Step 1 check leaks for a strong E2 character like e2 dan il was back in the day or E2 Acheron now, save for it for a few months , get E2s1 . Pull for some supports and sustains . Done You clear everything in 5 cycles or less
Everyone eventually loses to a Bailu and Gepard at some point and they still work fine for me personally on all endgame modes. Lynx and Gallagher is also free, and still works really well like the aforementioned units.
My reasoning : Qq + Sparkle destroys everything the game throws at you. I have a No Gacaha account and when i do Calyxes or bosses and borrow some of my friend's characters to make it faster sparkle just makes your life 10x easier, and makes any dps so much better especially someone like Qq. It skyrockets her dmg from 30k to like 100k. I reccomend pulling sustain units after that one or 2 to be safe Fuxuan aventurine and Luocha are all the best options especially Fu xuan. And the rest is up yo what you wanna play with. Noting that you can ignore sparkle in favor of DoT units but Kafka is a must in those.
This is something that I feel like I did, but never really noticed. It’s good to review this though because I’m trying to help with someone else’s account. The only issue is she just wants everything and wants to build people, so it can be hard to truly complete a unit. She has Huo Huo and Fuxuan, but she wants to level up Gallagher just because she likes him. But all you can really do is give advice and let others make the most of their account.

3:31 this shit hits like a train man, i have a 37/13.1k E0S1 Topaz, even tho i can cleary every MoC with comfort and spare cycles i am only capable to 12 star FuA related PFs... Even knowing i would be able to 40k PF easily and 0c MoC12 if i had put that same investment on Seele and meta suports i don't regret anything, in the end of the day Topaz is the character that represents me the most and i'm much happier minmaxing a Mid AF unit than using broken units such as JL/DHIL, Acheron or Seele(Ratio is the only broken unit i currently use because he is in Topaz BiS team lol) I have a WIP Serval currently sitting at 70/160 with 4pc Diver 2pc Salsotto lol, but i feel like the CR is lacking since i'm using the Genius Repose LC which already gives me enough CR alongside Diver CR for over 220 ingame CD before any buff). WE ROCK'N ROLLING PF WITH THIS ONE BOIIISSS!
I'd add that the hackerspace domain is perfect for most supports. As in addition to being fast, you want them to be TANKY, especially if their support function doesn't scale off atk. Tingyun in particular (as with most Foxian characters) gets targeted by enemies often, so added HP or def is not a waste of investment. My Sparkle also seems to attract enemy attacks, so I've made her bulky. She is the cornerstone of her teams (advancing attacks and increasing crit values), so you don't want her to die. The HP set is great for a 2 piece-2 piece with hacker and if you've chosen Blade as a DPS or Fu Xuan as support, so much the better. Best of luck guys
That is what makes the game hard. Every time they bring in a new mechanic to the game. Like making fking aventurine boss invincible and making us attack his dice instead of him and get punished if you don't get lucky. So you have to break him consistently
@@rogue5648 You just need to pull supports and 2 dps for the most part. Silver Wolf can implant weakness to Aventurine boss and break him all the same with any dps of your choice. Aventurine dice gimmick is badly designed but with resetting you can get through it and of course you can brute force with whale money as always. Ruan Mei also helps a lot with breaking enemy fast which paired with Silver Wolf is automatically easy mode breaking even for Aventurine boss. The dps is only one piece of the puzzle and with new dps like Acheron you can break enemies of all elements easily I use her even when theres no lightning weakness at all. You get Dr Ratio, Dan Heng Herta and QQ for free which can handle Imaginary, Wind, Ice and Quantum weakness which there is not many enemies that don't have one of these weaknesses. You also have standard dps like Clara, Welt and Yanqing that can help you clear. Kafka and Black Swan team comps dominate all content in the game so far as well. You could technically need more than 2 dps in Genshin like if enemy has fire and ice shields like the abyss inquistor or something that could make you use different dps instead of for instance Ganyu and Hu tao. You can clear it using them but it will be harder. Its all about the supports in Genshin as well though you don't even need to use dps you can use 4 supports and clear content.
My problem has always been I pull for enjoyment. For most the game, this has been husbando types, which are unfortunately almost always DPS (Aventurine and Loucha were blessings). Sparkle and Robin were the only two women that really caught my attention- but i lost on Sparkle and Boothill has priority over Robin. So I can just hope Sunday (or Akash if he's playable) will be good supports, and then get my ladies whenever they rerun
The game is not hard if you know what stats to get for your characters, and what relics you have to keep and discard. But if you’re F2P and don’t give any shit about new DPS’s, just pull for limited supports like Ruanmei and Sparkle then get their eidolons and lightcones, after that farm relics only for the few characters you want to focus on, do that even Physical trailblazer could carry you through MoC. I know it’s hard because of new shiny characters, but sometimes people spread their resources too much and ended up with mid builds on everyone then complain that their Jingyuan can’t fully clear anything. People worry too much about powercreep even though it’s unneeded, i cleared every MoC and pure fiction with Seele and i haven’t farm relics specifically for her since rutilant came in SU.
