Its really sad to see this game doesn't have the large crowds like Street Fighter 4 has. MK9 is such a good game, I have a lot of respect NetherRealm and Warner Bros for how they treat their fans. They pack a fighting game with so much stuff, a full story mode with cinematics and awesome cutscenes, a good list of characters, great online services with tons of stuff to do, great training and learning modes for new comers, fun extras and constantly releasing patches to further polish the game. They had DLC characters but they release them at a fair price and let you pick which ones you wanted. While a really popular game charges money for patches/fixes, bundles a bunch of crappy characters but with a couple highly requested ones forcing you to pay more money for crap you don't want, leaving out important modes like spectator mode just to release it as "DLC" charging players money for something that should have been included or released for free and slapping high prices on everything with no regard for fans or customers.... I'm looking at you "Ultimate" Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Game is dead due to bad servers,half of people didnt even know that they have to change download region to play,and after that you have room full of premade players and afkers and even if you get chance to play its laging hard, and the worste thing of all is that AUTOMATCH is like 0.1% to get you a game,to much lag in game that is very demanding in timing and kombos.

Lets be realistic,cyrex is realy strong, if you master him you can do 85% and thats not only good thing about him, he has easy start combos, i mean he has fast punches and kicks that are hiting you if you dont crounch block,all of that you can conect to bad ass ench net take their energy and kick their ass... + cyrex has very good range lets see,3 types of different projectiles all of them exept ench saw disable and preper enemy for combo.His ench teleport is best wake up attack,and saw can keep enemy geting close when jumping he has like evrything,i think kenshi is best chance against him. (sorry for my shit english)
You are aware they're called enhanced specials, so the short "ench" doesn't make sense? That and his name is Cyrax. Not trying to knock your English, but it's a little weird to get a character's name wrong.

Why is it that in every fight game, when a character is falling to the ground and gets punched, they kinda bounces in the air in a completely non realistic way. This has always been a pet peeve of mine.

From what I have seen they are focusing on less characters, but more options and more refinement for each, lol hopefully that translates to there being more than 4 characters that are tournament worthy
August Keller there are 24 characters there were 27 in mk9 plus dlc making it like 33 but there are a decent amount tournament worthy in MK9 mileena, cage, sonya, jax, kung lou, lui kang, raiden (somewhat), cyrax, kenshi, subzero (somewhat), kabal, kitanna, shang tsung, quan chi, ermac, reptile these are all used
Playable on tournaments, and victorious in tournaments are a different things. Mileena, Sonya, Johnny cage, Cyrax, and kung Lao are the only ones you ever see mainlined, and even then only a few of them are consistently in top spots. Most other characters are just pocket characters that players use to try and counterpick another player.
David Awotwi Your idea sounds strange, losing bracket means like they are losing and not able to win anymore, while losers bracket means they have lost and are now in the bracket figting with other players that have lost, same logic goes for winners, but yea "losing bracket" means they are doing nothing but losing games and can't win anymore, all in all, dumb idea.
As much as I respect Reo for his talent, it's a shame to see such ridiculous zoning, "can't touch me," run-away gameplay in the Top 8. It's not fun to watch, and it's not fun to play against.
As usual, Forever King's cheap tactics ruin the tournament. There should have been tournaments that restricted Camping Kenshi, 90% garbage Cyrax, and OP Kung Lao. I feel sorry for people who try to use different characters and lose because of garbage.

Tekken is a 3D fighter while MK and SF are 2D's, so you can't compare them in the same way. And it's spelled "than".
tekkens good shit, but yeah it's a totally different genre, fully 3d fighting is a big difference from traditional 2d fighting.

It's pretty much an 85% combo. There's no way to escape the reset unless the other player screws up.
