@camryTRD1 The basics may be the same. What you want to do is,remove the hardware and trim bezels that help to hold the door panel on. When all of that has been removed then you can take a putty knife and remove the door panel from the door. Hope this helps.
@twsbbl Some cars are easier than others when this happens. You would need to remove any screws holding the door panel to the door. Then use your putty knife or door panel removal tool to remove the door panel pins from the door. If it's easier to start from the top, you may want to do that. Hope this helps you out.

The MAIN question I have though for you is that I wanted to know if I peel off my door panel, can I use the same clips? Or is there any way of preventing damage to the panel? If you're careful with removing them you can reuse the door panel clips. If you break a couple you can usually get new ones from the dealer. Here's a quandary for you - 97 corolla, power locks, rear driver side door locked, and stuck in lock position. I can hear the solenoid in the door, so I guess it's fine, just a ceased or misaligned rod toward the back. I believe the child lock is engaged on that door as well. Problem is, I can't figure how to get the door panel off while the door is closed, and I obviously cannot open the door until I get it unlocked. Any tricks?
Heads up I didn't see in the video in my car there was a rivet that needed to be removed, push in the center of the rivet and then pry it out. I sheared mine off.

My boyfriend recently fixed my window on my 94 toyota corolla (looks identical to the one in the video), but while he was doing so, he took the very top darker part off that stretches around the top and tucks down into the window and around the lock that moves up and down. He can't figure out how to put it back into the door. Watching your video here, you don't even touch that part, so it seems like it's not meant to be taken off at all. I was wondering if it's something I need to have replaced or if it can be salvaged. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time, Allyssa
