@@Simlife101 For sure T1 and T2 are masterpieces. T3 it's an OK movie. Had more wins than fails. Even Salvation and Genesys had good points and unlike Dark Fate didn't spit in the franchise face and killed any chances for Terminator in cinema.
That was supposed to be Salvation but they messed up the aesthetics... making it in mostly daylight for one thing... they should have used the "Future War" scenes from Terminator 1 & 2 as the basis... and used the same theme music.

I don’t care if this game isn’t visually pretty, it was fun to play. I never thought we’d ever get a greater focus on the future war. But the devs nailed it.
Be aware that they did not include any kind of new game plus or end game content though. I recommend to go through the main game and then get the annihilation line dlc which it is a blast hands down imho.
For the most part this game is great - especially if you're a fan of the first two Terminator movies My only nitpicks are: A) it's another time travel story B) The T-800s ARE the Infiltrators though they're treated as different here C) when the Infiltrator catches up with our hero earlier in the game I wish it had said nothing at all, or just ask "Jacob Rivers?" instead of the whole "Jacob Rivers marked for termination!"(again nitpicky) D) Instead of telling us how the first protector "has to be Kyle Reese" how about being consistent with the movie, and show us that he VOLUNTEERED? Overall though it's the closest we'll ever have to seeing a proper Terminator 3....
For D) I always interpreted that as Connor knows Kyle Reese is going to volunteer, his statement that it must be him was meant as "when he volunteers I must let him go, even though it'll mean he dies, otherwise it'll screw up the timeline"
A) There just cannot be a Terminator story without time travel. It's like asking for a Predator movie without Predators showing off antique hunting trophies.

When you think about it, kinda crazy that a hit Terminator game never happened on console after the movie has been around 40 years. With the right studio, a Terminator game would've been a massive hit for the longest time.
YESS this confirmed what alot of people were theorizing that the future war scene in T2 was actually the resistance pushing skynet back and we were winning the fight.
The attack had to take place as fast as possible. They moved on the TDE as soon as thry could to prevent any more units sent to the past or ut would have been over for sure. They couldn't wait til sunrise.
Very interesting.... I've always thought there should be way more focus on the war with skynet(Salvation was by far my favorite in the series), but doing it outside the main characters opens up so many story telling possibilities!
I still play this at times and bought it. The graphics to me are fine and the story works and respects the franchises original story. Obviously veing t1 and t2. If i owned a gaming industry id want games like this. I gave it a 9/10.
This game nails the atmosphere of the Terminator movies. It’s so dark, imposing and scary, at times! This is how you make a game based on a movie franchise! Their Robocop game is just as impressive! I’d love to see an Aliens game from them too!
Look cool but that aerial hunter killers loosing control animation before crashing need some retouch. The thing does 2160 degrees before crashing. Seems unreal At 12:56 and 14:42. The one at 21:37 is perfect.
It's rough. Could use some sound rework. Visually, it's good. Animations are solid enough. Terminators are hard to put down. Definitely looks very straightforward. All and all looks like a fun, quick game to play.
An open world Far Cry/Mercenaries type of Terminator game would be fuckin awesome. Have different factions you could join/be friendly with and do missions for, have an online type of sandbox mode with missions. Would be awesome.
This looks promising, seeing Terminator 2 was mind blowing for me. I hope there are mods for this to improve the human NPC's stiffness & unrealistic movements. I hope to get this some day.
As a terminator fan of part 1 & 2 this terminator resistance game is awesome, i beat the game. The only feature i wish it had is online gameplay but it doesn't.

😂 OMG! Look at the HK Tank! The movies made it look so large, but that thing is a freaking beast! If Skynet used those the war would’ve ended where it started. What a terrifying concept. 😮
The problem was how many resources went into making those tanks. If two humans(Reese and Ferro) are able to take them down consistently, Skynet's fighting a losing battle. Few people realize this, and how dependent Skynet was on indiscriminate slaughter. Sure, it had the upper hand initially, but the strain of keeping up would have broken the machines first.
was so bummed when i found out the UEVR mod doesnt work right with resistance.......the visuals in this game are better than alot of AAA games.....i wanna play this in VR so bad
I have always wondered how the humans got their food and water in the Terminator universe because everything is blown to bits, nothing grows, radiation everywhere, poisoned water etc.
the Terminator background music is one of a kind, nothing comes close . . . not even after 36 yrs . . . by the way the animated graphics could have been more realistic . . . especially the explosions & drones crash into the ground . . .

It’s pretty basic in terms of shooting mechanics but it’s not bad by any means. As a lifelong fan of the first two movies, they fucking nailed it.
Isolation is far superior but this game is fun. If they made this game play like isolation it would have been way better then isolation.

Has anyone ever done a story about what happened after Skynet was destroyed ? I'd like to see more explored about how humanity rebuilt after the war.

X-Men Age of Apocalyse crossover with Terminator would be EPIC. Can imagine X-Men attacking Skynet.
If this game came out in the early 2010s, it would've probably been considered a hit, but it seemed very dated in 2020.

That’s because they’re getting hit with plasma rifles. Using regular ammo is futile in this game against Terminators.
