I agree with you on Memorial Day sales. Many members of my family have served in the military, both men and women. Fortunately, they all made it home, but several of them lost their good friends. Sales, and remembering those who lost their lives to keep us safe, just doesn't jive.
Completely agree with your take on the marketing sales of any kind on the backs of our friends and family both alive and dead, serving our country. Sometimes freedom isn't pretty.

I still remember the strong feelings there was on Memorial Day of proud for the people who served.
I'm torn. On the one hand, I'd like to support the man who bought the company back in hopes of saving the company he built. I was a big fan of some of their products. On the other hand, with everything so expensive these days money is quite tight. So I'm afraid to spend the money and find the quality still isn't there. I haven't decided whether I'll order or not.

@@SeriousKetoI ordered some collagen protein powder for my mom and will probably be ordering some for myself. Their collagen comes from New Zealand cattle...grass-fed, grass-finished and organic. It's also derived from the bones and not the hides. I found the price to be reasonable, too, especially with a subscription. I hope this helps.

Thank You Steve! For me personally, I will wait and see! If they make a comeback, then I will purchase on black Friday. I am kind of tired of wasting my money on imperfect keto items of any brand that cost a fortune and aren't consistent or change their formulas!

I've tried several bottles of the PK Electrolytes and honestly, there are better electrolytes available (and you don't need to take them 3 times/day). I ended up with (too many) containers of the salted caramel collagen because they were out of stock on other flavors - over and over. Not sure I'll ever get through them. I prefer the Vital Proteins unflavored collagen in my coffee. It dissolves almost on contact and doesn't clump. Thanks for the update Steve. It will be interesting to see what your viewers' experiences are!

Living in Capitalistic society, money attaches to everything. Sometimes forward (Grandparents day) and companion (Momorial day). We often forget why the holiday (rememberance) is there. I find forcing myself to at minimum to at least reflect on why the rememberance is there helps me feel a little bit better about the extraneous stuff (sales, etc).
I ordered some last night. Thanks for the heads-up that they won't be doing a Labor Day sale. I may have to make a second order.
I placed an order (not yet received). I will tell you that I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered 5 collagen that they added a free chocolate collagen to my order. That's a nice bonus! I have ordered nola bars--probably the current bars as I can't imagine they've changed the formula yet but they are still the ones I like best even though I used to love them!

Just got my order that I ordered the day this video dropped, everything was in stock, discount came to $80. I like the follow up text making sure I received the order and offering help if there was any problems. I would say it was a 5 out of 5 star transaction. I think PK is back

I ordered when I saw in stock, then all of a sudden the subscription order came too. Well we're fixed for awhile. I like the Nola Bars too much so stopped them. Thanks again. Just ordered 5 boxes of coconut chocolate chip Nola bars. Ordering was easy and payment through Apple Pay easy as well but it’s always this way. Finger crossed that the delivery and product itself is high quality
I placed my order yesterday. I got over five items, so I got 35% off. It automatically put in the discount code, I used a link from my email. They had everything I wanted in stock, like you, I stock up on the electrolytes and the collagen for my husband. Was very happy, unlike the last time I ordered, and nothing was in stock that I wanted. I'm trying out the Nola bars, so I'll let you know if they return to their original formula.
I didn’t have the courage to get the Nola bars, but they had all of my collagen favorites, so I stocked up on those.
I placed my Memorial Day sale order a couple days ago bc everything I wanted was in stock and I was afraid that if I waited, stuff would run out. My son enjoys the electrolytes for sports. Their Base electrolytes with BHB are the cleanest I have been able to find on the market. I did not get any Nola bars although I did love the peanut butter before the recipe change. The best deal is the bundles if they happen to include what you would be buying anyway. Thanks for the tip about no sales until Black Friday. Glad I stocked up. 😀

