If it wasn't for your inner child I would have never found mine. You gave me permission to be myself...and I am not fancy or perfect but I enjoy my time in my books everyday...and yes, I have been here for awhile and you absolutely have increased in confidence and contentment with you own way and it is inspiring! Childlike is better than childish!
I love this comment! I do think that journaling, especially collage journaling and whatever kind i want to do has definitely helped me develop an inner sense of who I am. I just realized that when I read your comment. Thank you!
I'm gonna be honest here, so please hear me out cause I mean this sincerely. I've come across your videos here and there for years now, always curious about the latest notebooks, but honestly never cared too much for the rest of the content in the video. I'm not too sure why, maybe it just didn't connect with me too much. But this video, did something to me and I'm thankful for it. I had you playing in the background while I was doing my own journalling and just listening. What you talked about here is podcast level and it hit me in a way that connected deep. You are such a positive and sweet hearted person and I genuinely hear it when you speak, never easily discouraged by the negativity that life throws at you, always prepared to make amazing art from it. You have turned my views around and I couldn't have been more happy to subscribe because of a video. Thank you for this video and your unconditional gift of love and energy that you bring to this platform. And most of all for bringing a new light to a part of me that otherwise felt like a dark corner of my mind. You turned a pointless negativity in my mind, into a positive with nothing more than your kindnesses. ❤😊
You brought me to tears...but in a good way. I was thinking that my life was so empty with nothing worth writing about, but you showed me that it isn't and how to think differently, so...thank you for your teachings ma'am. You made me think differently and I am grateful for that. Wishing you the very best of everything 💚🤍
You are such an authentic inspirational force! Love how you prioritize encouraging your viewers to just create and just be in their journals! Thank you so very much for everything you do!!!
I just finally bought a Twsbi diamond 580 in sunset yellow. It’s my first Twsbi- I have to say it’s kind of messy. I get ink on my fingers anytime I use it. There always ink dots in the cap. I’m kind of bummed!
I agree about creating like a child. When people say something is childish/chlid-like, I always see it as a compliment and think “thank goodness I am connected to my inner child”, the world is so much more wonderful this way!
I take all social media comments with a grain of salt. I once had a comment from someone saying that my journal spread was too chaotic, too random. The same exact person commented in a newer post saying my journal is too simple and boring LOL like people have problems and you can just tell they project their insecurities onto others who are just trying to share their hobby and passions.
I love your flip through of your journals. I keep telling myself that my journal doesn’t have to be perfect or clean/neat. Making mistakes or making it messy is okay. You’re such an inspiration!
I’ve been a long time subscriber and I can tell you right now, seeing your handwriting was so freeing. I have always been really self conscious of my handwriting and seeing someone else not have “perfect” spreads was so nice. It makes me feel like what I create is still worthy somehow ❤
I love your approach and attitude. Do what is good for you! “Ain’t no body got time for that”…not showing your authentic self and letting your inner child shine. ❣️✨
You've been such a great inspiration to just do my own thing and enjoy the process. I do sometimes get caught up in what everyone else is doing and then I have a little journal sesh and work out my brain. Thanks for keeping it real 🫶✌️
Aww, I’m so happy to hear that!💗It’s so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing, but I love that you’ve found a way to center yourself. That’s exactly what it’s all about-doing your own thing, enjoying the process, and letting go of those outside pressures. Thank you for being here! Keep embracing your own journey, and never forget to have fun with it! 🫶
I bought many from Amazon. I have scored some great deals. I am waiting for 2 hardcover dailies now but I tested 2 different notebooks and they are both unicorns. Update: I found before I tested my products that the planners have better quality paper than the expanded notebooks. This came to be true after I tested them with my ink..the planner did excellent better than the expanded notebook. Also the planners have the square and the notebook has the 4 little squares.
I love your journal. This is exactly what I do - I don't want to memorialize how many loads of laundry I did or all my grocery lists for the year, so that type of planning is always digital (and deletable!) for me. On paper it's ideas, reflections, reviews, poem drafts, art, collage, souvenirs, notes to self, quotes, experiments, projects, memories, collections, etc.
I think that is a brilliant solution to combine them at the end of the year. I love your creativity and style and thank you for not changing for the haters and always being true to you.
