What an exciting time!! I don't want to be an alarmist, but please be very very mindful of baby girl's movements over the next bit before you go into labor. We almost lost my first son following an experience similar to yours and it is only by the grace of God that he's here and healthy 8 years later! 💙 Praying for an easy, uneventful delivery for your sweet girl! 2 out of the 3 kids my mom had (including me) were born 2 weeks after her due date! There were no complications and we came out perfectly healthy! Hang in there girl, God is completely in control and he knows exactly what he's doing! Good luck!! 💕💕

I’ve watched each of your pregnancy videos along with my own pregnancy (so, one a week) ever since I first got my positive test. Your update videos have been like a friend to me throughout this 40 week journey and I can’t believe it’s over and I’m going to be meeting my little one any day now. I would skip the castor oil...but a few things that put me into labor naturally with my last baby, were sex (can help soften the cervix), pineapple, and then I actually started contracting while getting a pedicure...I don't know if it was the pressure points they were massaging or what, but she was born the next morning! Good luck!!! I can't wait to "meet" her!
I walked/jogged on the treadmill (it was the middle of winter, so outdoor walks weren't an option on the evening of my due date) made it about 2.5 miles before anything happened, but then all of a sudden I realized my waters were starting to leak! 😱 so that's what worked for me, but I've heard alllll kinds of crazy methods! Praying for a smooth, peaceful labor and delivery for you!! 💕

I had my daughter at 38+2 and went into labour naturally. I had a fast labour too and was only in active labour for three hours (20 minutes of pushing). I had done a power yoga session beforehand and ate Indian curry. Haha I know the curry thing is so cliche but it worked! :) Now pregnant with my second and hoping for a quick delivery again. 3 days after my due date I walked for a whole day... Just out and about for the whole day and when I got home in the evening preparing dinner... My water broke and the rest is history... That was my 3rd vaginal delivery and was so happy rings got started naturally. Current 12 weeks with little member number 4

Here in the future 4 years later but I got to watch this last pregnancy update on my due date (today!). I’ve been watching them from the very beginning each day that I turn the next week. Your first video with your pregnancy announcement actually convinced me to take a pregnancy test! (I was so sure I was pregnant but since it was so early and I hadn’t missed my period yet I was afraid to take it too early….you saying that even if you were detecting an early miscarriage you wanted to know about that life convinced me to take my own test 😊). Thank you for being with me each week of pregnancy even years later!!! Now I’m in the same boat, reading the comments and hoping for natural labor inducing tips so I don’t have to be medically induced 😄

I am in the exact SAME situation. Waiting for my 2nd baby who was due the 28th. Had contractions regularly a month ago now things are more chill. Scheduled induction for May 5th. What you said about it feeling surreal is completely accurate! I too am enjoying the time with my daughter and husband and I'm getting some nesting done. At least she should be here by next weekend...

I feel you Hun, my second child came at about 42 and a half weeks. I did the sweep and acupuncture for encouraging labour and I walked a lot. I tell I was over the moon when my sweet baby finally came. Wish you a great labour .
Massage/acupressure! I'm a licensed therapist and that is how I put my sister into consistent labor when she was 40+4. You could also go get a good pedicure!

My midwives okayed me taking raspberry leaf tea coupled with some black cohosh drops. After three days of three cups a day-my third was here. I was experiencing prodromal labor for about 2 weeks. I don't do checks or sweeps unless I'm past 40/41 weeks so I can't vouch for how soft or dilated I was prior to drinking theta concoction but it obviously worked and helped. She was the easiest labor by far. I was laughing right up until the end (drug free) with my midwives until they gowned up and told me I was crowning. It was pretty painless!

I have 4 kids. My body does not hold babies past 37-38 weeks. But, when I hit 37 weeks I would do a lot more squats, stand up spread my legs and rock back and forth also while squatting. During a contraction I would start doing my squats and rocking or standing and rocking side to side. I felt that might help get the baby in a better position and continue making the contractions continue or progress.

