- Today I felt like getting my gushy nerd on and talking about spacey things in this GORGEOUS simulator. I hope you feel smol by the end of this video!
I am unsure about how many people will find this very interesting (especially to the extent that I do), but I thought I'd just show it off for those who are interested! This sim is definitely for you.
In other news, I'm glad you wonderful people have been so supportive of me branching out and trying other things. It fills me with glee n.n

Despite how small we are compared to the universe. We are on the larger end of things. We may not be as big as planets or even an elephant but, there are much more smaller things than us than there are larger.

There is just something so satisfying about watching someone make a video on something they TRULY love and TRULY are interested in, and just hearing the glee in their voice, TBH I could watch these kinds of videos over and over again. Happy to see you so damn full of happiness Batesee.

Sometimes I just end up thinking about space. I end up just thinking of how there are different levels there, like we have our minds all on what's happening here, and it feels so big. Just across countries are long for us, but then there's our entire solar system... Many planets so many times bigger than our home, so much space in between. But then, there's outside of that. Outside of our solar system, outside of what we can see, or even think about. What's out there? What could there be? There's probably living things out there, somewhere, but... Where? Where are they, how advanced are they... Will we ever see them? Just imagining how far it all goes, can it ever end, and if there's something at the end... I dunno how to explain it, how to show...
Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but hopefully I got some thoughts out, clearly.

... And it's amazing how we are able to exist, so much luck in how we were perfectly created to exist how we do... And I wonder if there's that much chance for anything anywhere else... And we're still so tiny, agh, I can't get over that!

I'm not joking. I've watched this video so many times now. Each time leaving me speechless and so overwhelmingly content... I wouldn't put this lightly: I actually for a very long second was nearly convinced that I didn't exist anymore. And a massive part of myself was okay with that notion.

Just a few things to note:
When Andromeda and the Milky Way crash into each other, it is HIGHLY unlikely that they will touch. The black holes will most likely merge, but all of the planets and stars and nebulas will probably not touch each other, given the massive distance between them. It will probably be the same on those planets as it would be any other millions of years. Besides the super laser lightshow.
There are different types of stars, which are at different temperatures. Stars such as our own is much hotter than one that is smaller, typically. Though, smaller stars(If they can innact fusion within their core) can last for trillions of years. The star you clicked on(Proxima Centauri), which you titled as old(Because of its temperature) is actually younger(in comparison to how long it will live) than our own sun. When out sun turns into as red giant, engulfs the earth, and explodes/implodes later on, Proxima Centauri will keep on putting along.
So, pretty much, the hotter it is, the faster it burns through its fuel, the shorter its lifespan. Even those super-massive stars, that are 1000x bigger than the sun? They aren't gonna last all that long. At least, that's what I remember from ninth grade...
Also, this content is very nice. I'm probably going to watch you regardless of the content, unless you really do something bad, like upload footage of you beating a dog(A bit extreme of an example, but eh). I'm still gonna watch you if you play universe sandbox, or a horror game, or a platformer, or your shenanigans in real life... Mostly because it's fun to watch.

I love space. I love the fact that its so big that we'll never reach the end of it. We are a small speck in a small country in a small continent on a small planet in a small solar system in a small galaxy in a small cluster. It awes me how fucking HUGE the universe is. Fun to think that a super nova could wipe us out at any moment! Those explosions travel just below the speed of light. And if one is coming toward us we wont see it till the light gets here! So by the time we see it we have about 10 seconds to live! :D

I love space.And you are right, how lucky we are to have this perfect world. Sometimes I look outside with my telescope and look at things in space that some find boring. But it's not. Everyone sees me as the kind of guy who doesn't pay much attention to anything that much. But I do! Space is amazing! I wonder about space everyday. I used to want to be an astronaut. Of course, I found that I would be more useful as a doctor. But I still love space! And I know there are other lifetime out there, I just KNOW it! And space is amazing.

beginning of video Carl Sagan like speech. space fact the storm you were talking about has been raging for probably 3 centuries. another space fact Pluto is a natural satellite a.k.a moon and Pluto has many satellites and neptunian satellites around it. the farthest object around us doesn't have a orbit and is part of the broken orbit. also the most water in the galaxy is around a black hole. the earth is constantly getting closer to voyager 1. the giant cloud of debris is called the oort cloud
If you do more of these I can guarantee you that I will enjoy it. I love nerding out about space too!
Gimmy. Space is absolutely glorious. Black holes, white holes, worm holes even. I absolutely love tge size too. Everything eith space is just amazing. And if I could do anything, at all, I would choose to watch the universes lifespan. Watching every star be born and die. I could watch this video for hours alone, but if I got this game I woukd spend days on ened, maybe even weeks or months, just watching everything play out (and chucking giant teapots into earth). Well that's all I have, not that anyone might read all of this. Oh and batesee, our sun would expand roughly to mars then shrink down to a white dwarf, just so you know

Great video. I've taken many classes in physics and astronomy and I'm always taken back by how amazing it is we exist at all yet we are so small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. We are but a spec in the vastness of the universe. Our existence, our earth creating life, may be an anomaly that's extremely rare. So many factors had to happen to create our existence, many of which had an insanely small chance of actually happening. And yet even with all these variables coming together, we are still nothing at all in comparison to all that exists, all that is out there. It's truly awe inspiring and amazing yet also depressing. Love that you made this video. I'm right there with you being taken back by space and all that's out there. We have seen and experienced so little, perhaps 0.5% of what exists. And that's being extremely generous.

I find space comforting and fascinating. It somehow....helps me to feel safe. I don't know why. It fills me with safety and yet, fear. But it really is amazing when you think of Space. It's vast. So many things. People think they know it all when actually, there's sooo much that humans have not yet found...

its so weird to think about how small we are compared to the galaxy. Like just think about. There is 24,860 miles wide and that theres 7.5 Billion People. Just thinking about it amazes me that even though the world seems SO huge, there is still things out in the galaxy that is twice no probably THREE times the size earth is out there. There is so much things out there that we don't know of or that we do but there is not much research into it. The galaxy is just so amazing!

Words can't describe just how amazing all of this is once you start to really think about it. I can't remember who said this but there is a quote: " Once you realise how big our Universe is it's not stupid to think that there are other inteligent life forms, it is stupid to think that we are alone."
Sometimes I like to think that somewhere out there, hell knows where, at the exact same time there is an alien looking at the sky and wondering the same things I do. It is such an incredible feeling.
