so my gpu is working, but the fan is at 0 rpm at my pc is basically unusable because when it overheats it shuts off. i really need help and idk what to do at this point. i also dont have the 0 rpm option in AMD

I feel the worst for the poor parents/grandparents that bought this pc for their children/grandchildren as a christmas present but it didn’t do what they expected it to be, very sad.

Amazon does not allow scams but they can't always check everything 24/7 and some always slip their grasps anyways. Like I said its the sellers that scam not the site unless you use wish or temu that are huge scams.

@Dantic the reason it may have rebooted itself a couple times is possibly an unstable ram overclock, this happened to me before and that is exactly what happened. hope i could help!

typically rgb tends to turn off so people would get confused as to why it does not turn on. Also turning on and off is normal if you turn the pc for the first time since its doing memory training, but its already a setup pc so i would expect to just turn it on. also, about it instantly turning on you turned the pc on while not having a monitor connected and hdmi supports hotplugging.

Oh wow. I'm using that CPU in my main rig, and it's perfectly capable, but I got a 1060 6GB as well. The CPU is sometimes a bit more utilized than I'd like, but good enough. I also had to remove one of my RAM sticks to fix weird crashes, but still fine. If you don't have a gaming PC already, this is quite a workhorse.
I haven't bought this exact listing, but I got a very similar one locally for 300€ with 24" 1080p monitor.

320 for a gt 710 an core i5 is crazy i have a dell optiplex 990 i built with a i5 2600 an a gt 730 2gb with 16gb of ddr3 ram that i got for 50$ in total its very sad people are buying these from lack of knowledge

For 600 dollars you can build with some effort a rx 6600 xt build which is like equal to rtx 3060 ti but has more vram so,for that price it isn't good
no , this isnt really good there are 600 gaming pcs on amazon with RTX 3080s/4060s with win11 aswell and 32gb of ram in both colours white and black if youd like me to drop the link reply

The vagueness of the specs, the datedness of tbe components
and the motherboard quality are the red flags to come.
what makes me concern is that ive played mc in my old pc that had I5 gen 2 and gtx650 and it hitted liked 250fps on the newest version (what I meant old pc is that like 2 weeks ago when i updated my bios everything messed up, so I changed PSU, GPU and CPU)

i think that 5 star that said it was broken was so that amazon would potentially show it to people as one of the first three or so reviews that they preview.

As an Azerbaijani, I wanna say even turkey has good pcs for 250-300$ with RX 550 at least and 12 gen i3 + 16GB DDR4 ram which is a good start
the thing is in 2016 or 2018 i bought a pc for £500 it had a i3 3100 and a gtx 950 and somehow preforms way better then the pc you are testing but the price is higher since the technology was still evolving

First, you use the same mouse that I'm using. Second, they've installed the wrong driver. it is a GT710, but the driver says GT730

Doing a benchmark with processes running and games downloading in the background is a very questionable way to show how well the PC performs.

It's not the 4th gen i5 or DDR3 that is holding this system back but the GT710, which is fine for a display adaptor but horrible for everything else.

The minimal system specs for most games are a gt 1030 at best ^^
Also: a Freaking GeForce 8800 GTS 512 is like double the performance of this gpu and a mid range 2013/14 card is 8 times as fast, wth.
from what ive seen with these Amazon PC's they will just throw in whatever i5 they can get their hands on cheaply.
I came here to see a pc set on fire and left disappointed. Won't be back

Yoo idk if the gpu is a bottleneck or sum and i think its not running on the highest performance that it can. I have a i3 4gen also and a gt 1030 and having 280 to 400 fps in minecraft with optimizatiins and on roblox low graphics like 160 average.
Any computer sold with Windows 10 now has about 18 months of life left before it’ll not get any more updates, and will not be fit for purpose. With a TEN YEAR OLD cpu, it will not run windows 11. Also, if it goes straight into windows without asking you all those questions, it’s not set up properly - it means it’s already set up for someone. I guess it could be due to a pirated licence key. Did you spot a COA licence key stuck to the side?
Finally, the case is made by Colors IT (“CIT”) which is why it came in the CIT box

What do you think about a $300 PC that I hought that has an i7 8700k, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a Corsair H100i 240mm AIO cooler, and an open air case with 7 RGB fans. It didn't come with a PSU or storage but I already had those.
Please build your own pc. Prebuilts are a huge scam in prices. You can look up pc builds for whatever budget you want and they recommend each part you should buy for your budget.

If my old pc could handle actual minecraft on the lowest settings well enough to run it at 100 fps id be so fucking happy, my old pc couldnt even open fortnite it was so shit
For the benchmarks, also Fortnite there is a performance mode and recording with OBS & gaming on that older 4 cores i5 and GT 710 really not that great, i assume you should get a capture card for such things. :D
P.S The PC is still bad and overpriced .. But atleast the CPU is somewhat "ok" with a better GPU. :-)

If you ran Fortnite on performance mode or optimised it a little bit it probably would have gotten 60 fps and go higher
the problem is the psu its probably weak and cannot handle it so if you swap it it will start working better low end psu are really really bad