Do not worry, only 4% arrive on the exact due date. It's just an estimate to be prepared two weeks before or after your due date. A great midwife, Ina May Gaskin talks about this. Praying for you and baby girl!
Can't wait for baby girl to arrive!! Being patient is very hard I know because my last two babies were born at 41 weeks and 2 days ughh.... bouncing on a body ball definitely helps do pelvic tilts And squats but she'll come when she's ready just try to relax as much as you can.
So excited for baby! We had a lull in the heartbeat with my youngest as well in the later weeks. Turns out she was sleeping! I swear by ginger tea for activating labor! I drank a few cups and went into labor within 6 hours. Of course I also was doing bouncing on the birthing ball, and lunges as my dr recommended haha

First was a membrane sweep, second was cleaning house all day and sex at night, third water broke ( but sealed itself, so I had a couple small pops). also lavender essential oil bath😉 I also wanted to progress it, so maid sure that if I felt contractions, I walked, went up and down the stairs and pressure points etc to keep the contractions coming😉😊 sending labor dust and positive vibes for a fast, healthy delivery 😊
I went into labor at 40 weeks 6 days! I swam laps in my midwife's pool the day I went into labor! Basically just rested on a kick board and swam back and forth for about an hour or so! I went into labor about 2 hours after I got home from doing that!
Natalie, I have loved watching your channel. Your channel was the first I subscribed to when you got pregnant with your boys, and I've watched you since. I found out that I was pregnant with our first bio baby within days of your pregnancy announcement of your singleton pregnancy! Your updates have coincided with my pregnancy and it's been so fun to compare! While I don't have twins, my husband and I have been foster parents (until recently, our placement transferred out a few weeks ago) to two children at a time throughout my pregnancy, and we went through a move as well! I feel as though we are kindred hearts and your vlogs and updates have given me a lot of comfort. My due date is days away and I can't thank you enough for putting your story out there for us to follow! Currently eating spicy food, sitting on a yoga ball, taking walks, and letting my body tell me when it's ready to prepare for our little boy! Have a blessed weekend! Nobody thought that we both would be still pregnant. My due date was the 17th of April but my doctor thought I would go into labor way earlier. So maybe we will go into labor together. 😁❤️
I haven't personally had kids yet but I have watched my best friend go through three pregnancies (currently halfway through her third) and we discovered that cold lunch meats kick-started hers. I worked at Subway while she was pregnant with her second baby and she craved ham sandwiches. Luckily she was toward the end when she came in to eat and baby girl was with us shortly after.
It's so crazy! This last part of your pregnancy is almost to the t what I experienced with my pregnancy this time last year, also a baby girl and my due date was April 19th, but she decided to come on April 24th💗 Sending you lots of thoughts and prayers for a safe easy labor and delivery! Also, this may be tmi but, for both my pregnancies sex helped me kick start labor. If your comfortable doing that right now I'd suggest that. Semen is supposed to help soften the cervix, and it can help your body to start releasing oxytocin.

Sometimes the umbilical chord can wrap around the baby and can make the heart rate drop. Hopefully that's not happening! Fingers crossed this baby comes soon!!
We watched youtube videos on the pressure points that can induce labor. My hubby massaged the points on my hands and feet for me, and I went into labor the next day. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but baby was here not long after doing that!

With our first it was the Firecracker Chicken at Panda Express. I don't know what it was about it but it sent me and my friend both into labor (when it was time). My first was born at 40+6. My second I tried EVERYTHING, short of castor oil and sex(my husband was deployed). I ate almost an entire fresh pineapple, drank raspberry leaf tea, used primrose oil, nipple stimulation. NOTHING! I started at 39 weeks trying these. I gave up and she arrived at 40+1 when she was good and ready. It's hard to know if anything actually works or if it's just a coincidence. Somethings may work for others but have no effect on you, you just never know. Many prayers for peace, comfort and patience. And prayers for a safe and healthy delivery!!!!
My first was due Dec 2. At my appointment on Dec 12 (a Thursday) there were no signs of labor at all so we scheduled an induction for that Monday which would have been the start of week 42. We'll that night my water spontaneously broke, so we had our baby the next afternoon. I give credit to plenty of fresh pineapple!

