      Check the USMC combat manual. Marine tactics are all in buddy pairs, which is much more achievable, for civilians. LEA tactics are immensely useful, as well, as its all based in the two-man partnership and standardized tactics to coordinate multiple partner teams, in realtime.

So i am playing a game named rec room where i had tryed copy some of the field training camps and would love to try see if i could get some of this, about how to move as a team in as training also because i could find it fun and smart as using the moving tactic in shooting games. Question 1: Shouldn’t your type of room entry depend on the purpose of the assault(?)?? Searching rooms, the pie is the safest method, more so if hostile are present. Dynamic entry is preferable if dealing with hostage situations or important evidential recovery (hard drives, etc). • @izkh4lif4
      @izkh4lif4 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don’t want to be directly behind the vehicle clearing the alleyway or road, the vehicle is armored so it is meant to bear the brunt of fire in case fire fight breaks out. Usually teams would split into two columns on either side of the road, bounding from intersection to intersection, keeping a spacing away from the vehicle in front in case of fragmentation or RPG while it clears the way.

    • @DerexWolfheart
      @DerexWolfheart 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U don't move in a stack, u always stay outside grenade range when ur moving in formation, u would be in a staggered column formation.if u expect contact u would either move in a bounding over watch or successive over watch. successive is preferred because ur lead team Will be more likely to make contact so ur trailing team can stay as the manuevering element

      @@robertgreen6027 If you were to use what was previously the most effective combat strategy, (Literally a large block of men) on a modern battlefield, you would be annihilated by artillery, air, missiles, machine guns, and armor long before you were able to engage the enemy effectively. It doesn't necessarily matter whether you have body armor, assault rifles, NVGs, etc. if you use tactics that have been made less effective, or ineffective. An unmotivated conscript with an AKM will probably not outperform an incredibly skilled shooter with a bolt action, however if that skill gap narrows any further, the differences in technology between the two are great enough to allow operator skill to become less important. You can get by with old equipment and tactics as long as either: A: Your opponent is so incompetent that pretty much any tactic would work; or B: Your technology is on the same plateau as your enemies. The M16, FAMAS, AUG and AK74 are on the same plateau. The M1 rifle, G43, SVT40, etc. is below that, followed by bolt actions, as you get progressively further behind technologically, until, at some point, you reach the rock. A rock is still capable of killing someone, but your troops armed with rocks would get pulverized by even a lightly equipped (my modern standards) infantry squad. That's just reality.

    • @izkh4lif4
      @izkh4lif4 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Obviously no, no time. Grenade takes 5 seconds to detonate, a full ak47 mag can be emptied in around 3 to 4 seconds. A full ak mag could potentially take out a breaching team in the stack at close range, less than 50 meters. So, no time to toss frag if under pressure from outside, in this situation I would toss smoke outside the room on approach, then breach, if we were under fire. Usually in combat zone it’s standard operating procedure to toss smoke on your way towards the target building to cover your approach, if threat is suspected in the surrounding area, and it’s daytime.

      One man CQB is a detriment to your safety. In your FPS, whatever it may be, get a good team and learn CQB tactics together. It’s worth it, and much more immersive, and it helps with creating good communication skills, teamwork, and using your brain to solve complex problems.

    • @izkh4lif4
      @izkh4lif4 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@truenemesisprime550 the reason one man CQB is a 50/50 is because the art of CQB is about maintaining 360 degree security at all times, this is why teams use walls cause it slices off 180 degrees of security that needs to be monitored. One man is only capable of seeing around 60 to 90 degrees, 45 if in combat and tunnel vision sets in. It’s the same in video games, but tunnel vision is constant cause you have no peripheral vision, and you can’t turn your head to look around you, unless you have free look like in milsim games like Arma, but the limited field of view and controls inhibit your ability to engage a target like you would in real life. What is really hard to do with a team, both in games and real life is maintaining 360 degree security, cause you have to trust that your buddy will have his sector of fire and won’t be shot. The fundamentals of CQB is stealth, speed, and violence of action. Stealth means you must do everything to remain undetected, speed does not mean how fast you physically move forward but how fast you can identify and engage a target, and violence of action means deliberate and decisive actions meant to overwhelm your opponent through force and sensory deprivation, for example taking points of domination in a room and filling the room with bodies to overwhelm the enemy inside the room.

      @izkh4lif4 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you are by yourself, and you are facing a concealed enemy greater in number to you, you will have to get lucky to survive. Even if you are a civvy running around with no weapon in a hot zone, expect to be shot at from both Blufor and Opfor sides 😂, unless you have comms with friendly forces, then try to make your way towards your friendlies position laterally, let them know you are coming. do not approach from or towards their base of fire, or you may be caught in the crossfire if an active firefight is occurring. Use building and terrain cover for masking your position. Try to stay off roads, alleys, and walkways. Move through areas where you would expect very little foot traffic. If you are stuck behind enemy lines, you will have to sneak past enemy forces. Find a high building, unoccupied hopefully, where you can scout out possible movement. If you have a map, use it to identify your position and your friendly forces position via dead reckoning and whatever intel you had before you ended up in this God forsaken situation. Once you have conducted reconnaissance of your general area, use your brain to plot the path of movement towards your friendly forces so that you won’t be spotted. Good luck 😆🤙🏽