while this video is def helpful for people who are completely directionless i dont think anyone should rlly take what u say to heart bcz this video is kinda fundementally misleading... there are so many reasons that having this kind of mindset is really flawed ESPECIALLY for f2p players with the fact that best in slot team members can change so frequently and nobody is safe from powercreep its very much possible that a character they saved a month for ends up getting powercrept or just didnt make a big enough difference in their account. this whole video just seems to be in favor of horizontal investment, but truthfully there isn't a clearly better choice to take. if you keep your eyes set on a single character and their teams, not only is there the risk of missing out on other potentially versatile characters because they dont fit the focus characters niche, it also feels extremely boring to just be working on a single team for months when that team has high investment thresholds in order to actually sufficiently clear content (COUGH seele). the only issue is that honkai is purposefully ALWAYS shifting in meta, to prevent people from being able to have a future proof account and keep them spending and distracting them with new characters. i personally think its much better to look toward characters that have extreme versatility and are staples of team comps like ruan mei and working with what you can do rather than just making one or two teams really good. you could have an absolutely amazing dan heng team but in pure fiction hes completely irrelevant, and i know for sure honkai is going to keep making new content to require people to come up with new strategies and team comps. there is no one fail safe meta team as far as I know
The meta is sort of shifting, but really if you have decent investment and the right elements you can win with just about anyone. This mindset of building 2 teams works mostly fine for Memory of Chaos. You do want versatile units, but if you focus on everybody then you’re really just focusing on no one. There needs to be a balance. For example, Tingyun could possibly be power crept way in the future, but for now you can use her perfectly fine for your Daniel. She is one of his best in slots, but she’s also versatile for more memory of chaos oriented content and other teams. Sure you don’t necessarily need her in pure fiction, but you can’t win them all sometimes.
I agree with what you said but calling this video ‘misleading’ is a bit harsh 🥲 This is more-so a guide so people can play who they want and still comfortably clear content (which is why i emphasised that you shouldn’t be pressured to get chars you don’t like) I did also mention that people should try and keep track of newer releases and how they may be new BIS supports. But even if chars do get powercrept, they don’t just become useless, you can still clear.
@@natsan18 i feel like as a guide video while it does teach the viewer what to do it really only shows too much of one side. if this video is directed toward newer players, then you have to acknowledge that a lot of the time they will put absolute faith in what they learn because they havent truly had the time to learn the values of the game and just need somewhere to go, which is why it becomes misleading when you put so much focus on building one or two teams because chances are theyre going to stick to that until they realize that being able to recognize what is favored and what is not in the meta is also just as important. believing one or two teams will comfortably get you through the game unfortunately doesnt seem like its going to be up to standard anymore as honkai has now created an MOC that you absolutely will struggle on if you dont follow the playstyle it rewards. Acheron's damage is crazy, and in just about everything else she has no effort solving but sooo many people have given up on the current MOC even with her because her playstyle doesn't align enough with the MOC resonance thing to actually be able to clear it. Ive seen lots more success from people who instead just bring characters like clara and misha who fit with what the MOC damage scaling thing is, and their damage is probably nowhere near as high as acherons can get--but thats just why--honkai is trying to stop the idea of brute forcing content indirectly because acheron is just so busted and they probably dont want her to just be used for everything 😭. this is ABSOLUTELY a new development and speculation just based off the new MOC but mark my words hsr is definately going to keep up with this trend to stop people from having so called teams that can "clear everything"
you still able to clear pure fiction bare minimum tho. like 25k-30k is doable and it is the bare minimum. also herta exist, she is easy to build, can fit into any team comps in pf and she can destroy the other half and get more than 35k, which is enough for the maximum rewards. there is no need to reach 80k every run tho.
help plz, my only sustain is aventurine e0s0, my second team cannot survive MOC using gepard, is there a future sustain that is better than fu xuan in the leaks?