My first baby was a c-section. I just had my second 6 months ago and had a VBAC. They wouldn't let me have an induction because the medicine to start labor can cause the c-section scar to rupture. Im 40 weeks pregnant and I wanted to try a vaginal delivery after my csection 8years ago with twins,my doctor told me exactly what you said about the rupture, I think I'll have a csection because naturally I did not have any contractions and i was only 1cm dilated this Wednesday,so I don't think i will having a vaginal after all. I have just 2 days before my csection. Little sad about it.😕

Also, something magical about walking around Target. That sent a couple of my friends into labor! One of which had her water break near the Christmas display. 😬🎄
I was overdue with both my kids. one was natural with no epidural at 40 weeks 6 days. My second was 40 weeks, 3 days. induction. Believe or not, my natural, no epidural birth was easier and quicker! Very painful, but she was born 3 hours after arriving to hospital in full labor! Good luck Momma!!
I'm so excited for you Natalie! Hope everything goes smoothly with your labor and delivery. I'm almost 26 wks pregnant with baby #5, it's a girl! I've been all over with going into labor, always late. My 1st was 6 days late, 2nd was 1 day late, 3rd was 7 days late (had to get induced) 😕 and my 4th was 2 days late. I was so nervous about having to get induced again that I was taking red raspberry leaf pills with my 4th. I had 3 membrane strips done, the last one being on my due date. My suggestion would be, its kind of silly, the horse trot! You put one foot on the road and one foot on the sidewalk and go walking! That put me into labor the night before I gave birth to my 4th. Soo glad shes doing well! I know how scary that can be. I was 37 weeks, dilated 3cm 90% effaced and having alot of contractions and went to the hospital but wasnt dilated any more so they turned me on my side to monitor baby for 30 mins. 10 minutes later the doctor came in and said baby's heartbeat was fluctuating, going up too high and down too low which is a sign of stress so they recommended I get induced since 37 weeks is term. It was scary to hear that. I was having contractions and Braxton hicks my entire pregnancy just like you and this was my second baby, first baby my water broke and had a five hour natural labor so I was hoping to go natural again but that wasnt the case for me. Also, I had GD this pregnancy which I didnt have with my first. I was induced, they broke my water and I was dilated to a 10 in 45 minutes! However pushing was extremely painful because of the added pitocin. Im just glad my little boy is healthy and thriving. He is 16 months old now and his big sister is 3 years old and they absolutely love eachother! I hope everything turns out well for you no matter what happens!

I've been watching since the beginning and am currently 34 weeks with baby number 3 :) have so enjoyed following your guys transformation into parents and can't wait to hear of the arrival of your little girly! As a fellow essential oil user, try 3 drops of clary sage massaged into your tummy with some base oil to try and get labour going- I'm not sure if it was coincidence, but my waters broke the morning after doing this last time round the day after my due date- and I shall be trying it again if I reach full term this time :) good luck, and wishing you a happy labour and birth :) xx

Nat I danced my baby out. I went to a wedding the night before a d danced my butt off The following morning while slicing a bagel open my water broke. Not what I expected at all considering I was only 36 weeks. Good luck and God bless.
Eat the most spicy food you can handle, I also drank pure pineapple juice, like 6 cans of it.🙈 I did a ridiculous amount of squats and lunges. Went into labor less than 24 hours later. Oh, also drank milk of magnesia which is safe. Best wishes!

