Underrated review, this needs more views. That being said, yeah thunderbolt is one of the best gundam series out there, the story, characters, themes, and music all work in near perfect unison to create a engaging, harrowing, and fantastic story. I hope you get around to season 2/Bandit Flower, personally it's one of my favorites though most gundam fans say it's not as good as the first but I think it really adds on to the amazing start December Sky leaves off on, again nice review, hope to be able to catch more!

great video. i'm looking forward to them adapting the rest of the manga. the first 2 films 'barely' scratch the surface. Can't wait 2 see 'perfect' gundam in animation.

Thunderbolt has a great story and characters because it's not written by the typical Gundam veterans that had to follow company executive inputs, but an original work by the manga artist Yasuo Ohtagaki which also has other terrific manga series under his belt. Sunrise really should offer promising manga artists to create and test new series instead of chasing trends.
I agree. Thunderbolt uses audio so much in it's production, though. Very hard to believe a manga author has such good ear for sound design.

G Gundam is loved by many. Almost every Latino Anime fan loves it. This applies to south and Central America.
Got into in Gunpla and we really need a new Master and tequila Gundam model kits.
Thunderbolt is a good series. Psycho is amazing design.

So thunderbolt is my favorite series but i will say going it feels like a lot is missing between December sky and bandit flower. I really hope they make more seasons because this is like a GoT version of gundam. I love how they just cut his arm off just to interface with the psycommu.
Well there's always the original manga series to read. I think it's finally coming close to an end.

G gundam is the goat. If you weren’t watching it at 5pm est on toonami you won’t understand. It paved the way for anime. For context I’m 34 years old. I was 12 when it fired airs on CN.
