what he did in the vid was very exaggerated. with that grip, just think about finishing the pitch with your index finger. the ball should feel like it’s coming off the inside of the index finger at release. throw that pitch with the intent of a 4 seam fastball with that grip and mentality towards finishing the release and it’ll be nasty

The grip can be the same, though id instead get up around the curve of the laces and your release is obviously different, similar to a curve ball, if you pitch more like a side arm or submarine pitcher, your curve is most likely a slider.I couldn't throw a sinker to save my life from the side, I had to throw it from 3/4 .I rotated between side arm and over the top depending on what the coach called for or the catcher gave me the signal for.

think of it like spinning the ball on the opposite side of where you want it to move. as for forward spin, it's what makes a curveball violently drop and the goal is to throw this pitch really fast so it wouldn't work like that, what you want to do is get around the baseball on the inside which will happen naturally with wrist pronation, the ball will spin off your fingers from the inside and top of the ball, matched with it's speed it will move like crazy

When you’re doing this, do not “twist” your wrist into pronation. You will mess your shoulder up by artificially mimicking torque. Instead, focus on “slashing” through the inside half of that ball from the top/outside through to your opposite hip. This will create that arm-side break without “twisting”.