I just ordered the Vanilla MCT which I use with a sugar free Chai mix from Amazon. It’s a nice treat. I ordered their Almond brownie bars which I like but I think are way too small. I also ordered their chocolate Nootropic which I like to mix with the vanilla MCT and ice to make me think I’m eating ice cream 😊. I was never a fan of the Nola bars because they were too hard for me to eat but I hope they go back to the whole nuts for you. Thanks for ur honest reviews! I like Perfect keto but stopped ordering from them because they got sooo expensive and never allowed me to use my reward points with their sales. Hopefully they will do better now.
Great video Steve! 100% on the mark sir. I honestly didnt think you would make this video but Im glad you did. You are the reason I started using them. Would be terrible if all these other keto companys make it and they dont. Limiting the sales sounds to me like they are cash strapped. Black Friday is crazy. Couldn't agree more. I lost family in WW2 and served in the Canadian Army, and I believe the commercialization of these very special days is wrong!
Steve....I just looked on Perfect Keto site for what I believe is their electrolyte capsule product (I take these daily too). OLD label had title words "Keto Electrolytes." NEW label on website says "Base BHB Softgels." BUT, what is concerning is the active ingredients are different.
OLD - 1 capsule contains:
• Calcium (as calcium carbonate) 35 mg
• Magnesium (as magnesium citrate) 30 mg
• Chloride (as potassium chloride, as sodium chloride) 280 mg
• Sodium (as sodium chloride) 70 mg
• Potassium (as potassium chloride) 70 mg
NEW - 2 capsules contain:
• Calcium (as calcium beta-hydroxybutyrate) 64 mg
• Sodium (as sodium beta-hydroxybutyrate) 70 mg
THEN the new label goes on to add this, which I find very confusing.
• Calcium Beta-hydroxybutyrate 400 mg
• Sodium Beta-hydroxybutyrate 400 mg
The "other ingredients" listed also differ with the OLD formula being words you can understand (for gel capsule and filler contents). The NEW formula requires a chemistry background to understand!
BHB is exogenous ketones.
@@SeriousKeto Hmmmm....When I search the perfect keto site, I could not find the Keto Electrolytes capsules product per se. When I used search on the site the BHB came up.
I gave them another chance.. I’ve been out of the Mexican hot chocolate Beauty Sleep collagen. Order 5 products to get the top discount. Will be interested to see how the peanut butter Nola bars are. The picture showed the old version. We’ll see.

Wow, I just looked at my order history from Perfect Keto and the last time I got an order from them was 2022! I know I've tried, but everything I want has always been out of stock. I hope they can pull it together. And I agree, it is disrespectful to our fallen soldiers to use their special day for a promotion. It feels wrong.
All I can say Steve is when I got the white chocolate macadamia bars I NEVER got the amount of chips in or ON it the picture shows. I emailed complaining once that the Nola bars shrunk. I got 2 bites and that was it. They replied that because they’re hand made sometimes portions are not the same. Huh? When you have people cutting you tell them to measure, say 5” or whatever. You don’t let them cut willy-nilly. I stopped buying the bars right then and there.
If you got this response last year, I’m not surprised. Their customer service was pretty dismissive.
I jumped on their pre-announcement for the sale and got the collagen flavors I like (INCLUDING Cinnamon Toast - got 2) EXCEPT Vanilla which was OUT. I placed the order yesterday so we'll see how quickly it arrives and any changes in packaging/volume.......
I’ll take a look at the sale and decide then if I’m going to give it a go or not. I’m still doing research and preparing to start the rest of my life working with ketogenesis.
Perfect keto has also sent out a message that they are switching to bags instead of boxes. It will be interesting to see if the Nola bars get crushed in shipping. They do seem to have gotten some of their long out of stock items back. I’ll be keeping an eye on them. Thanks for the option on Memorial Day too, I agree!
It would be great if they went to bags instead of 2/3rds filled plastic canisters for the collagen and MCT powder.

I agree with everything you said…Memorial Day is sacred in my home too. And Perfect Keto’s imperfections have outlasted my patience and my pocketbook. I’m moving on to other options…especially after reading the comment here about “ out of stock “ still happening!

I'm retired Navy as well. I was never one for sales around Memorial Day or claiming it to be the "Beginning of Summer". As for Perfect Keto, I had only bought the collagen powder. I had tried some of the bars, not a big fan. I don't like having to "tier" buy product just to get a bigger discount. For that reason plus the amount of money I'd have to spend to get the discount and stock up not to mention storage considerations, I won't be buying during this sale. I have found another brand of collagen powder that works for me.

