And teams who finished 25-36 will be eliminated from all European competitions of that season.
New format is just about money. We’ll almost certainly end up with the same, predictable teams in the last 16 anyway, it’ll just take more games to get there now

Against a well drilled low block, slow methodical buildup takes away nearly any opps that were left over for Haaland after being heavily marked. Arsenal are going to be a problem if Pep doesn’t address this

Teams from smaller leagues, that generally end in 4th pot, benefit from the new format, because they get to play against fellow pot 4 teams and win some extra prize money. Getting extra 2.5-5M pounds might not be much to EPL team but it's a world of difference to Eastern European/Balkan club.
In the league cup, fa cup and premier league city cant give the tickets away unless liverpool, utd, or Arsenal are in town..... they need to get some money into the club for bribes etc!