You are allowed to be yourself in your journals and that's the best thing 💕 I love the journal pages the best when I just play around and don't think or try to draw something pretty. When I don't want to write, I use my sketchbook and do whatever that reflect a feeling or my current mood 😊
Oooh girl. You're missing out on the Estie. Load that thing up!! It's a beautiful pen. I have three pens always in rotation. Laban 325, TWSBI Diamond 580, Esterbrook Estie. I have multiples of all of them. Hashtag No Self-Control. The Estie is WONDERFUL. I'm still finding inconsistencies in Moleskine despite their markings. It's like buying a blind box. At first I was mad, but now I am enjoying the "lottery". LOL
Thanks so much for including timestamps! I was listening to this as I did my morning chores, and it was so easy to scroll back so I didn't miss seeing your cute new mug! Love your videos and your sweet spirit! Hope you have a great week. ❤
Love your authentic style. 💛 Im here to enjoy individual style, and everyone seems to be mimicking a handful of creators. Frankly, it's getting a bit dull to watch.
I’m a lefty so relegated to ball points otherwise I smear everything. Glad you enjoyed us here in the south. I’m enjoying seeing how you break in your journals. You’ve inspired me to start putting stickers on mine and I love it.
i think maybe Lamy Safari makes also a leftie nib.... also da vinci may have been a leftie. many many excellent draughtsmen are. sorry for this passionate, long reply all the way from italy, about something that is not my business....but, it is mandatory even for lefty children the fountain pen in school in many countries (which may be why lamy makes one; it's a school children's pen originally)... that said, i am a visual artist and i Love my bic ballpoint pens! but, i only wanted to say that there are lefty nibs and quick drying inks for creative lefties, if you ever want to try them...✨
Omg!!! Walmart here I come!!! I am in this with you friend! Team Molskine! 🎉 I was at Barnes and Noble and the one I went to hardly had any!! I was so sad. Yay for Walmart! 🎉
I’ve always loved your channel and journaling because it’s you! You do it for yourself and part of that is you want to share your love and passion for journaling ❤ An artist friend of mine says if you love to do art, sketching or whatever then your an artist 🎉 Never be judgemental as to that person they love art. You are a passionate journalist and why would I judge I learn from you and expand my love of journaling ❤
This truly warms my heart, P! Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥹❤Your artist friend is so right! If you love creating, then you’re already an artist. It’s all about embracing what you love and letting it flow without judgment. The fact that you find inspiration here and are expanding your own journaling journey means the world to me. We’re all just here to learn from each other and celebrate our creativity, no matter what form it takes. Thank you for being part of this journey with me! 💕
Thank you for all the inspiration! Your videos really helped me let go of my own perfectionism that was holding me back and just create art that is more true to myself. I think people love and appreciate your authenticity. 💕💕
It is unfortunate that people have to criticize others when they don't know the other persons journey. Your drawings and writings are an inspiration to those of us who just want to express ourselves,
I found a 24-25 daily at TJ Maxx for $9!!!! So I definitely got it! Then I found another daily 2024 one at Marshall’s for $8 so I got that and cut it down to standard size! And there was a notebook there for $4 too I picked up. What a haul! ❤
Your art journal looks like a mood journal to me.. it is personal and maybe not museum worthy but it is very expressive and sort of mirrors where you were in a particular point in time. I used to have "diaries" of this kind when I was younger and it was wonderful to have a place to get my mood out if you will. I used to have conversations with myself in my books but it didn't have to even make sense; and when words were becoming meaningless I would start arting. İt was extremely therapeutic. And I agree with you: it does not have to be a daily practice but it's there when you need it. I still do a form of that but it is much more 'wordy' now 😊 I should put out my paints and markers so I remember using them again
Wooo hooo! No complaints from me as I loved being able to spend extra long time with you today! I'll probably rewatch at some point because I was mostly listening while cleaning but want to see what you shared in your journals. Last time I went to Walmart, which was a couple months ago, there were no Moleskines. I'm new to journaling and getting into the different brand names so I haven't tried them all. You said a certain notebook would find you and for me I just so happened to start messing with a pocket sized Leuchtturm 1917 notebook just before I found you. It hooked me. I keep it in my pocket book for something to look at when having anxiety in public places. I am using a softcover plain large Moleskine as a planner. A Midori A4 as a reading journal. A Mead notebook as a prayer/scripture journal. Moleskine expanded as something just to throw anything into - mostly positive vibes. A hard cover Paperage to hash out my darker feelings (gotta say that paper seems really good). Cheap Moleskine pocket softcover- thanks to you- as a daily journal. A large hardcover lined Moleskine for my longer journal entries. Also influenced by you I needed up getting a Moterm and Traveler's notebook. I think they are awesome but I haven't used them much yet. Thanks for bringing us on a wee trip. Love when you do that.
