I came to find this video specifically because I just saw that some scientists developed some contacts that let you zoom in three times as far… But that’s about it
In the Orlando's updated version, Shaq was replaced with an Orlando City soccer player (the team was relatively new at the time) kicking a ball past a goalie
@@figment1988 huh. I’ve only ever seen the Shaq clips. The show ran for so long that he went from being in a Magic uniform, to a Lakers, and then Miami jersey. Wonder if the OCFC clip is out there…
I went to the T2-3D show in orlando and I can stop watching all these videos related to the terminator, I loved the show so Mucha dn my favorite movie was judgement day, if anyone has any videos representing the terminator, like anything in HD please send me the link, I love t2-3d
Especially since he'd play a character, whom would cause a similar Robo-apocalypse, but in a different version of Earth, whether far in the future, or an alternate timeline, known as Mobius. That character being Dr. Robotnik.
Even though I sadly never saw the show in person, I prefer this version of the preshow to the new one, the music better conveys the products demonstrated and Jim Cummings did a perfect job being just subtly creepy with the narration.
This is the second video I've seen in which people mentioned this was replaced by Despicable Me... I went to Universal for the first time a little over a month ago, and they had both T2-3D *and* Despicable Me rides. Maybe they changed their minds?
Back in the short time when I read Popular Science, I remember at the end of each issue a retrospective to a past issue called The Future Then. By the end of Terminator 2 3D's run, this pre-show must have had that feeling. Let's count how many reasons why 1. If you set up a Skype account, in theory, you can teach hundreds or even thousands of kids at once. Granted this would be a bad idea since lots of kids need help with their lessons and whoever was on the giving end would be overwhelmed with questions. 2. While there probably still aren't 5,000 TV channels, I suspect there now exists enough content to fill time for that many channels. 3. While mechanical arms to tuck a child into bed aren't (yet) commercially available, having video chats with your kids is certainly something that ordinary people can do. Still, I wonder if there was an attitude on this ride of "Just pretend it's 1996. It's the only way this pre-show will work."
There seems to have been a newer version introduced in the other locations after this one stopped. This older version seems to be harder to find on TH-cam. I personally prefer it as it seems slightly less wooden and I just like the retro feel of it. I am surprised it ran like this for as long as it did though.
I went to the last show on the last day. I cried.
Its almost year 2020 and we dont even have those awesome terminator contacts
DJI Robomaster S1

But we do have Zoom and the Netflix algorithm to choose our shows, so that’s good I guess?
Most people won't even recognize it, but the voice of the narrator is actually Jim Cummings! He's also the narrator for IllumiNations at EPCOT
Confirmed. Winnie the Pooh (Jim Cummings) is the spokesperson of Skynet
Thank you for uploading this and keeping it clean and professional! Almost feels just like I'm there again.
2021 and we pretty much have half this stuff already. 5000 channels? Thanks TH-cam!
Did this preshow scare anyone when they were younger?
Nope, but it did intimidate me.
@@screwmysisterleon Intimidation is a form of fear.
Not me
Nah, you’re taking the roll of a cyberdyne investor, you’re basically a VIP
Shaq finally able to get a free throw shot?!? We're truly in the future!

I love the music in the preshow

Was anyone aware that Jim Cummings was in the opening sequence of Terminator 2:3D?
Especially since he'd play a character, whom would cause a similar Robo-apocalypse, but in a different version of Earth, whether far in the future, or an alternate timeline, known as Mobius. That character being Dr. Robotnik.
I've known the trailer voice from trailers of any paramount movie ever.
Cant believe this show was replaced by crappy minions.
the one in orlando got replaced by the bourne show, which is a lot cooler in person. Miss terminator though 🥲

Skynet & Cyberdyne = Social-Media
I large piece of me and my childhood died inside when I realized that they replaced it for freaking DESPICABLE ME!
Ugh!!!!
HaloModder555 come to orlando, we still have it here
@Trend101Warrior yeah, i know :(
Lol in Orlando Shaq is in his Orlando uni colors
At 2:49? That's what turned out to be his Lakers number and colors. Pretty wild.
Crazy thing is we have a lot of this technology today.
Way scarier in 2024 than it was in 1994.
So, Dr. Robotnik was Skynet all along.
IS there an HD version of thsi commercial on youtube
Terminator 2:3D - Cyberdyne Preshow - Universal Studios Hollywood
Common Core, anyone? Talk about predictive programming...
The "butterfly running on batteries"
starring Grumman , Lockheed, McDonald Douglas and Boeing fighter jets from a time outdated long ago.
(superhornet still flies today)

You are experiencing Universal Orlando. Terminator 2:3D was closed in California and replaced by Despicable Me.

Musk should really roll all his companies into one and call it Cyberdyne so he could use that awesome corporate PR video.
I'm surprised he hasn't to be honest.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to get the Shaq joke.
It all makes sense now. Soon we will be told what and not to say. Hehe. Lucky it’s only sci-fi........
Make it into reality in real life.
O9>😮
Was so great
I was rooting for the Connors the whole time. in my mind I was chanting “yes yes blow it up!”
hopefully letting the bystanders get out first
The Kimberly Duncan they have at Universal Orlando is better.. But annoying
This was the proper one. The one that replaced this was crap.
This video should horrify the modern citizen of the world.
skynet
Google is watching.
Elon Musk joined the chat
That lady in the beginning reminds me of every Republican politician.
oof
She couldn't make it as a real actress, so she ended up here.
I would look into therapy.
man shes terrible....... the couple of times i went to it the girl acting as the presenter was more believable