@@jiroo.0 his role is the same as Pela or Silverwolf and he's a nihility unit. It's similar to saying that Huohuo can substitute for a harmony unit, which isn't true at all. At most, Jiaoqiu's healing will help you negate the fact that Aventurine teams have absolutely no heal in the team.

This Jing Yuan/DHIL example hit me way harder that it should've... I was in exact same situation, until I've started using different damage dealers, like Jingliu or Dr Ratio. I can make do with DHIL using Ruan Mei + Hanya, but it doesn't feel as good as his premium team, especially without E4 Hanya.

Tbh, there’s so much opportunity. Like I wanna drive a point home, I have Ratio and Clara, if I pull Topaz, that’s a great team. If I lose the 50/50, Boothill is pretty awesome. I already have 200 tickets, so it’s like, anything above the 180 I need for guaranteed Firefly is comfortably going to random units here and there.
I love Zy0x, he's one of the main reasons I started youtube and the only streamer I still watch. From what i've seen he dosen't have guides on every HSR character tho. If this was Genshin specific, i would only suggest zy0x.

nah I think the most important part of this is to actually spend money (which many, including me, can't or won't), and even if it's all 4 stars, you still need to actually get those. Also, I doubt every single DPS unit can clear everything- all in honesty- a lot of it is about elements, at least for PF and MOC. You did say hunt would struggle with PF, which is true, but so would a lot of destruction units UNLESS you just have the correct units to make them not struggle, and the majority of those are 5*s... Point is this doesn't work nearly as well for f2ps, but still is definitely a helpful simple guide for people a bit confused on this whole subject. Also, uh... just so you know, a lot of people (including me) have the worst luck known to man when it comes to relic farming, so that might take a while. Of course, not trying to hate at all. This is a really well put together video with completely valid points, it's just that it is a lot harder to do as a f2p.
Rule of thumb for hoyoverse games and just gacha in general is f2p is always doable, just takes longer. You have the least amount of resources compared to even people who do subscriptions (battle pass and welkin) so it is just going to take a while. I think 95% of characters are capable of clearing all the content at high investment but the worse they are in the meta the better your artifacts and team comp needs to be. Another point is being smart in what characters to pull for. This is most prevalent with sustain currently imo. While galagher, fire TB and lynx all are usable and galagher is pretty good, FX, aventurine and huohuo kinda just outclass them in every way and staying alive is step number 1 for most accounts. Saving gems for future proof sustain characters like FX and aventurine just makes the endgame feel much more comfortable. Better sustain = less dependency on dmg to clear before dying

I'm a new player that started playing 3 months ago but i did have an easier time understanding things due to playing Genshin (been playing for 3 years in) and Honkai Impact 3rd (been playing for 2 years). I already choose my two dps who are Acheron (with her signature lightcone) and Jingliu. Now im trying to get supports for them as i currently completed 5 floors of the MoC with full stars, but can only full star the first stage of pure fiction and fall one short on the second stage (and i still need to farm better relics lol). I have Acheron + her lightcone, Jingliu, E1 Welt, Bronya, the free Dr. Ratio, Bailu and just pulled Aventurine a few hours ago. The teams i've been running so far is Acheron, E4 Pela, E1 Welt & E2 Gallagher for the first team and Jingliu, Bronya, Lynx & Fire Trailblazer for the second team. Im going to change my teams around for Aventurine. Also, what are some other good supports i should pull or look out for?
I’m on MoC 11 but I can’t get a three star clear, my Acheron team does fantastic but my DHIL team is suffering. My tingyun keeps getting one shot but I think getting her to level 80 instead of 70 would fix this, but my DHIL isn’t doing the damage I want him to be, he does 200k skills but it only scratches the bosses health bar and I don’t know why
Am an OG Dhil main and an Acheron main and if you used Dhil in floor 11 with bronya if you optimise well you can get like minimum 4cycles lemme know your team comps
This applies to new characters when they get drip marketed. The devs Honkai Star Rail says they don't mind about the character's kit leaks which is somewhat good to hear. It is okay to look into character leaks to see what materials they need and to see if you fond yourself liking them. Then that way you have weeks to farm ahead if you choose to pull for them. This was my case for both Aventurine and Acheron. It feels great to use them the day their banner releases.
I have a similar Acheron team and my other dps is Ratio with RM and unfortunately E1S1 Bronya. I could go for JL since I have the perfect team but looking at test server stream the enemies are fire, lightning, physical and imaginary with heavy emphasis on breaking. This makes JL redundant. This is a hidden step for consideration I would say.

