I have a question for you that would be very helpful. I have a beautiful, 2-biome landscape using openland. I used Gaea to create all heightmaps and masks. I also used the "mesher" node in Gaea to export a fbx model. I want to use the fxb model as backdrop terrain. I want to find a way to export my OpenLand-textured landscape as a 2017x2017 texture for my model. I textured the terrain in Gaea but the colors do not match at all. So, is there a way to export all of my landscape paint layers to a .png file? Then I could apply it to my fbx mesh.
I want to create a place with two concepts in one landscape. By the way, can you express two concepts (cliff and ground) in relation to automaterials? If so, I'm curious how to do it, and why not just add roughness to the alpha of the tile's default map in the landscape?
@@GDi4K I found the answer in your video, thank you. I wanted to use 2 slope textures and 2 ground textures as an automatic material. th-cam.com/video/cfEirqN4GZ4/w-d-xo.html
this is a good tutorial and I have a question, does it work fine when rendering a movie, when I use grass type it crashes when rendering the movie
It should work. If this is 5.1, it's a world of hidden bugs. Stick with 5.0 for now.

You mean paint layers as masks right? They you can right click on the any paint layer on the landscape tool and download it.
hello, does this change anything in terms of optimization? Or is it the same as painting by hand..?
Yes. Nothing changes in performance. Everything is inside the Editor.
@@GDi4K thank you bro