My mum went into labor naturally with all 3 of her children and swears the method that got them in there in the first place gets them out 😜😜

I have 4 kids. My body does not hold babies past 37-38 weeks. But, when I hit 37 weeks I would do a lot more squats, stand up spread my legs and rock back and forth also while squatting. During a contraction I would start doing my squats and rocking or standing and rocking side to side. I felt that might help get the baby in a better position and continue making the contractions continue or progress.
enjoy it and be thankful, imagine all the women who have given birth to premature babies! I am almost 29 weeks with my first and praying to God that I'll make it to full term!!! let alone 40 weeks! 🙏🏻
Do not worry, only 4% arrive on the exact due date. It's just an estimate to be prepared two weeks before or after your due date. A great midwife, Ina May Gaskin talks about this. Praying for you and baby girl!
Can't wait for baby girl to arrive!! Being patient is very hard I know because my last two babies were born at 41 weeks and 2 days ughh.... bouncing on a body ball definitely helps do pelvic tilts And squats but she'll come when she's ready just try to relax as much as you can.
So excited for baby! We had a lull in the heartbeat with my youngest as well in the later weeks. Turns out she was sleeping! I swear by ginger tea for activating labor! I drank a few cups and went into labor within 6 hours. Of course I also was doing bouncing on the birthing ball, and lunges as my dr recommended haha

First was a membrane sweep, second was cleaning house all day and sex at night, third water broke ( but sealed itself, so I had a couple small pops). also lavender essential oil bath😉 I also wanted to progress it, so maid sure that if I felt contractions, I walked, went up and down the stairs and pressure points etc to keep the contractions coming😉😊 sending labor dust and positive vibes for a fast, healthy delivery 😊

I went into labor at 40 weeks 6 days! I swam laps in my midwife's pool the day I went into labor! Basically just rested on a kick board and swam back and forth for about an hour or so! I went into labor about 2 hours after I got home from doing that!

Natalie, I have loved watching your channel. Your channel was the first I subscribed to when you got pregnant with your boys, and I've watched you since. I found out that I was pregnant with our first bio baby within days of your pregnancy announcement of your singleton pregnancy! Your updates have coincided with my pregnancy and it's been so fun to compare! While I don't have twins, my husband and I have been foster parents (until recently, our placement transferred out a few weeks ago) to two children at a time throughout my pregnancy, and we went through a move as well! I feel as though we are kindred hearts and your vlogs and updates have given me a lot of comfort. My due date is days away and I can't thank you enough for putting your story out there for us to follow!

Nobody thought that we both would be still pregnant. My due date was the 17th of April but my doctor thought I would go into labor way earlier. So maybe we will go into labor together. 😁❤️

I haven't personally had kids yet but I have watched my best friend go through three pregnancies (currently halfway through her third) and we discovered that cold lunch meats kick-started hers. I worked at Subway while she was pregnant with her second baby and she craved ham sandwiches. Luckily she was toward the end when she came in to eat and baby girl was with us shortly after.

It's so crazy! This last part of your pregnancy is almost to the t what I experienced with my pregnancy this time last year, also a baby girl and my due date was April 19th, but she decided to come on April 24th💗 Sending you lots of thoughts and prayers for a safe easy labor and delivery! Also, this may be tmi but, for both my pregnancies sex helped me kick start labor. If your comfortable doing that right now I'd suggest that. Semen is supposed to help soften the cervix, and it can help your body to start releasing oxytocin.

Sometimes the umbilical chord can wrap around the baby and can make the heart rate drop. Hopefully that's not happening! Fingers crossed this baby comes soon!!
We watched youtube videos on the pressure points that can induce labor. My hubby massaged the points on my hands and feet for me, and I went into labor the next day. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but baby was here not long after doing that!

