Not a huge gamer...Prefer Hack N Slash games...Into GOW, Darksiders & Resident Evil Series... It was probably overkill but it was something I just wanted to do...

I love the way 4 sticks look over 2, and the only way to really solve that was to either buy more sticks or lower the capacity and get more sticks. Do they make dummy sticks for other ram or is it just that brand?

TIP: buy the lancool 3 dust filter kit in white and you can cover the view into the bottom area without using cardboard whilst keeping the same airflow :)

As an owner of the lancool ii mesh, really great to see the various quality of life improvments made in this iteration.
Would you recommend going for this or a fractal torrent rgb, as an upgrade for a lancool ii mesh housing a 5950x+3090fe combo? Airflow/temps/thermals wise?

A question, would you reckon its possible to fit a 420 rad (like those arctic liquid freezer ones) in the front, since those look like 3*140mm stock argb fans pre-fitted there, so should have the space for it??
@@lagpi According to Lian Li's video on the Lancool 3 (it's part of their digital expo video a while back) it can fit a 420 on top, a 360 on the front, and a 360 on the power supply shroud.

Love the PC builds Ed! I agree that the bottom PSU shroud needs to have a better solution for airflow. Ventilation from the bottom of the case would have been fine as that's what the O11 Dynamic uses.
Sick build man! Btw, there should be a connector on the hub for the stock case fans that can connect to an ARGB header on the motherboard. Then you hold down the RGB button on the front I/O for about 3 seconds to get the hub to switch to mobo control. Cheers!

Having dummy sticks to take up the other slots is actually such a good idea I wish more ram had that
Hands down this is one of the greatest case if not the best. I dig the mesh on the lower part of side panels and a really cool unique way to open them. The flexibility in this case is next level. I'd actually pick this rather than the famous 011 dynamic.

Again, another great pc build Ed It came out great. I really like the crystal look on the Game Rock 3080 it looks so cool and blends with any color scheme it seems. Also its kinda crazy how you came up with such a quick fix for the gpu kit lol.

Here’s something that wasn’t mentioned in this video!! You can actually swap the front IO to the bottom of the front panel. Along with the Lian Li branding on it, it can swap to the other end as well so it isn’t upside down! This also works if you do end up having to run anything from the front IO you can plug it in and run any wires or cables underneath the case and to the back so you won’t have hideous cables sticking out the front of your case and dangling around.

This was a dope build I can’t wait to build my own one day I been practicing on my HP Envy desktop I swapped out the power supply, upgraded the nvme SSD, added a low end low profile graphics card, added 3 2.5 SSD I even took out the optical drive and used that sata port for another 2.5 SSD. This channel and a few others gave me the confidence thank you 🙏🏾
Wow, what a beautiful pc build, that gpu is awesome looking!...great job!!! I love the lian li products, I just built a 12900k pc in a white lian li 011d xl with 10 sl 120 fans and the V2 strimers. Used an asus rog strix z690e gaming wifi with corsair dom plat 64 gb ddr5 ram. Used an evga ftw3 3080ti and an msi meg coreliquid S360 AIO and 2 2tb firecuda 530 nvme ssd's and powered it with an evga supernova 1000W P2 psu. Just finished it and man it looks nice when it's all lit up. Thanks for sharing!

In your unboxing video on July 1, when you dropped that CPU, at 26:47 you had the sticker facing right at the camera. I thought it was weird when I saw it, thinking the same thing you did on why they would put a sticker there. Glad you were able to figure it out.

You won't be saying mechanical hard drives are obsolete when you try to recover data from an SSD! Overall, I would still pick the CORSAIR iCUE 7000X RGB over the Lancool III as the 7000X has a bit more room in the length, width, and height.
Really underrated and sleek case, definitely an upgrade to the lancool ii
I'd recommend making that cardboard or paper 'fix' part of the build. Just cut out your logo out from it and now light will shine through just for your logo!
Hey ed. Late to the party but you absolutely can sync the 140 stock rgb to l connect 3. I had mine synced before I changed them to infinity! Great build by the way
I hope you can help me out with this one. I was looking for a female splitter argb cables for the front fans. How did you make it work with the L Connect 3 ?

