Larq PureVis Filtered Pitcher Review | Water Never Tasted THIS Good.

- OK, so I got a little carried away with the title, BUT there's some truth to the matter. I've tried LARQ filter and PureVis bottles and reviewed in my past time to know these are game-changers for cleaner water on my travels, but filling these up at home can get repetitive in the smaller sizes.
The pitcher is LARQ's answer to my problem, with a 1.9-litre size and adds the two-bottle tech into one jug. It's no exaggeration if you're not yet into the filter water lifestyle, this not only tastes soft, smooth and better but stays cleaner for longer for the holy LARQ trinity. Steep price tag I'd like to see cheaper, but the investment is worth the health benefits if you're committed. Here's my unbox, prep, setup and first drink thoughts. Enjoy!

Thank you for the review, bubba! 🤠
You're welcome, buddy! 🤓🙌
Its the filter that matters not all the electronics.
Nòt fo me only 2 stage filter and tiny. I use two, a britta maxtra as i have loads of these filters. And 2 nd stage a zero water filter removes chlorine and flouride and lots of other contaminents they put in water thesedays.
Since you don't have the app to turn self cleaning mode on and off, does it come turned on by default? Did you notice that?
You have to activate it by pressing on the soft top button. A blue ring light will home in to show it's working until it finishes. If it doesn't, you may need to charge it first. A long press adventure mode is a higher powered version I like to use too
How do you clean the lower part of the pitcher (below the blue filter part)?
Just lift up the filter slot and use washing liquid whenever you decide but there's not been any need as in practice only the filtered and purified water goes through. I've never felt the need to, only if you want to. Minimal maintenance needed
How often do you have to change the filter?
While they recommend every 2 months for optimal filter performance, it will depend on your actual usage. If you have an Apple device you can install the app and password with Bluetooth and it will show you the age of the filter and quality of it.
Mine is 70 days but the filter is in good status. Based on my usage I can probably change it every 3 months.
Larq water Purevis and Proposition 65 - birth defects and reproductive issues. Hiya, so I read that the Larq jug is made with some stuff that could cause reproductive issues- what is this about and are we just drinking something that could be detrimental in the long run?
Hey sorry for late reply. I believe this is the California law passed out just in general? I think specifically for prop 65, it's a very comprehensive list of any kind of Chemical or substance that may affect cancer or birth but this also applies to every day stuff if any small trace may be contained.
Even house filtration systems can have those traces and it's more of a label manufacturers have to add and are not required to remove it.
I cannot confirm or say from experience but if you're still unsure you're best to contact LARQ directly for a more definitive answer.
You can still recommend IT ?
Yes still one of the most comprehensive purifying water jugs for home
@@OneTechTraveller but really i dont understand the Filter whats inside ? And does IT Filter chalk also ?
Is it just me or does those little pebbles inside the filter look plastic, I though it was supposed to be plant-based carbon filter?
