yeah i think the gap from ikea blinds will be easily overlooked because you see so many other normal blinds being placed side by side with each other haa, but if your window has a thick frame inbetween then its fine

Yeah these 3 are solutions are definitely worth considering
This is indeed perfect for my daughter's room which faces the setting sun. The room boils up in the afternoon and by the time, we are home, it is way too late to close the window and waste to much energy to cool it. If we can get this, it will mean we can have it close at the right time of the day and open just nice to see the setting sun. Alex, thanks for a good recommendation and video again! I had shared your video to a curtain shop and he is so happy that I did it, it's like a miracle to him. Thank you once again!!

retrofit solution is like this, it's much cheaper than motorized so pros and cons. I am ok with the sound as its already somewhat the same as doing it manually

typically 4-6 months on paper, that depends how many times you open/close them everyday. 2-3 months is good enough for me
