    Can they design this for Bush clearing instead of it being at the bottom of a mower.

    How often do you have to change the auger on this machine though?

      Hey Mark,
      From what we've seen over the years with our customers, you can safely expect to get between 3-5 years of life out of a brush before needing replacement.

    I've never seen a video were these things clear more than a little dusting of snow.

      Hey Charles,
      Thanks for the comment. Brooms, and this goes for all snow removal brooms, are not designed to handle more than a few inches of snow. If it's deeper than about 4 inches you would need to have a snow blower or a plow. What brooms excel at is getting right down to the surface where plows and snow blowers would leave some snow behind. They are also great tools for uneven surfaces/walkways where a snow blower or plow could catch an edge. Also, snow blowers, and to a greater extent plows, can leave rust marks behind from the cutting edge scraping metal across the surface.
      The bottom line is no snow removal tool is perfect in ever condition but for smaller accumulations, brooms are a fantastic tool.

    hows this setup work with wind against you?

    • @TurfTeq
      @TurfTeq ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends on the snow conditions. If its heavy wet snow it won't really effect the operator but if the snow is light powder it can blow back. Aftermarket snow blower enclosures are available and can be adapted to fit the broom machine to prevent the operator from getting any snow blown back on them. Also, if its possible you should always try to have the wind at you back or blowing sideways. We understand this is not always possible.

    To bad there are not small angular pieces on top to shoot snow a little to the side

    • @TurfTeq
      @TurfTeq ปีที่แล้ว

      The attachment does pivot 16 degrees right/left (32 degrees overall movement) to throw the snow to the side. So the quick answer is, it already has the ability to move snow to the side.
