Everyone seems to miss it in the review videos and even my dealer missed it when I got mine… you still had the stickers on the seats N logos. You should be clearly seeing the N colours even when they aren’t lit up. Phenomenal car. Had it two weeks now and I’ve gone out for at least a 1h joy ride every day I’ve had it so far.
OMG thank you! I was actually wondering about this when I first got the car and why it wasn't that lit up. My son and I just ran out to the garage and peeled off those white colored stickers. So much brighter and colorful, especially when they are not illuminated. Thanks again!
I just got mine last Saturday and I freaking LOVE THIS CAR. It does everything well, with no rattles or odd noises, and handles my crappy roads with ease. Super fast and fun to play with in sport modes. Love listening to the fake engine noises as I row through the gears via the paddle shifter.
Very informative. Having just purchased (and loved) my new Ionic 5N, this video helped me understand the features and controls on the control panel and more. Great job!
Tip to new owners for the custom modes: You want to keep e-shift on Right N button (because it’s so much fun). What you do instead is set the left N button to Custom 1 and Custom 2. You can still access the regular Default N mode by holding the blue Drive Mode button so you don’t really need it on the N button. Other things of note: Android Auto (and assuming IPhone too) now send driving directions to the HUD where only the onboard Nav did it on the regular Ioniq 5. It also has album covers when songs change on the HUD. However I was confused at first because sometimes they didn’t show up, that’s because N mode seems to do away with these distractions (so no album art or driving directions when driving in N mode, though… I’m realizing now that I have it on the Sport HUD and that’s probably a distinction between the 2 HUD modes which you can pick. I’d just never put the normal HUD when in custom mode. So yeah, still learning myself).
I generally run mine in quiet ECO mode to listen to podcasts etc. in traffic, but every now and again, with a clear road in front, I press N1 and N2 and then - Whoop! Whoop!
Might be good it out of my reach, I am settling for the non N - 2025 AWD. Coming soon (I hope). Good Video Don't think I will use self parking, bit slow. I would end up yelling at it to hurry up.
Just about to order one but there's a 12 month waiting list in CZ. There will be loads of other cars with e-gears soon, VW & Peugeot might release proper GTi's EV now they've seen the reaction to this.., so 12 months is a long time to be locked into todays prices when there's absolutely no competition. They might sell the 'Demo' car at the end of this year (*for full price though) but it's Black & looks a bit fuggley... needs to be matt or pearlescent 'N Blue'.
@@edsgarage001 That was good advice, a Business Car 'tax perk' ended recently, so someone cancelled their order with a different dealer. We'll take delivery in around 3-4 weeks.
ICE drivers get mad that EVs don't offer the "visceral experience." Hyundai offers a "visceral experience" and ICE drivers call it "stupid." #SMH ... c'mon, accept it. This is terrific tech that not only makes the car more fun, but perhaps also safer. How many ICE cars already pipe in fake motor sounds? Don't ICE automakers tweak their exhaust to deliver a certain sound? What's so different when an EV maker does essentially the same thing? I think the 5N is a great step forward and I cannot wait to get one.
If you're referring to anything I said in the video, you should know, I'm actually an EV driver and enthusiast. I currently own an ioniq 6. I think the engine sounds are fun and neat, but only for a bit... Then I'd shut it off, as I prefer a nice quiet ride.
I test drove one of these today in the UK and it was awesome.
Yes it is!

It was super bright and sunny out, I was trying to point out that they light up.
@@edsgarage001 oh I know, I did the same thing. But do have a look if the owner hasn’t picked it up, the white stickers are probably still on.
It's been picked up already ... But I can find out still ☺️

40s are the new 20s, bro. N makes everyone giggle, tho. 😊
😂
Good way to look at it!
I want one. I got an Ioniq 5 SEL. It's amazing. But this N version.... makes me excited about the future of EVs.
Me too!

Good tips!
So many options!
Thx for the infotainment details and the N mode configurations!
My pleasure!
Awesome; looking forward to the Ioniq 6N video as I own a 2023 I6 Ultimate. Would it be too early to trade up??? LOL
Well it looks like we will have to wait until next year anyway 😂
That's one good looking car!

The forward and backward thing is pretty useful, I use it often... But the self parking is indeed a bit slow. Personally never use it.
@@edsgarage001 Right on. Cheers
Man i want this so bad. I love i6 so much aswell. Im 2 poor
Yeah this one's pricey!
Sucks to be poor 😂
Yep...
Although, I can safely say that compared to anything else in this price range.... This takes the cake.