With our first it was the Firecracker Chicken at Panda Express. I don't know what it was about it but it sent me and my friend both into labor (when it was time). My first was born at 40+6. My second I tried EVERYTHING, short of castor oil and sex(my husband was deployed). I ate almost an entire fresh pineapple, drank raspberry leaf tea, used primrose oil, nipple stimulation. NOTHING! I started at 39 weeks trying these. I gave up and she arrived at 40+1 when she was good and ready. It's hard to know if anything actually works or if it's just a coincidence. Somethings may work for others but have no effect on you, you just never know. Many prayers for peace, comfort and patience. And prayers for a safe and healthy delivery!!!!
My first was due Dec 2. At my appointment on Dec 12 (a Thursday) there were no signs of labor at all so we scheduled an induction for that Monday which would have been the start of week 42. We'll that night my water spontaneously broke, so we had our baby the next afternoon. I give credit to plenty of fresh pineapple!

My first baby was a c-section. I just had my second 6 months ago and had a VBAC. They wouldn't let me have an induction because the medicine to start labor can cause the c-section scar to rupture. What are the methods they are going to try at your scheduled induction?

Im 40 weeks pregnant and I wanted to try a vaginal delivery after my csection 8years ago with twins,my doctor told me exactly what you said about the rupture, I think I'll have a csection because naturally I did not have any contractions and i was only 1cm dilated this Wednesday,so I don't think i will having a vaginal after all.
I have just 2 days before my csection. Little sad about it.😕

I was overdue with both my kids. one was natural with no epidural at 40 weeks 6 days. My second was 40 weeks, 3 days. induction. Believe or not, my natural, no epidural birth was easier and quicker! Very painful, but she was born 3 hours after arriving to hospital in full labor! Good luck Momma!!

I'm almost 26 wks pregnant with baby #5, it's a girl! I've been all over with going into labor, always late. My 1st was 6 days late, 2nd was 1 day late, 3rd was 7 days late (had to get induced) 😕 and my 4th was 2 days late. I was so nervous about having to get induced again that I was taking red raspberry leaf pills with my 4th. I had 3 membrane strips done, the last one being on my due date. My suggestion would be, its kind of silly, the horse trot! You put one foot on the road and one foot on the sidewalk and go walking! That put me into labor the night before I gave birth to my 4th. Soo glad shes doing well! I know how scary that can be. I was 37 weeks, dilated 3cm 90% effaced and having alot of contractions and went to the hospital but wasnt dilated any more so they turned me on my side to monitor baby for 30 mins. 10 minutes later the doctor came in and said baby's heartbeat was fluctuating, going up too high and down too low which is a sign of stress so they recommended I get induced since 37 weeks is term. It was scary to hear that. I was having contractions and Braxton hicks my entire pregnancy just like you and this was my second baby, first baby my water broke and had a five hour natural labor so I was hoping to go natural again but that wasnt the case for me. Also, I had GD this pregnancy which I didnt have with my first. I was induced, they broke my water and I was dilated to a 10 in 45 minutes! However pushing was extremely painful because of the added pitocin. Im just glad my little boy is healthy and thriving. He is 16 months old now and his big sister is 3 years old and they absolutely love eachother! I hope everything turns out well for you no matter what happens!

I've been watching since the beginning and am currently 34 weeks with baby number 3 :) have so enjoyed following your guys transformation into parents and can't wait to hear of the arrival of your little girly! As a fellow essential oil user, try 3 drops of clary sage massaged into your tummy with some base oil to try and get labour going- I'm not sure if it was coincidence, but my waters broke the morning after doing this last time round the day after my due date- and I shall be trying it again if I reach full term this time :) good luck, and wishing you a happy labour and birth :) xx

With my first baby I went to McDonald's and got a Big Mac meal with a shake and I super sized it. And a little bit after I ate it I was in labor with my little girl :)

Nat I danced my baby out. I went to a wedding the night before a d danced my butt off The following morning while slicing a bagel open my water broke. Not what I expected at all considering I was only 36 weeks. Good luck and God bless.

Eat the most spicy food you can handle, I also drank pure pineapple juice, like 6 cans of it.🙈 I did a ridiculous amount of squats and lunges. Went into labor less than 24 hours later. Oh, also drank milk of magnesia which is safe. Best wishes!