Aww, thank you so much for watching, even if it is a longer video! I love that you found your way to journaling with that pocket-sized Leuchtturm, especially since it brings you comfort when you’re out and about. I totally get that! And I’m so happy to hear about your various notebook systems and lineup. Love it!~ It’s all about finding what speaks to you. Thank you for being here! 😊
looking at your journals is very inspiring. I didn't use a journal at all this year - perhaps I'll decide to be brave enough now to get a planner or something for 2025 - note my schedule and let myself be messy on the other pages.
Love all your creative tips and encouragement to be free when when journaling - allowing our true self to spill onto the paper. Perfection is not the objective (preaching to myself). Also to Walmart I go tomorrow to check the stationery section. ✅
This is such a great video! I love it - what you are discussing is giving energizing inspiration and motivating to just create! I agree that there's no ONE way but truly, everyone has their own way of "journaling". My style is more of collaging and quotes or special stuff I come across and stuff I cut out (again, collaging haha).
thank you so much! I’m happy that this video brought you some inspiration and motivation to create💖I completely agree! There’s no one “right” way to journal. It’s all about making it your OWN! I love the sound of your style, especially all that collaging and collecting bits of inspiration along the way. Keep embracing your unique journaling journey, and thank you for sharing it with me! 😊
Oh lord an hour long of planner goodness!! Just set up my first expanded to be my journal for the final dark months of 2024 and hope to get the habit going in 2025 😁 (I’m hopeful 🙈)
Exactly what I am doing next year. Only I use XL Cahiers (but I cut them 138 mm. wide). I actually am stitching a cover for them as we speak. I was watching your video while I assembled the dear.
I love the concept of creative vomit.Just throwing out whatever comes to mind at the moment!I have started using packaging and stuff on my notebook covers!I also have to word vomit for mental health issues. As I started reading a book from 2012 I was mortified by some of my writing(it had to do with abuse).I think we get caught up in wanting things to look social media perfect, but life can sometimes be messy.I love how you want to have your privacy in your social media platforms, yet you're also willing to share!!It has helped me in some of my personal creativity!!
I noticed that me and my ADHD/Autism friends enjoy colours and cute happy things. And perhaps a neuro typical 🧠 doesn't see things the same way ? I mean we wired differently. But like lets be nice and play along well with each other. I dont understand negative or rude comments. ❤
Hi, you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. These journals are done by you as an outlet for your creativity. I am quite a bit older than you and I am a point in my life where I don't really care what others think of what I do. I sing out loud in my car when a good song plays on the radio - don't care if anyone sees or hears. It makes me happy. That is the key to anything, if it makes you happy, no one has the right to judge!!!
Not a show pony 🐎😂 I love that. And same.. I want to enjoy my hobby and interests and hold them dear to me. Vs making a layout for the purpose of social media. I dont mind sharing but not everything 😂
Sadly my Walmart doesn’t have Moleskine, but that might be a good thing. I’ve enjoyed the Moleskine decoding, very helpful for me. You are so right about the south! I’m a southern girl and we stop and shoot the breeze in any store or restaurant we are in. We visited the New England states and people looked at us like we had two heads! I did keep trying to get people to just chit chat and it didn’t work. I had to repeat myself often due to my southern accent. 😂
My walmart was late to get the new Moleskine stand here. So maybe it takes a while based on location? Hmmm... But, yes! Ya'll southerners are so fun and friendly!! Hoping to visit more of the area next year. Don't get me started on the food!!
Hello Beautiful Friend 👧OMG< i had to look twice at your intro into Walmart. We have three within a reasonable distance of each and none of them look as nicely lite and organized as yours. Wondering if your Walmart is a "test" store for intro of new products; none of ours has Moleskine and the school/business supplies are always so messy and out of order. Thank you for showing your flips of your journals. Love that they are so spontaneous, creative, colorful, and inspirational in sharing your thoughts. Yes, embrace your inner child LOVE IT! and pay no mind to those that are closed minded be\c we LOVE and EMBRACE all your share to help us feel better and get some of us through tough times. LOVE that Witch pen! If you should consider selling it, please keep me in mind. Sending lots of love always xoxo, Cynthia 💕🖋📓✍🌹🦋
Thank you for the kind worlds always, Cynthia! Okay, I’ll certainly keep you in mind should I ever decide to sell the Kaweco Little Witch fountain pen💜
Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed Alabama. I've lived here all my life and you've basically pulled me in on your moleskine train. I'm using a lot of fine point fountain pens in them. I get ghosting but that is still a do able thing for me. ❤
wish I had more time to explore more parts of it, but the little bit I did experience was fun! Happy to hear you enjoying Moleskines as well! Welcome to the club, hahaha!
