Is IELTS a requirement to practice as a Radiographer in NZ

The English test is for applying for residency. But when you come over from South Africa on a work visa and with a qualification that you studies fully in English as indicated by the University. You won’t need the English test. However, once you are here and you are now applying for residency, you will need the English test. Since there is a newly introduced option to come into New Zealand already through residency instead of coming first with a work visa, I guess you’ll need the test then