The front lights should be controllable via the argb cable that can be plugged into the motherboard, so there is some control.

They made the 140mm infinity fans in white now :)
I just built my PC the other night in the Lian Li Lancool 3! But I don't like the look of my air cooler, i regret not going AIO like I originally wanted I was scared I'd screw it up!
Now that I'm more comfortable with my PC and the workings of it (and love building/adding parts) my DeepCool LT720 360mm AIO is coming tomorrow - I can't wait to upgrade the air cooler!!
Be careful using that cooler, I've seen a lot of cases of the pump failing and making heavy coil whine

Awesome build!! I own a Lancool II Mesh and I'm happy to see the improvements.... but less than a minute into the video with that advertisement? What's your idea of a lot of rain? Let's be honest, If you live outside of Los Angeles, there's hardly a drop except for a few rainy days in the winter! lol.

i have a white themed setup in the works, currently i am operating on a laptop and i have wanting to upgrade to a pc for years, but my parents would never in a million years buy my a prebuilt or the supplies for building it myself

Companies need to take note- there’s no shot you’re still putting out fans that have 2 cables coming off each fan! There’s many ways to daisy chain fans together, pick one! Corsair you’re up first!
This PC case would have been perfect if they put 3.2 USB Type A ports instead of 3.0 on it's I/O panel. It's 2023 already and they still put 3.0 on the front I/O panel. I went with the Be Quiet Shadow Base 800FX instead.
you can match the front fans with others, press m until it turn white, then control through motherboard
We really need more white GPUs. I wanted to do a white and red build when I built my new PC but the same specs I picked out in white and red would have costed over 3000$ when my rig all came together at a little over 2500$

This is a build I really like. I have a pc but the fans are so loud. I don’t have a lot of storage on my pc too. I really like the crystal graphics card. This build is AMAZING I hope you enjoyed building it.

Literally the most true thing I have heard all week... that everyone and their mother is using the 011 dynamic. In my honest opinion the case should either be discontinued or like double the price because right now pc building has hit a massive standstill with everyone using that case over and over. We need some new original cases similar to this to take its place.
Great build! Lian Li makes a Non-RGB version of the Lancool 3. Which includes non-rgb fans but doesn't include the rgb controller in the front panel. I purchased the rgb version but replaced the 140mm rgb fans and removed all the rgb cabling for the pc case rgb controller. So I have a few buttons on the case that don't do anything but all fans can be controlled either from the motherboard OR fan controller software depending on which you prefer. Very happy with that decision. Just wish I realized I could of ordered it without rgb a head of time :)

I reeally enjoy this buiild, it came out looking great. Clean and tasteful with just enough flare from the Aio, GPU, and Cable extensions to give it some of it''s individuality. I actually have the black rgb version of the case along side a z790 Tomohawk, 13700k, Asus Rtx 4080 Tuf, and plan on going for a dark black and grey build with a little bit of darker blue accents throughout. I will be hopefully assembling the pc this weekend because I had been waiting for some small but important parts for the last two months. WIsh me luck on that it all works out and looks good in the end lol
I agree with you. The only thing sucks about the build is that Lian-Li doesn't have a matching 140mm front fans for you to complete the build. Otherwise, still a nice build regardless.
Here in some months I’ll be getting the money to build the ultimate PC, and was wondering if by chance you wanted to work something out to where you could use it as a video to showcase and then ship it up to me in Alaska. It would be an Arctic theme white and light blue like this.
The silver looks good, never been a fan of vertical GPU mounts though. Somthing about covering the PCIE slots deeply bothers me. I have a all silver build at home. Silver motherbord, ram, gpu, and cpu cooler. 11400f, asus prime b560m ac, silver xpg 3200mhz 32 gigs and my old evga 1070 sc. If only I could find a silver or white micro ATX case that looks good, isint thin garbage and has quality airflow. That would be ideal but micro ATX is on life suport and very expensive here in canada due to scarcity lol. Keep up the great content.
$4200, yikes!! Yikes! But it's exactly what I want to build, maybe not with that graphics card (not in my budget). One part per month, on sale, open box, clearance, gift card from birthdays and Christmas it's doable! Beautiful build!!