I am in shock. I cannot believe how cheap these are for you. My dollar store is $4.25 for most things now. Moleskine for me is triple this price. You’re very lucky you can find these at all actually. I haven’t found an expanded blank large soft cover yet. I think the regular size was $35 or $40 on Canadian amazon
Hi there 😊 So I'm new to the idea of planning and journaling, and although I've never owned a Moleskine, I've watched a large number of your videos and have come to love them. I've recently purchased a standard size TN and was wondering if there is a soft cover expanded size Moleskine notebook (or dupe) that would fit nicely inside my standard TN. Any info you can offer up would be greatly appreciated. Btw...I LOVE all of your videos; they give me so much inspiration 😊❤️
I have seen these journals at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Not all of them. I had to go to different ones but the prices are great. I found a softcover over 400 page one on clearance for $9.99 and the ones that have less pages for $7.
I forgot to add that sometimes you won't be able to check for the quality paper because some people tear the plastic wrap it comes with but even so I think it's worth it for the price.
Hi! Can I share a tea? It’s ginger turmeric tea, preferably Trader Joe’s. It’s a lot at first, but becomes the best part of the day. It’s so good for you and can solve a stomach ache instantly. Letting it steep longer brings out the best taste in it.
@SeaweedKisses the Eco Clear. I love to see the insides of my pens. Plus the ink sloshing back and forth like one of those sea simulations that sit on a desk. Lol. I also have a yellow and blue. Fine nibs. I have a few Lamy, Keweco and and Moonman. I should downsize since I basically use the Twsbi's. I want to get the 580AL they have a ice blue that is so beautiful. But that will have to be a Christmas present to myself. 😆
My Walmart does not have a moleskin section, how lucky for you. Perhaps I’ll check a few others. Your FP collection is gorgeous. Would you please consider doing a video about your pens and ink pairings to each individual pen. I’d love a beautiful FP with bold, bright blue ink. I prefer blue to black ink. But I really like the idea of matching ink color to pen color. If you’ve already made a video about this please include the link. Also can you put a link to your beautiful Benu euphoria fp and the esterbrook honeycomb ❤
My Walmart doesn’t have a moleskine section. Target has a small section. I have tried to like Moleskin and Leuchtrum 1917 and I just can’t. I’m a spiral girl.
The difference I noticed between my moleskine with better paper was that it had the paper pamphlet in it. The one with worse paper had a QR code and info printed directly on the end pages rather than a physical pamphlet. I don’t have the sheet that goes around the book for the bad one so I can’t speak on that, but my better paper ones have the one square so idk
Hello. I noticed at the store that 3 notebooks in one package cost about $19. Looking at your earnings and standard of living, can you tell me approximately how many dinners you can cook for a family of three for $19? I am writing to you from Poland, and looking at this price and converting it into our currency, for these 3 notebooks I am able to cook dinner for my family for 4 days (and such a good dinner). Here in Poland, on average, a good notebook from a reputable company costs no more than $4. I've seen a lot of movies about Moleskines and I still don't understand what's so special about them.
I understand your desire to lighten your carrybut there's just something so charming about your fat busting at the seams journal. I think it may lose some of its charm. I've tried to switch into travelers notebooks several times but it never sticks for me.

Love all your creative tips and encouragement to be free when when journaling - allowing our true self to spill onto the paper. Perfection is not the objective (preaching to myself). Also to Walmart I go tomorrow to check the stationery section. ✅
thank you for the kind and supportive words! Hope your Walmart has the new Moleskine section!
Here to entertain your weekend! 😅
Exactly what I am doing next year. Only I use XL Cahiers (but I cut them 138 mm. wide). I actually am stitching a cover for them as we speak. I was watching your video while I assembled the dear.
