Toyota pickups will always have a special place in my heart. I used to have a 1982 2WD Toyota pickup with no power steering or power brakes. That truck was a blast! I still miss her...
Thanks Medic for talking about scale setups, and personal prefrence on builds. I have an old 72 farm truck I built, and when I post up vids everyone has somthing for me to improve. My trucks not perfect, and does'nt wheel the best, but its just how I like it. I actually detuned it to make wheeling a little more chalenging. Anyway, thanks man, you rock!
Thanks medic for the videos, and the forums. It had rekindled the love I had for RC's when I was in high school. Getting back in the hobby thanks to your videos. Bought a crawler and I love it and my wife loves it. I'm now saving up to buy her a little basher to drive around. She likes to go fast and jump things. Thanks again
Nice trucks Medic. I love the aging process you've done to them. I really enjoy your studio tutorial videos more than running videos. I actually rather work on Rc more than driving them. The mechanics and function of all the small parts working together fascinates me. Thanks Medic for all you do.
You know, isn't that the truth.. and something that not many people consider. YES.. we spend more time fixing our trucks then driving them.. but isnt it like that in full scale as well?! Some people are not prepared for the maintenance they have to do!
Hello! I am glad some family time is shared! Sorry I am not out on the trail.. but to keep the trucks running.. they all need special attention.. haha :) Thanks again! I see your video with me is doing quite well! Congrats on your Huge subscriber growth! Awesome !
***** Hey Medic i really enjoy your videos and i even have a rc myself. I have a traxxas rustler vxl and you shoud make a video on a rustler. I cant wait to drive it in the winter!!!!!!!!
***** Hey you dont have to be sorry. I felt sorry to all my subscribers cause I got way sick recently and I wasnt able to continue my Axial SCX10 G6 build for over a week and half cause of it. I'm still coughing but I'm slowly trying to get back to doing it again. My wife and I was talking about how grateful we were for you doing all that for us and helping our channel grow. It has meant a ton to us as a family. Thanks again Aaron. ;-)
Totally Time for more Wrench along with Medic Vids. I wrench on my junk in the evenings and it's nice to listen to RC content. With very few (1 good one) podcasts and the off Video it's nice to have stuff playing to wrench to. Cheers Buddy
Hey medic. I must be honest i watch your videos to get ideas for my daily driver. Love the bull bars and scale items you make and incorporate! Keep at it mate!
That was a quick 19.36 minuet video, you know what they say =(time sure fly's when your having fun) Thanks for the re-assurance about not being a cookie cutter hobby, make it your way! And by all means be happy with what you have. good job my friend - as always.
Good video medic. It was a great hang out session. It was very relaxing to watch and I enjoyed it very much. It also reminded me I got some fixing to do.
I was thinking of building a custom RC truck from an old Tonka Chevrolet monster truck. It is very very beaten and battered, but I think that it would look brilliant as an RC, and that it would really give one of my favorite childhood toys a great new lease on life.
I watched this, it's a great video, as relevant now as it was 3-..4yrs ago.... Thank's.... However, I'm still confused as ever, lol.... Too much to pick from..... I certainly wish that all perks were gone..... none.... notta,,,, fineto,,,,, so that there was no tendency to fudge a little toward you benefactor...... I know people try very hard to be without any preformed opinions but it's got to be very hard... You have been a great help... Thanks, again, Mike....
12:30ish... I keep telling myself the same thing Medic, it's not about what other people think, it's my truck, built my way for me! Of Course when you have built a crazy hybrid 2wd desert racer/crawler... yea...
Dude.. people will always try to bring you down so they can feel better about their sh!t. Truth is.. If YOU are happy.. its them that has the problem ;)
***** Truer words have never been said. It is not important what other people say or think. What is important is that you enjoy doing what makes you happy.
Bro you nailed it right on the head, Just moved back to the city where i have a HUGE!!! freshly redone church parking lot so i decided to take my old mini-t out just for the hell of it (needs a total rebuild just can't afford it) with the little bit of snow we got the cocky kid up the street with his traxxas x whatever number it is tried to race me while he blew his servo out and roasted the non waterproof electronics i went flying around him felt good hopefully if i can rebuild this i'll be able to make a vid i plan on putting two smaller motors in rear mount brushed of course for a little buggie the thing has balls so i want to see what i can get out my first real r/c wish me luck.