Just placed my order. No electrolyte capsules, which I used to use, but haven’t been able to source forever, and they seem to be out of some of the collagen flavors. I would love to try the chocolate beauty and sleep, but I have to be really careful about chocolate before bedtime (or even late afternoon). I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine keeping me awake.
Just ordered. I am unable to bite the bullet on the bars. They were a big disappointment the last time. I'm also struggling with the collagen because I had one of the cinnamon toast go rancid. All the other collagen and powdered products I bought at the time are still good. Thank uou as always Steve.

Went with EQUIP after all the out of stock also seem to get more and cost less but I'll give them one more try
I think ultimately it depends on how much lead time the original owner has had to course correct. Some of these changes need to be made with their manufacturer long in advance. I'm not sure how much time he has had.
So whether this sale is make or break for me personally, I don't know. But it definitely would be nice to hear positive feedback or see a change by year's end. I'm not a big purchaser, but the ability to keep things in stock is usually the determining factor.
One of the biggest bits of feedback I got last year was how bad/rude their customer service was. I feel that's something that could be (and hopefully was) addressed very quickly.

I went with the sale. I only use the chocolate collagen and i get yhat on a monthly subscription. This sale made each one less than my subscription price. Im generally pretty good at using only a scoop a day which makes it last until the next month. Every once in awhile ill splurge and run short so this order should last me the year

I questioned their Nola bar, I told them that they seem so much smaller than they used to be. The answer that they gave me was that it still had the same weight even though the shape could be different. But I did not feel like I was getting very much for my money. At the end of 2023 I had set up a subscription with my MCT oil powder, vanilla flavored, and it kept charging me, but then it would tell me it was out of stock. They then told me that they were filing bankruptcy. But that somebody else was purchasing the company. And that things would be back in stock soon. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The expense of the Nola bars, almost doesn’t make sense because of what you get it taste good but there’s not very much to it. Service when I need them has been very quick to respond. What they charged me for they immediately removed it. And they have really been very good about trying to keep up. I love the white chocolate macadamia Nola bars. But the strange shape and size that they are now I don’t know that I will continue to, keep them. I get the marshmallow or mellow munch bars also. I think they’ve stayed pretty much the same but the Nola bars I was very disappointed in the way they looked, especially like you said the peanut bar was a whole different bar. However, I will give them the benefit for a short whileand see how it goes. My favorite thing is the MCT powder and vanilla and that may be the only thing I continue to subscribe to as long as they have it. Thank you. For doing a review of perfect Keto, let’s see what happens with them but yes, Customer Service has been a plus.
Well, I've been waiting for a sale to stock up on my collagen, which is the only product I get from them now, but of course, they sold out of vanilla which is what I buy. I do hope they get it together. I don't know how long ago ownership changed, but you'd think they would try to keep their basic staple items in stock. Especially prior to a sale.

I was also looking for the Vanilla Collagen, but it is out of stock. I use that regularly, so I'm switching to Equip Foods for that. I did, however order 5 of the Perfect Keto Black Cherry Electrolytes and got a free full sized Chocolate Collagen. I now make my own bars and treats, so not interested in those products any longer.
I was able to pick up multiples of what I wanted (cinnamon toast collagen and the Beauty and Sleep in the turmeric-latte flavor) so that’s pretty positive. I do like these two products very much, so I do hope they are turning things around.

My favorite product is their powdered MCT oil in chocolate flavor. They stopped making it, so I canceled my membership. Yesterday I found it on Amazon, so I set up a subscription. We'll see.

They raised their prices over 10% so the discount isn't worth it. They don't have the one product I would be tempted to buy even at the higher price. So, I guess I'll stick with my local health food store, which has some incredible products. To bad, I was hoping Perfect Keto was making a comeback.
I’m no fan of their prices, but 10% is still below the rate of inflation over the last 3 years. Do you realistically expect a business to hold their prices stable as their costs go up 17%?
I don't think I have ever tried Perfect Keto in my Keto on/off journey these last 6 plus years.
In the beginning, I used to buy a coffee MCT creamer....but cannot remember the brand.....it would have been one of the top ones....maybe Quest or Kiss My Keto....but when the demand drove the price sky high..... I jumped off of the MCT creamer kick and just added butter or coconut oil, and then just whipping cream.
If you’ve made it this far without them, you probably can live without them. 😉
I have looked for so long now for them to bring back the Beauty sleep formula in the lavender and never see it. I like the hot chocolate one but really wish they had the other one for summer. I was going to order if they had it. Any news on when it will be back in stock ?

