I wasn't on anything, for years since roughly 2001 my first symptom, the NHS in the UK have not give me anything. For a good few years I was training doing heavy weights and combat sports I was highly active but in the last couple of years I've noticed changes in fatigue, spasticity, brain fog, lack of sleep etc. getting to the point of demanding new doctors/specialists review me, as late as 2 weeks ago a specialist reviewed me and approved Ocrevus at my request
@@LeeBarberMcrUK oh ok I understand now. I think you were smart to be working out it helps so much. Do they allow CBD oil over there? That helps greatly improve spasticity for me. I try not to try natural before I go to pharmaceuticals . I am really excited about the Ocrevus for you. I've been on 4 other meds and I like this one the most. Please let me know how it goes for you after infusion.
@@LeeBarberMcrUK you should try it. Since you were athletic it may agree with you more than the other prescribed drugs they give. I also take magnesium. I don't know if you have seen the video where I talk supplements I take but the MG helps also.
I had my first full dose last week. And I had another infusion reaction, but I made it through. But still having lots of symptoms. But still hopeful for some relief. And yes insurance is a bear! I did medical billing for over 15 years. So yes I know.
Hey Shannon what kind of reaction did you have? I hold it helps you.. are the symptoms bad? And arghhhh the insurance companies and Dr.'s . I'll be back making calls in the morning. 💚💪🏾
I had itchy in nose and throat and burning in my throat. Had to have more Benadryl and stopped for about a half hour. My hand is numb and my legs are numb. The worst symptom is the esophagus spasms.
Thank you soooooo much for the advice!! Since we’ve last spoke I have stopped eating meat, upped my vitamins/supplements and let’s not forget the CBD oil. Everything has been going great and I wanted to personally say THANK YOU!
Hey 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾 I am so happy to hear that. You are welcome. I'm glad you are feeling good. I feel your energy through the phone. We're in this together sis!! We fight on 💪🏾💪🏾
@@LeeBarberMcrUK wow Lee I quit cold Turkey too and haven't looked back since. It has made such a difference for me. We have to fight this thing with everything we have
Exactly, if you're going to do something do it properly. Loads of people including my fiancee wanted me to wean myself off each thing one by one, but whats the point in that, the fight started that day
Thanks for this video. I'm at the 1 year 6 month mark, too. Glad to hear your doing well. Adaptation is my deal, too - just get on with what you can control and adapt to the rest. What form of CBD do you use?
Hi Ellen. Thank you for watching. I take catatonic. I get it from the dispensary in Jersey it works really well. Exercise helps also. Adaptation is key. We still do it just differently. 💪🏾💪🏾
@@TanyaMarieP you are welcome. Recently diagnosed with MS myself. And this covid19 came at the wrong time (its put my ocrevus/Tysabri infusion on hold 🤬)

The most helpful video on Ocrevus so far, thank you
I've recently been approved for mine after 18 years of being on zero meds by the way
Hi Lee 👋🏾 thank you! What other meds were you on? I'm glad you got approved I hope it works for you. When will you start?