Top gear UK is my favorite show of all time! Kinda awesome you have a Top gear "How to kill a Toyota Hilux", because your channel is my most favorite channel on TH-cam! 2 of my favorite things, in one place!!! AWESOME!!!! :D I really wish I had some more crawling tires to mess with on my SCX10...Sigh,I need a job...Badly! I'm sure if I want more RC's, or, or more crawling tires...LOL! Question, have you happened to have seen the Vaterra Twin hammers? It would be Mepic if you decided to get one of those things...The certainly look like a fun rig!
Medic i just want to say u r such an inspiration to me and my rc team u build some of the coolest things and i just wanted to give an idea for a build, u could build a custom ford ranger with a custom rc sparks paint job
+RCSparks Studio I love all your videos! I just really wish that you would leave a link where you get all your trucks! So I could see if i could get some my self! Thanks!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed the very clear video... :) Medic,, how about side by side comparison of the TF2 and the tundra?.... want to see them both. thank you in advance...
Medic! Thanks for showin off some more toys:) This video poses a question though, us new guys are under the assumption that brushless + mud = big nono. How are you able to take your rigs out bashing with such an expensive motor setup and still make it home in relatively few pieces? Thanks
I waterproof my Brushless setups.. :) I mentioned in the video though, that I do not show how to waterproof Sensored Brushless motors, because Mine only works 85% of the time when I do it.. Lol I have ad people try to come back on me when they do something that breaks their machine cause they watch a video of mine. Hence the disclaimer in the bottom of every video!
I know you are only really interested in scale trucks but u should get an scx10 or trail finder and lower it and make it in to a minitruck/lowlux 2wd or 4wd street car lowered with cool rims :)
Hey medic, love your videos. I have a quick question for you. I am looking to put some decent lipos to put in my truck but I am not sure which brand to go with. I'm running some 4wd 1/8 scale trucks with mamba monsters. I don't have much money to spend but I'm willing to look into anything. Thanks and keep up the good work!
awesome tires and wheels ,mate ...good overall, even rock since they are so sodt but specially mud, at least inRL is mud pattern...super cool!unfortenatly trailfinder2 is out of stock in rc4wd...do this trucks have lights?
hey medic I know all rcs are different but my scx10 stock servo did that and I replaced my radio and that was my problem not the servo it still works fine.
one mod I did to my TF2 is I put the steering links all above the leaf springs and I have a high steering link conversion for free all I costed was time
Medic when I break stuff on my truck I get irritated and mad, but you just laugh and don't care haha how do you do that? Also when you put those big tires on it, does it limit the suspension?
My friend.. truthfully.. I am just like everyone else. BUT.. I also understand that if I dont be patient an laugh stuff off.. then life would be too stressful! Its a hobby, if your not having fun - then why do it?! ;) Keep on truckin', my friend!
I've seen servos move on their own like that in my experience it just needs a type of glitch buster or capacitor to help the servo voltage. Dont know if thats your case...
Drug truck hauling keys. That's so rad!!😆😆

Medic! Your the best RC channel on TH-cam in my opinion. You should make a huge video with most of your RCs in it!
Thank you my friend.. but your request is impossible.. Too many RC's to work in one video!
Haha i know! i watched your video on your studio and you have a lot of cars.
Medic, the day i found your channel i became an addict. Thanks to you i have several trucks and my favorite being the MGT 8.0, hell of a machine!

Hey Medic what ever happened to the Ford FW-60 rc tractor?
great videos by the way!
Just wondering medic, will you ever get an axial Exo?
I had one Enzo, but I gave it to Young David Jr (my RC Mechanic!) I gave it to him for building "the black widow" for me..
it looks like it felt from a beeing destroyed building *wink *wink
I miss Top Gear.
were do u get these trucks, they look so cool
You probably don't read this, but if you do, Isn't it an option to use 90 degrees bullets into the shorty?
