- The FOG is upon us! - OP Deep Mining,
We want them to go! They brought us only pain and misery and we needed to flee our town.
Now we came to a new place to start over and they are back. It's time to stand our ground and push back.
OP Deep Mining is a story about a powerful company that doesn't care about human life, only about profit. It's a story where we take side with the civilians and push back, as hard as we can.
Viking Ops is an organizer with a heart for the game. Whenever I can, I will be present on their games, because they are just amazing. All the people fall in their role and play the part, without any ego or disrespect. We always have a good time and this was no exception.
I tried to film bits and pieces of the event because I wanted to focus on the game itself. But I still had some footage to create this video. It's different style, so any feedback is more than welcome.

It was really fun to see your story from the civy/rebel side and your ingenuity. Interesting to see my TF squad and where we could improve on guarding but also on Larp. Thnx a lot for the footage! Looking forward for our next encounter!
That's one of the reasons I like to make those videos. I miss that to see how other people did their things. You learn a lot on how things are done. I also know that I make it harder on myself because I need to find new ways to be a pain in the ass and cover my tracks even more.
It's fun to see them think and know it was me but they just can't prove it :D
This was an amazing game, and an even more amazing AO. The buildings were perfect, and the fog itself couldn't have been any better had it been special-ordered for the event.
From my perspective as a small field owner, I loved seeing a fantastic complex game like this that doesn't involve hundreds of players. I mean, I can only imagine the absolute chaos if there had been a hundred players per team, but I feel the overall gameplay would have suffered from that.
Also, Skinny's outfit was perfect.
I do love your videos, and this one is a perfect example of why. I'll definitely be sharing this one with my players.

The Viking Ops games are amazing. They can handle a bit more players but you're correct, if you have hundreds of players it's chaos to keep them to do what the story needs.
This video was a little bit weird to make and I'm used to making the whole story. But again I learned that story telling and using footage of the game can tell a large chunk of the story. That's why this year Berget video will be different, I just don't have time to make the multipart one. I'm not even finished with last years :D

Agree! The build up on those games is usually a bit of the same, you start slow and after a while it explodes. But you never know when.
We had one game where they knew it was us doing all the crap but they could never prove it. We destroyed all evidence, used disguises, different routes, codes,... It was so frustrating for them, but so fun that they kept in character and went with the story. It's easy for them to burst in and shoot us all for no reason but they didn't.
Looks and sounds like a amazing game!
Ooooh Viking Ops are always fun. As a player you need to dive into the game without asking to many questions. Color within the lines of the game and play the game as it was meant to be played by the organiser.