That really also depends on what sustains you have as well, if you don’t have any premium 5 star sustains like HuoHuo, Fu, or Aven, you should prioritize them. Other than that, RM is pretty much always going to be good in any team composition so my vote goes to her, but at the same time we still barely have any clue on how strong Firefly will be, so you still have plenty of time to decide.
Tbh if you are using aventurine, welt doesn't provide much value(just his bit of damage). You can use him with gui tho. He's a really good sustain. Or maybe you can use acheron, pela, guinaifen and fire mc with lc for sustain(specially if there are multiple enemies)

the only issue is that honkai is purposefully ALWAYS shifting in meta, to prevent people from being able to have a future proof account and keep them spending and distracting them with new characters. i personally think its much better to look toward characters that have extreme versatility and are staples of team comps like ruan mei and working with what you can do rather than just making one or two teams really good. you could have an absolutely amazing dan heng team but in pure fiction hes completely irrelevant, and i know for sure honkai is going to keep making new content to require people to come up with new strategies and team comps. there is no one fail safe meta team as far as I know
The meta is sort of shifting, but really if you have decent investment and the right elements you can win with just about anyone. This mindset of building 2 teams works mostly fine for Memory of Chaos. You do want versatile units, but if you focus on everybody then you’re really just focusing on no one. There needs to be a balance. For example, Tingyun could possibly be power crept way in the future, but for now you can use her perfectly fine for your Daniel. She is one of his best in slots, but she’s also versatile for more memory of chaos oriented content and other teams. Sure you don’t necessarily need her in pure fiction, but you can’t win them all sometimes.

This is more-so a guide so people can play who they want and still comfortably clear content (which is why i emphasised that you shouldn’t be pressured to get chars you don’t like)
I did also mention that people should try and keep track of newer releases and how they may be new BIS supports. But even if chars do get powercrept, they don’t just become useless, you can still clear.
@@natsan18 i feel like as a guide video while it does teach the viewer what to do it really only shows too much of one side. if this video is directed toward newer players, then you have to acknowledge that a lot of the time they will put absolute faith in what they learn because they havent truly had the time to learn the values of the game and just need somewhere to go, which is why it becomes misleading when you put so much focus on building one or two teams because chances are theyre going to stick to that until they realize that being able to recognize what is favored and what is not in the meta is also just as important. believing one or two teams will comfortably get you through the game unfortunately doesnt seem like its going to be up to standard anymore as honkai has now created an MOC that you absolutely will struggle on if you dont follow the playstyle it rewards. Acheron's damage is crazy, and in just about everything else she has no effort solving but sooo many people have given up on the current MOC even with her because her playstyle doesn't align enough with the MOC resonance thing to actually be able to clear it. Ive seen lots more success from people who instead just bring characters like clara and misha who fit with what the MOC damage scaling thing is, and their damage is probably nowhere near as high as acherons can get--but thats just why--honkai is trying to stop the idea of brute forcing content indirectly because acheron is just so busted and they probably dont want her to just be used for everything 😭. this is ABSOLUTELY a new development and speculation just based off the new MOC but mark my words hsr is definately going to keep up with this trend to stop people from having so called teams that can "clear everything"
you still able to clear pure fiction bare minimum tho. like 25k-30k is doable and it is the bare minimum. also herta exist, she is easy to build, can fit into any team comps in pf and she can destroy the other half and get more than 35k, which is enough for the maximum rewards. there is no need to reach 80k every run tho.

@@jiroo.0 his role is the same as Pela or Silverwolf and he's a nihility unit. It's similar to saying that Huohuo can substitute for a harmony unit, which isn't true at all. At most, Jiaoqiu's healing will help you negate the fact that Aventurine teams have absolutely no heal in the team.

This Jing Yuan/DHIL example hit me way harder that it should've... I was in exact same situation, until I've started using different damage dealers, like Jingliu or Dr Ratio. I can make do with DHIL using Ruan Mei + Hanya, but it doesn't feel as good as his premium team, especially without E4 Hanya.
My only built dps rn are jing yuan and dhil and i do have e0s1 sparkle lol

Tbh, there’s so much opportunity. Like I wanna drive a point home, I have Ratio and Clara, if I pull Topaz, that’s a great team. If I lose the 50/50, Boothill is pretty awesome. I already have 200 tickets, so it’s like, anything above the 180 I need for guaranteed Firefly is comfortably going to random units here and there.

