Actually his numbers were great considering, it was 8 games, the last 5 games he had 2 true freshman throwing the ball, and he was a TE. In his first 3 games with what was supposed to be the main QB, he had 16 recs for 177 yards and 2 TDs. Over the last 5 games with the true freshman, he had 20 receptions for 191 yards. If you extrapolate his stats over a 13 game season you get 57 receptions for 600 yards and 3 TDs, which are INSANE numbers for a true freshman TE. If you go look at top 3 round TEs, their finally year in college, the vast majority of them don't have stats much better than those. And that's with injuries, and true freshman QBs throwing him the ball. With the original QB starting all year in a 13 game season, you're probably looking at 65 receptions for 800 yards and 6-7 TDs for a true freshman TE.

They read off articles and offer barely any opinion that isn't surface level or logically thought out. Half the time they are barely researched outside of some numbers and reading a bio article. He has some things to work through, but he's definitely not "out of football". In fact he has been attending classes at UGA for some time and appears to be in a good place. Who’s HS OL are 6’0-6’1.?? I went to a smaller HS. I graduated with probably 100-125 kids. I think our whole HS was around 450-500. Maybe our C and OG’s were that size. Our OT were both atleast 6’3-6’4. Every year. And again, not a big HS in the area. We were 3A. It went to 6A(in PA). So 3 conference with schools bigger plus city schools(the biggest schools were 6A; smaller 1A).
How is Darnell dead weight. His value does show on the stats. If you watched any games. You’d see he’s an elite blocker and opens up the playbook so well for UGA.
