun, good to hear they're not doing much at this point. Prayers for you
I'm a new subscriber. May God continue to bless your family!

Any babies yet lovelys?
Prayers for the rest of your pregnancy! - cassie
I'm glad things are going well enough so far. I also hope my twins will get as close as possible to their target date. They'll be evicted on April 12th at the latest, which would be exactly 38 weeks. I kinda hope they'll come on their own on the 9th though since that's my favorite number. :P
Peppermint essential oil works like a charm for back pain.
Angel Bary yes it does i used it for my labor with Esther. its amazing.
Omg your belly got huge compared to last week!!
I love these updates! I'm 32 weeks and I actually live in Puyallup!
praying for you and baby girl nat!
I also had this with Rosalie but the difference is I knew my body much better that time around.
Hahhahaaa lightning crotch is no joke!
I'm jealous of the 15 lbs. I'm at 55 😭 and 33 weeks pregnant.
Praying for you and baby! 😀
Good luck for your baby girl

Wow you look so young to have two others
Iam 32 weaks how money months please tell me
At what point would they decide to just go ahead and deliver the baby?
+Jane Doe Every doctor is a bit different. They may decide to deliver the baby if they were seeing that my cervix was being dialated (what they call "active labor") and they weren't able to stop contractions with drugs. Before 36 weeks they do everything they can to stop labor, beyond 36 weeks there's not much they can do and the baby is big enough to have an easier time after being born.
Jane Doe they usually try to make sure baby stays in til 37+ weeks.
so unless your water has broken, they will stop the labor
I’ve gained 50 pounds 😒😔
Sandra Palacios honey don’t you worry, I’ve gained 55 pounds and I’m 32 weeks right now, my doctors not too concerned about it all, She just said every woman has fluctuations in weight while pregnant whether many pounds or none at all, your body knows what it’s doing and it wants what’s best for your baby, it’s only natural, so don’t worry
Me too....sigh. I hate the weight lol.
I love you