Love your spontaneous style and find it inspiring and encouraging. Thanks and take care!
appreciate it, thank you! 🫶
Love love love seeing a new video from you. Thank you😊
You are *totally* inspiring me with this video. Thank you.🤎🤎🤎
that's wonderful!! So happy to hear this! ❤
I’ve been waiting for your 2025 setup reveal !
❤❤❤ how i love to watch your long videos with all information you put inside it) Thank you 🎉.
I hope you don't receive any more. Some of the things people feel free to say on social media baffles me lol
Ooohh!! That could be it! I think you're right!
I think you need to make your own notebooks. ❤ -- The quality department will love you 😂
I think you're right! 🙌
Thank you for the info on Walmart and Moleskine. I have yet to find a stationery store where I’m located. Notebook ideas are also helpful for me.
Thank you so much. You are absolutely correct ❤
Not a show pony 🐎😂 I love that. And same.. I want to enjoy my hobby and interests and hold them dear to me. Vs making a layout for the purpose of social media. I dont mind sharing but not everything 😂
exactly! you get it 😂
I enjoyed this one very much ❤
Sadly my Walmart doesn’t have Moleskine, but that might be a good thing.
@ 🤣we have a casserole for everything!
Enjoyed every minute of this video.❤
Wow, you are lucky to live in a large city. I still fall back on pen gear when I need a new notebook and don’t want to wait. lol.
You and me both! Love me some pen & gear, too!❤
I have seen these journals at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
I’d just stay in the H. Weeks for weekly. Love the modified Galen Leather TN idea.
If u film the customizations u make for ur slim galen leather, I would love to see it!
sure!
Hi! Can I share a tea? It’s ginger turmeric tea, preferably Trader Joe’s. It’s a lot at first, but becomes the best part of the day. It’s so good for you and can solve a stomach ache instantly. Letting it steep longer brings out the best taste in it.
I love your content!💚
Would love to see your reading journal! I got grid expanded Large. I love it. Thinking to be my journal or reading journal❤
Perhaps I'll share more of it after I finish the year ❤
I’m sure you’ve been asked but where did the owl pen holder come from?? I adore it!
Which Walmart are you at? I’m taking a road trip to Utah next week!!!!
southern utah, St george
Where is your desk mat from? Is it leather?
I love Twsbi! My favorite pen.
Yeeess!! Still haven’t come across a better fountain pen I love more! Which is your favorite?
I am in love with that pen holder guy you have on your desk. Is there somewhere I can find that? :)
I live in Alabama and I enjoy going to Buckee's too. I always spend about $60 on the food. I just be gathering up sandwiches.🤭🤭
My Walmart doesn’t have a moleskine section. Target has a small section. I have tried to like Moleskin and Leuchtrum 1917 and I just can’t. I’m a spiral girl.
Can't go wring with a good spiral notebook! Which is your fav? Pen & Gear?
I bought one with 8 squares and my fountain pens bled through - I give up sadly. I wanted it for my book but will find something else
The difference I noticed between my moleskine with better paper was that it had the paper pamphlet in it. The one with worse paper had a QR code and info printed directly on the end pages rather than a physical pamphlet. I don’t have the sheet that goes around the book for the bad one so I can’t speak on that, but my better paper ones have the one square so idk
oh, interesting! I'll have to look into this! thanks for sharing!
if it says legendary on the sleeve it is decent quality!
oh, I'll have to look into that theory. Thanks for sharing!
Hi can I ask where you got your cute guy holding your twsbi? PS I just ordered that pen I love twsbis 😁
❤❤
No! We don’t have an entire moleskin stand at our Walmart. No no , not here in Western Pennsylvania.
My WM does NOT have a Moleskin section😭😭😭
Pen and Gear Heavyweight paper is better and for 1.92 you cant beat it
True! such a great "bang for you buck!" Love me some Pen and Gear, too!
I understand your desire to lighten your carrybut there's just something so charming about your fat busting at the seams journal. I think it may lose some of its charm. I've tried to switch into travelers notebooks several times but it never sticks for me.
I have not seen this at my Walmart l looked for it the other day. I was so sad
My Walmart has no such area.😂😂😂
Your hands are so beautiful rolalalal ❤❤❤❤
ur haters need to get a new hobby, geez
Its because of you I bought my first fountain pen 😃 A TWSBI. And then bought a second one on fountain pen day 🫣
I live in Alabama and I enjoy going to Buckee's too. I always spend about $60 on the food. I just be gathering up sandwiches.🤭🤭
