I just wanna be 6 years old again, playing this game and making friends in kindergarten. I love this game so much and every time I play it I feel so happy yet so sad because those younger days where everything was bright and sunny are long gone and replaced with the bitter realization that life is now plagued with responsibility and my perception of things is colored by the misfortune that I have since become aware of
I relate so much to this sadly, i don’t know what’s going on but right now i’m going through the motions, i’m not depressed but i just don’t feel the same happiness anymore and i worry too much about the smallest of things. Playing video games isn’t as enjoyable as when i was a kid either but that’s not surprising as you had a better imagination as a kid. I just like you wish there was a way to feel like a kid again. The only thing that really takes me back is by playing games i played during my childhood or listening to music from the games. The whole soundtrack for the first Jak game is truly a masterpiece, every track is memorable and unique.
1:00 - 1:10 Those 10 seconds remind me so much of Jak II and Jak 3 that I now believe the music of the first game was warning us. "This is just the beggning, seriously, you have no idea, this whole game is just a giant tutorial".
This is the first time I am listening to the pre console version of the sound track. The console version was already great, but hearing all the details in the music that were lost on console is a great experience! Jak and Daxter precursor legacy in my opinion has one of the best ambient soundtracks in a video game, and I really appreciate that you took the time to post some tracks from the album! I hope that in the future we have the possibility to buy the album digitally or maybe even physically, independent of the collectors edition of the game. Either way, thank you again for uploading this!
This is one of those videogame songs that live rent free in my head, and every now and then just pops in my memory and today I had to search it, man good old times
I never grew up with J&D, but I love the series a lot and I can totally feel the nostalgia people have for this area. It's the perfect playground for a young gamer to mess around in for hours and just explore to their heart's content. I adore those kinds of games.
This was played on the Main Menu too. Also, don't other instruments come in when you get near certain characters, I remember a banjo when you go near the farm.
I remember trying to swim out in the ocean, guttural growl and rapid heartbeat commenced, eaten alive, kinda the subnautica ocean fear before it even existed, never did it again, the village was chill though, best way i can describe the feel from back in the day, a hug, just comforting. Remembering this, blissful nostalgia
This atmosphere does justice to Josh Mancell's score. I could be wrong but I think you changed some notes around the 0.36 mark. Aside from that... Man, I LOVE the visual presentation of this video. Very professional. Very Naughty Dog.
I think these are Beta versions of the Soundtrack that got released which is probably the reason most of these sound different compared to what everyone is used to.
god i remember when my uncle handed me the game when i was 7 or 8, I had no idea what it was and i had no clue what i was going into. He gave me the PS3 trilogy and i pretty much only played the first game... the memories.
When I get the aux cord
🚗🎶
The 1 dislike is from the person who tried to jump across the Fire Canyon without 20 power cells
lmao
im just thinking about a remake of this game with the todays graphics and everything and with this music ... i would be in heaven ..
If this game gets the Battle for Bikini Bottom treatment that’s easy money
doesn't need to look hyper realistic for it to be good, nowadays most games are in uncanny valley
@@MartinMeli It just needs the Spyro and Crash Trilogy remaster/remake treatment
game doesnt need a remake. its a timeless game
@@lorddshqipe3016 well it is timeless thats true, it just needs some rehash on some textures like as an real remaster and not just a port 😅
After nearly 20 years later, this shit still slaps 🔥🔥
my eternal gamer soul be dancing in my grave when they play this at the funeral
This song lives rent free in my head to this very day.
Me too

Always felt comforting hearing this… you knew you were back to safety 😂
I got this game about a week ago, on my birthday. This is my first Jak and Daxter series, holy crap..
Why this series underrated?

So many options! I remember Christmas morning helping out the villagers of Sandover for the first time with various tasks
Wowowowowowowowow this sounds so different! I'm shocked

Such a nostalgic ost

Excellent to see this amazing ost still listened by so many!
This game was godly

This game changed the platform genre forever. What a game
Time for a goddamn remake.
The game of my life.
Yesterday I Got the HD Collection for PS3.
I love the little bloopy bleeps they put in the song.
I miss this series.
If only they would remake these games :(
This was the first ever game i played on my PS2 back in 2001 when i was only 10 years old. I always remember this theme it stuck with me for years.
I just feel like a Jak and Daxter remake on PS5 would be so beautiful ✨️✨️

this game is why I have a fear of the depths lol

My childhood 🥹
the 6 dislikes are from people who couldnt find that last power cell to repair the bike
beat got me throwing it back
Classic
Naughty Dog is too busy making 'Art'. Just give us more Jak already!!!

@@eoruhtra Adoro Jak 2
Such good memories
If jak and daxter ever get in smash (which is very unlikely sadly) i would love a remix and the original version of this track included with the DLC
god i remember when my uncle handed me the game when i was 7 or 8, I had no idea what it was and i had no clue what i was going into. He gave me the PS3 trilogy and i pretty much only played the first game... the memories.
Sandover Village & Geyser Rock (Title Screen) - Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Archives
I want to go to there
(Tries to swim to the cool island in the distance)
(Gets eaten by fish immediately)
(Does it again)
If my childhood had a theme.
Seaside Village (Title screen) - Jak and Daxter The Cut Adventure
Sandover Village (Opening Level) - Jak and Daxter The Lost Sequel
Ps2 nostalgia
This song has a lot of similarities to The Great Gate/Native Fortress in Crash Bandicoot
Sandover Village (Gayser Rock & Title Screen) - Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Extended Version
Does anyone know what kind of drums were used for this theme?
Could you do the Samos's Hut mix? This videos quality is good and I love the hut remix.
hello Boomer, is there any way to get this background?
this sounds a little different
