- I compared the Flecktogon and the MIR-20 in this video as promised in chapter 49.
And, a short focal length explained.

Very cool!
Thanks for your comment.
The MIR is much brighter than the Flektogon.
Cool video. I managed to buy that 20mm Flektogon. The 24mm has eluded me. So far. I use it for video (short movies, documentaries)
Thanks for your comment. May I introduce you to the Contax Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8? "This is the Contax Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8. Chapter 11." This lens may have the same tag price as the Flektogon, but it is more user-friendly-it is easier to focus, renders bold color, is almost distortion-free, and is razor sharp.
tyvm for the video. I must admit - I prefer the rendering of the Mir for these specific images - very wild. However for real world shooting, I would probably prefer the Zeiss, go into post and make the necessary adjustments.
Thank you for the comment. I got the two worlds but I 100% prefer the Zeiss. If you shoot a vast land with the low-resolution MIR, even with "focus assisting" or "peaking" turned on, assisted lines may not be visible.
