saddest part of the entire show for me mostly because its extremely easy for me to relate to both Robby and Miguel regarding their fatherfigure relationship, maybe more Robby but still. I hurt so fucking much for Miguel.
Seriously, this series improve with every season, the writing, the acting, the fights, the plot, the characters... I'm addicted to this and can't wait to see season 5.
The writing does not improve they literally did the same season finale twice is eat twice last 2 seasons bad guy takes over From the guy who brought him in
@@SuperSaiyanBroku which makes is so good, kreese wanted nothing more than to destroy eagle fang/Miyagi do but still cares about Johnny regardless and relaxes on no mercy. While Terry has gone on the deep end by removing the one person who was a threat to him, Kreese.

That, to me, might be the single most poignant scene in the entire series. From the start of the series up to that point, we see Daniel living like he's still under Mr. Miyagi's shadow with his idealistic view of the man & his teachings, but once we listen to what was written in Mr. Miyagi's letter, we learn that Mr. Miyagi actually had his fair share of regrets in life and that he acknowledges that he learned a lot in teaching Daniel, showing that he's not really the "perfect" sensei that Daniel always viewed him as but in fact a flawed human being like everyone else. I think that scene is when Daniel truly embraced being a sensei.
It really hit me hard because my entire life my father never once told me that he loved me he always acted like he could barely tolerate being in the same room with me
I never understood why it was so sad. Johnny was blind drunk and had no idea who was who and was just rambling. Now if he said I love you Miguel to Robbie then that’s a whole different story since that’s his actual son. Miguel knows Johnny loves him by his actions. Robbie is the one that needs to hear that as Johnny was never there for him.
For me the tear jerker was Robby and Johnny , if my brother and friend weren’t there I probably would’ve cried , Robbies cry for forgiveness was so hard to hear and Johnny and Robbie hugging it out
The arm break is by far the saddest moment for me in the whole series. Gianni's acting in that scene is incredible and I feel it in my gut more than any other scene.
So we're going to completely ignore Johnny and Robby's beautiful moment at the season 4 finale? A moment that took 4 years to happen. A father son moment.
@@sonicblaze2004 firstly of all ı think that scene was a too emotional but wasn't sad it was happy moment also even if it's like you said (for me) Miguel's scene more heart shattering
# 4, Drunk Johnny, was crushing. That is # 1 for me. # 2, Miguel falling, was # 1 until season 4 came. I think the scene stunned me more than anything, but the voicemail that Miguel left was what crushed me in season 2.
Aww I love Miguel so much. He and Johnny’s relationship is so beautiful. I was so upset when Robbie kicked Miguel over the balcony. Awful. And he never even tried to make amends, blamed everyone else and never took responsibility. I try to like Robby, he has some of the best karate in the show, but his refusal to hold himself accountable for nearly killing Miguel after Miguel showed him mercy is just hard for me to overlook. The writers could have done better dealing with that in season 3 and with showing some residual emotional trauma in Miguel from dealing with that whole experience.
He attacked robbie at camp, he attacked his injury, he attacked him trying to protect sam from tory, mocked him using his father. One apology wont cut it.
It's because he's been manipulated by Kreese even before he thinks how bad his actions is. And as seen in the ending how he realize his mistakes. And I bet he will try and make up for all his bad actions in season 5.
He was definitely traumatized. He just didn’t show it. He tried to use Reese but Kreese ended up manipulating Robby. He will definetly realize his mistakes in s5 and make up with Miguel.
Yea I honestly don’t like some of the changes in between season 2 and 3 like in season 2 Robby seemed so full of guilt and regret when he kicked broke Miguel’s back but in season 3 he just dosent care and still hates miguel no regret and no guilt thankfully he’s a lot better in season 4 at least imo
What makes this show so wonderful is that like Miyagi’s teachings; this show is so balanced. It’s not too serious but it hits well on the dramatic arc on each character’s journey especially characters like Johnny, Miguel, Robby, Daniel, & Hawk The scene where he was drunk & Johnny responded to Robby’s name instead of Miguel was so sad but conflicting. On one hand it’s nice to see how much Johnny truly loves his son & was willing to fight for him to protect him as much he did for Miguel. On the other hand it was also sad to see Miguel’s reaction after Johnny’s response. Heartbreaking as it was, this is probably what his character needed in this season & the next. Throughout the show, Miguel never known his birth father aside from the bad things told by his mother, but inside I believe he feels like a part of himself was missing & unconsciously he thought he found his identity in his father figure/sensei with Johnny. However after everything that happened to him from his conflict with Robby, his time in Cobra Kai, his injury, his newfound bond with Daniel, & being caught in between his sensei’s rivalry; Miguel is starting to question on what kind of person he wants to be, especially with graduation around the corner. So him wanting to know more about his birth father would be another essential stepping stone on his character arc & hopefully he & Robby will may have a chance to get to know one another & no longer repeat their sensei’s mistakes & come together as allys & friends in the coming obstacles by Cobra Kai now led by Terry Silver.😌
Tommy's death is easily number 1, especially for people that grew up watching the original movie. Seeing Tommy dying in a hospital bed followed by the flashback of Johnny, Tommy and Bobby when they were young and carefree was heart wrenching.
