Amazing setup! I have nothing not as neat but rather similar (ICP and MFDs plus button box bolted in a wood plank). How bang on did u manage to get the reaching distance to MFDs and ICP compared to VR? For me its like if i were going to press the button in VR, my hand will meet the MFD but its at a much shorter distance, if that makes sense.
They are pretty spot on with height because of the mounts that they are on. They can be moved up and down to match what I see in VR. But the fore and aft, I have to calibrate them when I first start up because I use a regular office chair.

Thank you, I do have a setup that I use for MiG-29 and Su-27, actually all of the red aircraft. I put a vote up to the community to see what aircraft I should feature next. There was little interest.
But I can work on a video for the red aircraft.

No, it's an Ergo Office chair and not a gaming chair or Boeing Seat. That was the deal with the wife. Everything has to be portable and can be put away. She says I have to look normal when we have visitors. 😆

How does it feel flying in VR with all of the panels? Is it a lot of muscle memory that allows you to use all of your panels?
It feels intuitive, work flow is streamed lined because I try to match the panels in VR with physical panels. So when I reach out in VR, I hit a real switch, and after a while, you develop muscle memory where you don't have to look down to flip a switch.

Hey man i was wondering, where do you fire flares in your setup? (Im asking because i dont see any Chaff/flare button on the throttle)
On the F16 the chaff and flares are controlled on the flight stick. 4 way switch on the left side of the stick. It's called the Countermeasures Management Switch.

What do you use for head tracking? Also nice setup, im hoping to achieve something similar but more primitive than this
I don't use head tracking, like Track IR. I use a Virtual Reality Headset to fly iin DCS - HP Reverb G2 VR Headset.
