I’ve learned that boundaries don’t mean that people need to meet all your preferences but that people should respect your limits.

The Narc even HATES it if you express boundaries concerning others. The ex Narc said to me “so it’s all about you.” I said “yeah, it IS all about me.” After that interaction I was throwing my boundaries around like nobody’s business! LOL 😆

My mom used to say it’s all about you when I wanted to take a shower.😂

Wow this shows just how detrimental it is to our health to be deprived of our basic boundaries for the sake of an unhealthy, self-centred person.

I have a scenario that this fits with right now. My ex is giving me an ultimatum to take the dog that she adopted. She is saying the dog is ruining doors by scratching them when left in a room. The dog requires love and attention (like an ex-husband) and is therefore inconvenient. I do take her on weekends but am now in an apartment where her howling when I go to work would get me evicted. I told the narcissist (who works from home and could spend all day with the dog) this, but now the narc is having a tantrum and telling me to take the dog or else. My boundary of just weekends is being ignored. And any response I give will turn into supply. The game goes on with all problems being offloaded onto me, even after discard.

It seems like so many people are going vegan these days! But I personally know like two of them. Haha. You’re welcome for the video.

"Your boundaries are for them to decide. What you eat... Whether you go on a hike or who they go with..."

Thank you for your incredible insight and wisdom. They absolutely hate boundaries and will use words like “ you’re crazy, a psychopath or you’re causing drama, are toxic or way too sensitive… all just because you simply asserted a healthy basic boundary. That’s when you have a pivotal moment and know you’re dealing with a narc.

You don't need their permission to do what's right for you.

The are just clowns. The covert vulnerable narcissists will stay away becuz you scare them lol. Throwing back the silent treatment from you to them isn’t that pleasant as they see it when they had turned the tables when you didn’t know what this word even was. Just let all of this sink in lol. They are children!
