- I felt like nerding out again today. Also a lot of people wanted me to, so yeh C: Let's do this.
Today, I'll be covering the Voyager spacecraft(s?), the ACTUAL biggest star we've ever found, the close fly-bys of the cooler planets aaaaaaand stuff like that! There's so much to do in this!!
However, as much as there is to do, I feel like I shouldn't do too many episodes on this. I don't wanna overwhelm you with my nerding out over everything...

As I stated in part 20, Waffle, I haven't many substantial things left to do in SCP:CB. I may livestream a Keter playthrough within the coming weeks, but for now, I'm gonna venture out to other games (which may still be SCP related).
And Battleforge uploads so frequently because he _can_ do it. He seems to be going through a real burst of creativity and efficiency; I am not quite feeling like that. If _I_ were to go 1 video a day, I'd have to cut a lot of corners in order to do that... I prefer to take my time. At least for now :)

Even if mission managers recreated the computers on the ground, reloaded the software onto the spacecraft and were able to turn the cameras back on, it is not clear that they would work. A signal from Voyager 1, traveling at the speed of light, takes 17 hours one way to reach Earth

I can't believe that this planet that we live on that seems so big and undiscovered, there's just a giant space out there that could be infinite, making our small little sphere tiny, but so very, very, special.

These types of videos are so eye-opening for me. I love these. There really needs to be more. And the way that you get so fascinated makes me smile. And with our tiny speck of a planet, it only makes it more significant because we are the only planet with life (so far).

voyager 1 is in interstellar space it moves almost 20km per hour it also is the only craft in interstellar space it takes 10 hrs to transmit a signal Voyager two will reach interstellar space in a few years Voyager 1 last remaining equipment will be almost completely deactivated next year but its power will stop around 2025-2035 if you want to see its distance live I recommended the sky live extra facts: we will never leave the the local group. a theory is that life can be propane and silicon based.

Okay, so to calculate what the whole "[number]E+10" thing means, essentially you want to shift the decimal point a number of places, depending on what the number says. Since we're talking about space, we aren't gonna bother with the negative stuff.
Example: if you had a number that said "2.084E+10", you'd shift the decimal point right about ten times, to end up with 20,480,000,000. If you had a number that said "3.96E+8", you'd shift the decimal point to the right around 8 times, to end up with 396,000,000.
E is a multiplier. It means "x10." The number following it is how many powers of 10 it is.
For instance:
1 kilometer = 1.0E+3 meters
(Because 1 km = 1000 m, the "E+3" stands for "10 to the power of 3.")
So that one part where it said, "2.07E+10 km."
Move the decimal in 2.07 over 10 times to the right. That means 2.07E+10 kilometers is equal to 2,070,000,000,000 kilometers.

We actually have not lost contact with Voyager 1 & 2... ;)
But the delay is about 19 hours to V1 and about 15 hours to V2... each way.
V1's camera was shut off in 1990 to conserve power, but not before it took the famous "Pale Blue Dot" pic, taken when V1 was about 40 AU away.
I have this game but I rarely play It because I always get bored, but when Batesee plays It, It just becomes fun.

B_8C if universe sandbox 2 allows it you should place nebulae to see how small the stars are lol little insignificant specs of light. The best part is I'm going to major into astronomy and quantum mechanics. Imma gonna be all up in this universe or multi-verse whatever works.
