    Just fished here today, had a catfish hit a live pinfish and 1 small blacktip. Only thing I caught with my lures were the trees 😂. Saw some reds but they couldn’t care less what we threw

    Beautiful area , I fish it often. However, a 4 pound trout is a really big one. Not sure why they don't grow bigger? During the Red fish classic tournament a 3 pound something took first place.

    In San Diego California we have corvina that look just like them but don't have the spots, I would say they are one of the most wanted fish by a lot of fisherman , there not so common like the trout there

    Hey Blair, I fish down in Rivera close to Corpus Christi down here in Texas ( Lower Laguna Madre ) and I want to buy one of your Blue rods. I usually fish in 3-5 feet of water and catch from 15-24 inch Speckled trout and sometimes some 20+ inch reds.. What size rod and reel do you recommend ? It would be greatly appreciated.

    • @addictivefishing
      @addictivefishing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jay Reyna I like the 7'2" Flats Blue for redfish and trout. If you catch a bunch of bull reds, then move up to the 7'6" and you will be fine. 3000 size reel for 7'2" or 3500 for 7'6".

    • @addictivefishing
      @addictivefishing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Drew Hill If I am fishing for small fish, I go with the 3000. If there is a chance for a large fish, I might go with the 3500.

      Addictive Fishing I do a lot of inshore fishing along the Alabama coast so mainly looking for specks, white trout, reds, and flounder. What brand of reel is it? I'd love to give the rod and reel combo a try.

      woodiniguana I never touch their gills. I am holding the cartilage of the mouth, so the fish doesn't flip. Watch this and learn - th-cam.com/video/VIByEnstXtc/w-d-xo.htmlm59s
