I've always been a huge SF guy and have never played this but holy hell, this has got to be the most gorgeous fighting game I've ever seen in my life. Just watching it is like candy to my eyes, incredibly fluid looking. I might have to give it a shot.

Lord Knight couldn't win even one round against Yume, so, If that wasn't free, I don't know what it was. So of course Yume would think that way about Lord Knight.
What does it matter that tons of people were into the series now that its a fighter. This is exposure, I dont know why fanboys get the idea that exposure is a bad thing. Fuckin love it. Sorry RPG's dont get a big competition every year. Either way it would be ran by FFVII fanboys. So where would Shin Megami Tensei: Persona be then... Right, still in the dark. Yo, as a game designer from the 22nd best game design school in the country (NJIT, and YES, it's in Newark -.-) I really want to go right for the top 10 and put NJIT on the map, because f*ck Drexel and I'm tired of seeing NYU everywhere... No offense to those schools, but in terms of my school, I really want to shove it down the board of NJIT that we can match up with those top 15'ers

All late but....I really think so, bananaken already fought Yumi, & beat him 3-0 so yeah i think he would, also because all the japanese players don't have as much experience fighting such a high level S lab but Lord Knight has fought bananaken a few times so he's use to the match up.
DIE-chan is a LOT stronger than lord knight. It's hard to tell but he's the only jp player who got absolutely killed by jet lag. The day after this, he was still incredibly tired but he killed all of his challengers. (Some of these guys included Pain and brkrdave.). So even when he was still really tired the second day, he played WAY better than he played at Evo.
im not really into fighting games, but how come when yukiko is attacking, her damage is so small, but when aigis attacks, she gives like a huge chunk of damage?
Think of it like wrestling or boxing, the heavy hitter is strong but may lack speed while the quick moving fighter doesn't hit as hard. That's how it's like here they will excel in one area but aren't as good in another. It helps keep the fighters balanced.
zetaro05 I've just started to pick this game up, so I don't know too much about the characters here. What I said is pretty much fighting games in general. Sometimes there are characters seem like they are unstoppable but once you gain experience from playing with/against that character you'll eventually see what their weakness is and will found out how to capitalize on it with your character.
The Mega Manectric ive actually just started playing it too, like today (just finished P4G yesterday hehe, awesome game) gonna focus on story first, starting with the P4A dlc story. i played arcade with rise on the easiest diff, so i still cant say how everything works as all enemies just stands there waiting to be hit :p the buttons seems to do the same thing for each character, so i guess your right in that every attack has diff damage potential, and probably diff wind up times. im so bad at fighting games, i loved dissidia duodecim coz u can up ur advantage with level ups and equips there against the enemy, hope i can get far with P4AU hehe
bananaken would have been a better fight against yume, lordknight already lost to yume and i knew he was gonna get smoked again. bananaken was playing crazy top tier for the top 8
How is this game online? I had once got KoF for xbox 360 and the game itself was great but the online aspect was really dull and practically unplayable due to the latency in most cases. Is this game's online good? And is there enough ppl playing it online to justify buying it? I'm only asking this because I play mostly street fighter and injustice and I was just wanting to try out other fighters to play something new and fresh.
So? To be fair, they are good games. However, they are ridiculously time consuming and aren't competitive. Meaning, people who tend to do well in fighting game tournaments are unlikely to play them.
+Spanish Thunder define grindfest then cuz i've never spend large amounts of time grindin in persona 3 or 4 unless i was playing hard mode which is fuckin impossible. Dragon quest 8 is what you might be thinking of

It's mostly to expand the franchise, and to be honest, they went with a great studio to make it a fighter. Arena and Ultimate Suplex Hold are going to be canon in the franchise from what I understand, plus Arena is a ton of fun, so it's worth a try. I mean, this is just a spinoff and their main focus is to make the RPGs, so there's no harm in making these.

I don't know why but I alway end up rooting against LordKnight probably because I first saw him against Spark in BB and I love Spark.
This comp was so hype. I'm surprised only 2 Mitsurus made it to top 8. Labrys and Kuma matches were so fun to watch!

That's because the game is unbalanced. Yukiko was a very underpowered character in Arena and Aigis damage was cheap as fuck.