Waiting 2 years to find out the fate of Miguel was absolute torture. I was so hyped when he fully recovered and was so pissed when I thought he injured himself in season 4 episode 9. Thankfully it was only a pulled muscle.
As someone who had just finished binge watching 5 straight seasons of Cobra Kai, I can only imagine what it must have felt like for the OG fans having to wait that long to find out the fate of a fan favorite character while dealing with the uncertainties of the pandemic. 🥶
Seeing Stingray getting beaten senseless at the end of S4 in one of the last episodes was also really heartbreaking. All he wanted to do was join Cobra Kai because it meant the most to him and that night he even said it was the greatest night of his life after believing his efforts would get him on the team. Then to see him getting beat so bad by Silver. It shattered my heart. I would have this in the top ten.
For a show that I was under the impression would be a light hearted comedy/parody show, the fact that there’s enough examples to make a top 10 list of saddest moments says a lot about how great this how is.
Miguel, Johnny, and Hawk are the best Cobra Kai characters and a main reason behind that is because you seem them hurt. You see them lose over and over agin. Unlike Daniel whose life is basically perfect
Another scene when Sam broke up with Miguel, he left crying and dropped the necklace he bought for her. Another emotional moment is when Daniel's wife took him to his dojo and at the end everybody show up to help him open Miyagi Dojo. So many emotional parts including the ones you listed too. I always was a fan of Karate Kid (Ralph Macchio was my childhood crush), after 35 years ago, I still watch it whenever they show it on tv. Visiting miyagis grave and then see a flashback of him and daniel literally teared me up. Every time i rewatch it. I guess miyagis moments are not in this list because it only affects the people who have affinity with the old movies
Thank you for saying Miguel falling was an accident. But He needed to face consequences for that (Robby). Also to people who say Robby should have accepted Miguel’s apology, just remember that Miguel started insults and fights with him also kissing his girlfriend when he was clearly sober just helped push things to its boiling point.
@@aniocitex1131 I didn't say they're not both in fault, just that it doesn't ckear sam and she instigated the kiss, Miguel said right after that it's wrong he's with Tory and she's with Robby, Sam said nothing, didn't even seem to regret it the next day
Miguel crying after discovering who his biological father really was deserves a high spot in here. I couldn't stop crying for several minutes-it was the fact that he felt so alone in that moment and the young child in him was finally coming out and wanting to see his mother and the people he loved again. it was heartbreaking and the hug with johnny just made it immensely more of a tearjerker. also, the fact that robby was there looking at their hug not with jealousy, but with sympathy, makes this scene give amazing closure.
Carmen shouldn't have thrown Johnny out after Miguel's attack, she should've gone after those boys. If Hawk wasn't dehawked his redemption would've taken longer. Losing his hair with Demetri's pep talk made him realize that he had his power the whole time and was hiding behind his mohawk. Now its upfront.
The scenes that made me cry the hardest were when Miguel fell off the balcony, when Johnny told Miguel “I love you too Robby” and when Robby and Johnny finally reconcile. I’m surprised Robby and Johnny’s scene didn’t make the list
"I'm sick of blaming you dad" scene with Robby and Johnny was the saddest moment. I sat on a regional train watching that scene, had to fight the tears back!
Honestly he’s had the short end of the stick the whole series. In Season 1 he dates a girl whose family he can’t meet. In Season 2 he learns the difference no mercy and no honor but pays for it. In Season 3 he’s totally nerfed because he needs to rehabilitate himself. And now In Season 4, when he needs a father the most, he feels that the one he gained sees him as a tool and a second place trophy (a tool to continue Johnny’s rivalry with Daniel and second place since Johnny is trying so hard to fix things with Robby). I really hope that Miguel gets to find some peace soon because he’s been getting the short end since Season 2’s finale if you really think about it.