I have a stock of the older Nola Bars so I won’t be buying any. I will most likely stock up on Beauty + Sleep. I have never tried the lavender flavor. I need to re-stock the Mexican Chocolate (I have 2 of the turmeric already). I do love their electrolyte tabs too. If I don’t feel like Beauty + Sleep one night I will take either Keto Chow Magnesium Drops in some warm keto chow shake OR I will take an electrolyte tablet. Love them all.

Ok Steve, wife and I ordered 3 Mexican hot chocolate, 1 turmeric coconut and 1 salted caramel collagen.
We shall see how this goes. I am going to have to find a new source for electrolytes though.

You give them far more chances than I could. I gave up on them a year ago. They had time to send 8000 emails asking if I have questions, but no product.

I’ve always had issues with Memorial Day sales.
Steve, you asked for any input concerning our Perfect Keto sale orders. I purchased the peanut butter Nola bars and the maple pecan Nola bars and asked them for a refund (the peanut butter ones were still gummy with tiny bits of peanuts and the maple pecan tasted overwhelmingly of artificial maple flavoring. They were disgusting. They were also out of the vanilla MCT powder. I had to order unflavored instead.
Did they give you a refund?

Just received my order and the peanut butter nola bars are the pulverized version. No peanut chunks. Taste good but not as good and the chunky version. Don't know how to attach a pic. I did receiver everything i ordered. Just mallow bars and nola bars.
I refuse to order the peanut Nola bars until they are fixed. That said, they had my favorite collagens in stock and I had my order in 3 days.
I did place a PK order. 😊 Actually, two of them. Split so that I could get the free gift after $125 twice. So one order was like $130 the other one was $160. I thought it was a pretty good deal because by the time I ordered, they were $25 per canister of collagen. (I paid $48 last year to be part of their membership so I get another 10% off on top of sales) anyhow. All's I order is collagen and MCT powders. No bars. They had every single thing in stock except for vanilla collagen, which is no big deal to me.
I gotta get out and order some collagen ASAP (after last year, you never know how quickly they'll run out of stock).

I so don't want to try and find new electrolytes or collagen powder. I stocked up on the tablets last Memorial Day sale and I'm down to my last half bottle. I've been out of collagen, salted caramel especially, for near 9mos. I've just been doing without. Not sure how I will approach this.
I just bought 2 each of salted caramel and cinnamon toast collagen, along with a turmeric coconut beauty + sleep. Just testing the waters with this order. 😉
I won't be ordering this time. The company used to be really good. I hope they pull it together, but I honestly haven't missed their products in my keto lifestyle since the quality went down. I'm shocked at the difference in the peanut Nola bar!

I only like the Mexican Hot Chocolate. The other products just are inedible for me and Ive ordered plen ty from them. I had to throw away the whole case of the perfect keto bars because the taste was awful, they just soaked my hands with oils and believe me I tried bar after bar cause I didnt want to waste the money but just couldn't stomach them. I might give the mac and cheese one more try.
I love their bars. I keep them in the refrigerator. They do not spike my blood sugar.

I am a fan of Perfect Keto and have supported them for a few years now. I would always make large purchases on the bigger sale days. This sale I am going to have to pass. The Canadian $ is terrible and with exchange rate and shipping (no discount / free shipping to Canada) it is cost prohibitive. I am having my morning coffee with my last scoop of chocolate collagen. 😢. I do have 4 strawberry collagen, 1 salted caramel and a bottle electrolytes left. No bars left. We’ll see what happens with the CAN dollar in the future. Right now I am in a holding pattern.

It's break it for me. I can't think that this is a coincidence now that the second time their biggest sale has their most highest selling item vanilla collagen not in stock. This is a very dishonest business practice and I will not support this business ever again. Will be going elsewhere. First day of the sale and no vanilla collagen. I am not buying it
