Good to watch how you go about fixing these wee treasures M.C. ... I have a couple of old 'uns I'd love to pass to you for tlc but it's too bloody far from NZ & too much paperwork to even consider - so I'll have to get stuck-in myself and be patient.

So glad I haven’t gotten a pistol to fix with a double duty spring yet lol, if I had a problem with the spring wandering sideways I would of built up the channel walls slightly with the migwelder and file square to help the spring stay put , but that would most likely cause another issue, it’s crazy how everything has to work in unison, modify one part and it affects everything else , sit there with hours and hours tweaking things

I have a terzerol with one barrel and it is missing the spring. Do you think that it is possible to make a custom one. On mine you have to attatch the spring to a notch that slides through a hole in the spring.

Do you have American taps and machine screws? Just another option to match up to old non standard threads.

Yes, I've got, imperial taps etc., but I find metric easier to work with.
