Wow. You did it again man. Update on my garden - my plants are doing great! I’ve got peppers on almost all of them, some of the plants have upwards of 12-20 peppers growing on them. HOWEVER. I have two poblano’s - both next to each other and in the same conditions. Both are about the same size, get the same fertilizer, and same amount of sun. One of them has 7 poblano’s currently growing on it, and the other is struggling to get flowers to bloom. It’s got plenty of lush, healthy leaves but it’s lacking buds and flowers. I believe it must be an excess of nitrogen, so I switched to a different fertilizer that has more phosphate and less nitrogen.
OHHH the fans are a great idea!! Its not even summer yet and we've have been getting temps way over 90. I've moved my pepper plants so they get morning sun only and by afternoon they are shaded. But I don't think they get more than 4 or 5 hrs of direct sunlight. I live in the desert though and the temperature during the summer will reach over 100 by 12pm sometimes and stay over 100 at night some times as well.... Thinking I might need to set up some type of indoor grow for the summer.
I've gone to a 100% indoor grow now too, been buisy moving everything over today. Got a few bits to take tomorrow and I'll be set up. I'll be able to keep more control that way.
Love your channel and this video mate, I lived in North Wales (Wrexham) for a few years about 20 years ago and your accent brings back memories! I have flower drop on a few of my indoor chilli plants, fingers crossed I can sort it out with your advice 🤞
@@WelshChilli Thanks mate, only the Takanotsume has set fruit, flowers have fallen off the cayenne and prairie fire but I suspect spraying too much neem oil has caused it. I look forward to more of your videos and hope you have a good year of growing.
@@WelshChilli I didn't think it would, but I think what's happened is I've sprayed it twice in a week and the plant hasn't dried off indoors. The amount that fell off the prairie fire was unbelievable. My fault if anything, I had a look online and plenty of people have had the same problem. The only reason I sprayed the bloody things is because a few aphids got on 3 plants after leaving them outside in the daytime.
Hi, My chilli plant buds are turning yellow and drying off. I have planted them in pots. What could be the reason of this yellowing and drying of chilli flower buds?
I have been putting my plants outside for a few hours and this has definitely helped encourage fruits on plants that kept dropping the flowers.
Great tip, cooling the plants down does help set fruits.

Good, good. Sounds exciting. Yeah the nitrogen will influence it to keep growing.
I had to watch the egg part twice. Thanks! Never herd of that before. My fan works perfectly for pollinating. Got a ton of fruits growing in my tent.
Did you ? haha. Super, have a bounty full season !
Great tips on the nutriënt deficiencies, thank you! Hopefully I can help a Reaper plant that seems to have a calcium problem in the Aerogarden.
No worries, hope everything works out for you.
you are a proper chilli doctor. Thank you so much for all these tips!
No worries, glad to help !

Neem oil does nothing to the plants, only to insects so the neem shouldn't be the problem.

What do you think is more challenging: growing in tropical climate like Philippines or growing somewhere with winter?
Really depends on the equipment you have. If you have enough money to spend on equipment and power then either is fine.

Lack of water and or nutrients, cold weather will do it too. You do however have a few drop off before you get set fruit.
Honestly I must say thanks for the calcium tip.
No worries, glad to help.
