  • At the age of seventeen he had a master plan for becoming the best known journalist in Britain. He’s been in the midst of media scandals, he’s interviewed some of the most famous celebrities and most powerful politicians in the world, and he’s judged the talents of hundreds of common folks. Arrogant, ambitious, and shameless…. so who is this media man? None other than Piers Morgan, of course…

Simon should do an episode of "Biographics" on J.K. Rowling. I personally have a lot of respect for Jo because of her philanthropy work with charities and organizations that are close to her heart. Rowling works with and donates money to organizations for single parents and also donates money for research on Multiple Sclerosis. This is because she was at one point a single mother struggling to survive on public assistance along with suffering from Depression as well as occasionally thinking of committing suicide. Her work with organizations that research Multiple Sclerosis is because she lost her mother Anne Rowling to MS in December of 1990. Jo has said that to this day her biggest regret is that she was not at her mother's side on the day her mother died.

Personally I hope to someday get my hands on a copy of Tom Felton's memoir "Beyond the Wand." Tom Felton is an extremely sweet and kind man who got pizzas for the fans who were camping out in London's Trafalgar Square for the premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two."

17 years of marriage. They were married in 1991 not 1981. If they had been married for 27 years in 2008 and he was born in 1965 that would mean that they were married at 16. That is just incorrect information.

Gossip about someone who gossips about other people. You are better than this.
People have limited time. That is why there is the concept of "important" news as oppose to gossip. While the socially disinherited flock to gossip because their perspective is that nothing really matters anyway, what I hope is the majority of people want to get news and interesting information in a condensed and unbiased form. They don't want to spend their entire leisure time reading news. Instead they hope they can make somewhat educated decisions based upon strategically picked inputs.
Also, you glossed over probably the most important and defining moment of his life -- the death of his father. How old was he at the time? How much did that define his inner emptiness that drives him to be "the top journalist in Britain"? How much did that corrupt his moral judgements into believing that being seen was the most important aspect of life? Did that create his need to exploit the hardships of others?

Simon, first of your “Biographics” I’ve seen. I can say, with firm conviction, it absolutely meets, in fact, EXCEEDS all expectations I have from “Today I Learned” and “TopTenz”! I am conflicted on your backdrop. It give a slightly scholarly look adds some weight to what you say, but anyone familiar with your work already knows you to be a straightforward speaker of the Truth. If you are going to stay with it. Might I suggest some books, possibly a bookshelf, maybe 3 empty white, 3-4”, binders. Each with an insert into their spine a piece of paper labeling them Unity hard copy Wikipedia or each one with, “The Collected Truths Of....”, with subjects ranging from the Illuminati, Free Masons, Area 51, DARPA 1958-, you know, not quite inflammatory, but for those mentioned, unsettling. Perhaps posters with famous people and quotes they have made. Mister Rogers, “Love begins with Listening”, Albert Einstein, “Try not to be a man of success, rather try to become a man of value.” Or “The true sign of intelligence is NOT knowledge bot imagination.” Or, and the one goes out to 45, “Whoever is careless with the Truth in small matters CANNOT be trusted with important matters.” Or “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceed our humanity.” Last Al, “Great Spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.” Do you have a P.O. Box?!!? Oliver Cromwell, “He who stops being better stops being good.”
