Wow! Would loved to have had this 40 - 45 years ago as a teenager cleaning sidewalks and driveways on my street! Lovely and awesome tool for sure. God bless lovely family!
Hey Marty, what a pleasure to receive a refreshing comment. Lol always great to hear from you! I put a short out recently that got a lot of negative comments. Quite funny so all the more wonderful to hear from a good man like you. God bless you and have a great day.
@@TheLovelyPlaceit is so easy to say negative stuff. I have learned (and still learning because I am nowhere near perfect) to keep quiet if I can’t be positive or uplifting. I believe people forget the greatest advantage of TH-cam…..that is to watch and learn. What works for some may not work for all. @@martyh299 I appreciate that. I will definitely say that I learn from the majority of comments even if negative. I like the fact that it doesn’t throw snow too far. I live in a townhouse community and our properties are small and so at the risk of pissing off my neighbor I’d rather a couple of passes to clean off my property, then to piss somebody off and having to do their property as well out of courtesy.
I use all kinds of equipment but honestly considering you take 3 passes to do each area, I wonder if the energy expelled it about the same with a shovel just pushing that. (considering that is light powdering snow and is easy to push) If it was heavier I would say not. You have to move that back and forth 3 times and push against the rubber blades sliding on the surface. 3x versus once harder with a shovel. I have all milwaukee tools and the quick lok system. I also have a greenworks 40v power shovel. Because it is designed for snow it requires only one pass maybe 2 versus the 3 for this. The problem is this leaves too much behind and kicks it back. The power shovel does not. The power shovel also throws much farther requiring less repeat passes to move it away.
I bet that’s a nice tool but I have to say that I have lived here many years and shoveled a lot of snow and the Milwaukee rubber broom is absolutely easier in this old man than the shovel is.
You can push this one handed. Way less effort than shoveling imo. Power broom will make it cleaner than any shovel. Also one hand pushable other than when you’re getting rid of stubborn spots.
@ based on my use of it, I would be concerned about ice the day after. Because it is flexible rubber I am afraid it would not remove the hard ice. It’s great for the powder ❄️ for sure!
The difference is that this doesn't require you to pick up and throw shovelfuls of snow, which is murder on the lower back. I'll stand out pushing this thing around for twice as long if I never have to lift a shovel of heavy snow again.
I have nearly all the qwik loc attachments but I don't have that one. I think I might have to add that to my collection for the once a year that it snows around here.
@@TheKingOfInappropriateComments you might as well brother! That one has been my final one to date. You got the whole lineup so go get that puppy. I’m sure you’ll find some other uses for it as well.
@@TheLovelyPlace we had a layer of ice underneath and i just had to break some holes in that, let it sit for an hour or so then I went back with the blower and chipped it all off. That's what made it so satisfying was the sheet of ice that was lifting up with the air underneath then flying away in pieces.
I’d like to see Milwaukee actually make a dedicated power shovel. Considering buying the one on Amazon that’s compatible with Milwaukee batteries but my better judgment says it’s probably junk.
I actually like manual shoveling🤣…..but I have a large blue stone patio and path the is uneven that catches every single push….this might be my answer!
@@actshunterrell615 not a scratch after all of that! Really stands up. Just keep an eye on it and monitor it but I believe it will last for a very long time.
Milwaukee should make a leveler attachment. when you get a few feet of snow and then it rains, you get this slush soup, the snowblower will not throw it. It just pukes it out the side. people drive through it as its semi-frozen and when it freezes solid it is a wicked mess. Then the snowblower is useless on this substrate if it snows again. It just gets stuck in 3-4in deep frozen ruts with sharp peaks that it get caught on and wont go forward. Need something to level these messes once they freeze solid.....this seems to happen every season now, sometimes (usually) 2-3 times a season.
my 40v Ryobi power shovel throws about 5 feet. A bit further if you go slower and let it spin up faster. More than 5 inches of snow and you will be doing multiple passes on the same spot.Struggles with ice chunks at the end of the driveway. Leaves about an eighth of an inch of snow on the ground because the edge is plastic so it doesnt scrape decks and the edge is thick so it is durable... but it also doesnt get down all the way down through the snow to the driveway.
$300 for an attachment? You can get a nice brand new snow blower or an excellent used one for $300, which will do the job arguably much better. Plus, see how this wing performs on the wet or on the icy snow... In my opinion, a good idea, but too expensive for a pretty limited use case.
Cool idea but it looks like more work than shoveling and would take 3 times as long. Plus the amount you spend on the tool, the quick connect, and a few 12AH batteries, you could buy a decent snowblower.
its actually a tool for pushing things aeound and cleaning things in construction sites as well. it actually is nice for a wide variety of things. he just happened to push snow wirh it
@@johnill7000 if I remember correctly, I did that entire area with one 6 amp power HD battery. But that was last winter and I honestly can’t be 100% sure.
The rubber roller works good in all. The only thing is you have to do at least two passes in one row to get the snow cleared. Milwaukee should’ve came up with a guard/shield attached to the rubber roller so when you do push the snow forward it will follow suit and the shield will prevent the snow from going backwards just a thought. Great job though it goes right down to the pavement, which is a plus looks good.
Looks like it does good to me plus how many times do you have to shovel in one area with a regular snow shovel don’t see it being anymore work actually looks like less and won’t hurt your back
I would say it’s more work than a shovel in that snow, I could not do my 2 car wide 30 ft drive with it, maybe ok for sidewalks but it needs a guard to keep the snow from going over top
@@lowellachziger2787 I think the key to that issue is just let it lay there and do the work for you. I found myself trying to manhandle it, and that would just wear you out when I realized that the spinning action will easily move it with a slight pull or tug motion that made a big difference.
Not a problem, that's when you get the big boy toys out. Tractor with PTO to drive shaft to 47" two-stage snowblower, it don't care if the snow plow makes a 5' bank at the end of the driveway. The Milwaukee rubber broom looks really nice for what it's intended for.

For light powder snow like he’s dealing with,my leaf blower gets,it done!No need for my Ariens for that powdered stuff
