Back in August of 21 I bought the "Meinl Cymbals Classics Custom Dark Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Dark Crash" package here in the states and its been a staple of my studio kit since then. They are perfect for indie rock and heavier music but took a week or so of playing a few hours a day to really get a great sound. This video just makes me want more types of Meinls!
Pure alloy, pure alloy custom, traditional thin crash, classic custom are the best. But MB8 dan MB10 medium crash are sounds amazing too for a budget friendly crash.
Great comp but you missed the best one the brilliant series . The name is deceiving tho cause it’s a little darker sound than the traditional with a beautiful deep wash . I have the 19 on my acoustic kit and the 20 in my plug ins for the electronics . Best crash ever imo . The pure alloys sound good on here . I have an 18 Pure Alloy Custom and love it.
That's their best? I'm not really liking any of them that much. What else they got? I used to like the classics and some of the other ones. I understand the trend seems to be darker cymbals but that's not really what I like. I guess I'll stick with Paiste, Zildjian and Sabian. I think I like the pure alloy but they're pretty pricey and if I'm going to pay that much I might as well get Paiste.
Meinl makes the best looking cymbals period 👌😁

Very nice comparison! Thank you! I enjoyed Classics series so much!

The pure crash does sound nice and I'm intrigued by the dual crash ride .
Great looking cymbals.
j'adore mes cymbales Meinl
16" ❤️
I need a new 20 inch crash that can handle a good ass whipping. Any suggestions 😂

Meinl’s Byzance Heavy Hammered Brilliant cymbals are amazing for clarity. Or the older MB20 stuff, those cymbals defined Metal from 2005-2012.
No this is not at all everything they have, their Byzance models are worth the look
I like MB8 and MB10 series ... They sounds amazing.@@FanaticDrummer
