Teen Embarrassed by Made Up Tale of Avoiding DUI by Flirting

- Did a teen really flirt her way out of a DUI? Eighteen-year-old high school student Skyler Fluss claimed on social media that she was pulled over for drunk driving, but talked her way out of it by giving a sob story about breaking up with her boyfriend. She even said she failed a breathalyzer, and that instead of arresting her, the cop asked her out. But the sheriff’s office released bodycam footage showing what really happened - and Skyler says she’s embarrassed.
I'm suffering from second embarrassment- the police really pulled out receipts and made her look like a clown
Unfortunately Dee, the embarrassment will only provide her with Followers & Subscribers
Kids don't necessarily discern between positive and negative attention, she'll have friends asking
Her to promote their music on her page, aspiring rappers & I.G models
Basically she'll be popular with people exactly like her
We live in a twisted time..
@Tony's Whip & Parts Scene yes he did..
She NEEDS to go to Jail!!! No more white women privilege getting away with everything
She was driving drunk. Got pulled over. She was not having a tough night. Her act got her out of trouble. She didn’t blow a breathalyzer but she should have if the cop was doing his job and not going easy on a pretty girl. The video cooperates as much of the story as it debunks.

Very disgusting. I know someone who just got killed by a DUI driver.
I lost all my friends freshman year of high school. I was near black out drunk alone at midnight, at the elementary school just up the road from my house. Two cops showed up, and I told them the truth about how bad I was struggling. They poured the beer out I had in my hand, and they knew I had more in my backpack but they didn’t touch it. They took me home, and I thanked them. What this girl did was disgusting, pulling heart strings with a fake story and putting others lives in danger.
You're probably white. They always lock of Black folks.

Right that’s what I was thinking
Right? My stepsister and her friends died from drinking and driving. She was only 18. Her friend was driving and crashed into a telephone pole, they were electrocuted. All but one was able to get out of the car and he tried his best to save his friends but his ribs were broken. This was back in 2000, but I still remember at the wake, my stepmom threw herself on her daughter's casket, not wanting to let go. They were super close and that was her baby. It's certainly not something to be bragging about.

@@supreme7057 She's right. There's absolutely no benefit to drinking alcohol besides instant gratification. Drinking alcohol only does bad, and it's objectively true that many people become hooked and alcoholics. Alcohol can ruin an alcoholic and even destroy families. Alcohol can result in fat gain and many other health issues such as high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, fatty liver, and much much more. Alcohol causes many tragedies, resulting in death and serious issues. I was just watching an Inside Edition video of a man in the wedding who was drunk who was aggressing over everyone and fought policemen, then he got shot and killed and ruined the wedding. I was in a head-on collision in December from a drunk driver who swerved into my lane. The fact that this girl is out on social media and bragging about not getting a ticket while drunk driving makes me lose hope for my generation.
A ticket? She should have gotten arrested and taken off the road, a ticket is not going to keep her from killing someone. That officer didn't do his job because he suspected she was drunk and let her go because she was pretty. The girl knew this and that's why she was bragging although she exaggerated.

Definitely part of why social media can become very toxic, especially for young people. Those who enjoy posting a lot tend to create an image of themselves for their friends or the public to see, whether that is good or bad, and they try to stick to that, even if it means making something up or being over dramatic about a true story. I’m glad she got called out on it and I hope she learns from it, in a good way that she can mature from. Glad she recognized it was stupid of her but it sucks that it takes being called out on it to recognize that. I think a lot of us have done this before, overreacting a story on social media or even simply privately towards our friends. This story is particularly stupid. LOL. But I do hope we can all learn from this to a degree.