dont get me wrong, the second the enemy is weak to quantum, it evaporates. i got to moc 11 with 30 stars thanks to xueyi, but i underestimated how important weakness implant is. still really dont like silverwolf so i hope we just get a quantum dps that implants quantum weakness in the future similarly to boothill etc?

nah I think the most important part of this is to actually spend money (which many, including me, can't or won't), and even if it's all 4 stars, you still need to actually get those. Also, I doubt every single DPS unit can clear everything- all in honesty- a lot of it is about elements, at least for PF and MOC. You did say hunt would struggle with PF, which is true, but so would a lot of destruction units UNLESS you just have the correct units to make them not struggle, and the majority of those are 5*s...
Point is this doesn't work nearly as well for f2ps, but still is definitely a helpful simple guide for people a bit confused on this whole subject. Also, uh... just so you know, a lot of people (including me) have the worst luck known to man when it comes to relic farming, so that might take a while.
Of course, not trying to hate at all. This is a really well put together video with completely valid points, it's just that it is a lot harder to do as a f2p.
Rule of thumb for hoyoverse games and just gacha in general is f2p is always doable, just takes longer. You have the least amount of resources compared to even people who do subscriptions (battle pass and welkin) so it is just going to take a while. I think 95% of characters are capable of clearing all the content at high investment but the worse they are in the meta the better your artifacts and team comp needs to be.
Another point is being smart in what characters to pull for. This is most prevalent with sustain currently imo. While galagher, fire TB and lynx all are usable and galagher is pretty good, FX, aventurine and huohuo kinda just outclass them in every way and staying alive is step number 1 for most accounts. Saving gems for future proof sustain characters like FX and aventurine just makes the endgame feel much more comfortable. Better sustain = less dependency on dmg to clear before dying

Nice video/advice. I'm a new player that started playing 3 months ago but i did have an easier time understanding things due to playing Genshin (been playing for 3 years in) and Honkai Impact 3rd (been playing for 2 years). I already choose my two dps who are Acheron (with her signature lightcone) and Jingliu. Now im trying to get supports for them as i currently completed 5 floors of the MoC with full stars, but can only full star the first stage of pure fiction and fall one short on the second stage (and i still need to farm better relics lol).
I have Acheron + her lightcone, Jingliu, E1 Welt, Bronya, the free Dr. Ratio, Bailu and just pulled Aventurine a few hours ago. The teams i've been running so far is Acheron, E4 Pela, E1 Welt & E2 Gallagher for the first team and Jingliu, Bronya, Lynx & Fire Trailblazer for the second team. Im going to change my teams around for Aventurine. Also, what are some other good supports i should pull or look out for?
I’m on MoC 11 but I can’t get a three star clear, my Acheron team does fantastic but my DHIL team is suffering. My tingyun keeps getting one shot but I think getting her to level 80 instead of 70 would fix this, but my DHIL isn’t doing the damage I want him to be, he does 200k skills but it only scratches the bosses health bar and I don’t know why
Am an OG Dhil main and an Acheron main and if you used Dhil in floor 11 with bronya if you optimise well you can get like minimum 4cycles lemme know your team comps

I would use Dr Ratio actually for the side with Bronya. I did it with Dr Ratio, Pela, Tingyun and Gepard.

This applies to new characters when they get drip marketed. The devs Honkai Star Rail says they don't mind about the character's kit leaks which is somewhat good to hear. It is okay to look into character leaks to see what materials they need and to see if you fond yourself liking them. Then that way you have weeks to farm ahead if you choose to pull for them.
This was my case for both Aventurine and Acheron. It feels great to use them the day their banner releases.
I have a similar Acheron team and my other dps is Ratio with RM and unfortunately E1S1 Bronya. I could go for JL since I have the perfect team but looking at test server stream the enemies are fire, lightning, physical and imaginary with heavy emphasis on breaking. This makes JL redundant. This is a hidden step for consideration I would say.

That really also depends on what sustains you have as well, if you don’t have any premium 5 star sustains like HuoHuo, Fu, or Aven, you should prioritize them. Other than that, RM is pretty much always going to be good in any team composition so my vote goes to her, but at the same time we still barely have any clue on how strong Firefly will be, so you still have plenty of time to decide.

Tbh if you are using aventurine, welt doesn't provide much value(just his bit of damage). You can use him with gui tho. He's a really good sustain. Or maybe you can use acheron, pela, guinaifen and fire mc with lc for sustain(specially if there are multiple enemies)