That moment was very sad but my saddest moment was the end of season 4 when Robby and Johnny have that talk and Robby says “I’m sick of blaming you Dad” that got me emotional
I think that one that should be on the list, and it actually shocked me, was at the end of season 2 when Johnny abandoned his phone and car and the notification said Aly ( I think that’s her name)

Visiting miyagis grave and then see a flashback of him and daniel literally teared me up. Every time i rewatch it. I guess miyagis moments are not in this list because it only affects the people who have affinity with the old movies
You are the best I watched all the scenes
Cobra Kai does something the sequel trilogy era of Star Wars couldn't do; it makes you want more with everything new that comes out
What a blessed franchise is this?
Every aspect it has are totally perfect!
He wasnt sober just less drunk, dont put all the blame on miguel, sam instigated the kiss
@@CalistFitness but he didn’t back out of it or say no.
@@aniocitex1131 I didn't say they're not both in fault, just that it doesn't ckear sam and she instigated the kiss, Miguel said right after that it's wrong he's with Tory and she's with Robby, Sam said nothing, didn't even seem to regret it the next day
I know right.
Season 4 was a frustrating season but I like that, I like that!!!
Cobra Kai is the show that changes your emotions in the blink of an eye
Great video and great series, rip tommy
Thanks 👍
It crushed my heart when Miguel thought johnny was referring to him when he said I love you 😭
Hearing Dimitri ask hawk if you would actually hurt him was shocking because in the end Eli AKA hawk really did hurt his best friend
@@juanitamorgan5475 the sadest cobra kai scene was wen hawk was crying to his mom for being bullied
7:46 this is the moment that truly touched me...😢
Tommy’s episode really had me shocked, especially with Kreese making his speech in the background
I love Jonnny he is such a funny and kind husband, father, sensi etc. he’s my favorite character
How about Stingray being beaten to a pulp by Silver. The poor dude just wanted to join Cobra Kai😥
Johnny tearfully saying "This was a mistake" after Kreese took over Cobra Kai hit me like a ton of bricks
"YOU DON'T TEACH DESTRUCTION AND DISRESPECT!!"
The Emotion is top tier!
Lawrence calling miguel “Robby” had to be one of the saddest scenes in this series. Me and my girlfriend gasped when he said that.
Congratulations I am Mano btw keep going!
I would also include miyagi’s letter to Yukie
Great vid
You forgot to put when Daniel reads the letter from his Sensi when he went to Japan
Your number 4 shoulde be number 1...that was a bomb straight to the heart
Season 2 of Cobra Kai will always be the darkest season in the entire series so far, since season 2 was featured the most on this list
When Jhonny said love you Robby that hurts 😭😭😭 infront of Miguel that hurts 😭
Carmen shouldn't have thrown Johnny out after Miguel's attack, she should've gone after those boys. If Hawk wasn't dehawked his redemption would've taken longer. Losing his hair with Demetri's pep talk made him realize that he had his power the whole time and was hiding behind his mohawk. Now its upfront.
Nice vid
Has anyone else realized that we haven't seen Eli's mom since season 2?
Idk, I just think that's weird
I corrected myself
Somebody’s got their facts wrong.
@@Omega_X_Factor did she appear in later seasons, cause I don't remember
She only comes out in Season 2 during a flashback hahaha
@@edgarmorales8944 that's right, I was remembering wrong because it was Eli before the hawk, that's my B
@@edgarmorales8944 but isn't it weird that she only appears once tho
Number 2 still gives me chills🥺
The scenes that made me cry the hardest were when Miguel fell off the balcony, when Johnny told Miguel “I love you too Robby” and when Robby and Johnny finally reconcile. I’m surprised Robby and Johnny’s scene didn’t make the list
Tommy's death was very sad.
Cobra Kai never dies
"I'm sick of blaming you dad" scene with Robby and Johnny was the saddest moment. I sat on a regional train watching that scene, had to fight the tears back!
I can see a funny caption on Jonny when he was crying in the thumbnail🤣🤣 But I legit almost cried on that part.
Tommy's death was upsetting to watch. What's even worse, the actor died aswell. R.I.P Rob Garrison.
Johnny: I love you too Robby
Miguel: 😭💔
I can’t go a day without crying over this
Majority of sad moments are from Miguel
@@trevinodude You're right. It's sad
That moment was very sad but my saddest moment was the end of season 4 when Robby and Johnny have that talk and Robby says “I’m sick of blaming you Dad” that got me emotional
The Johnny drunk/I love you too Robby scene is personally the saddest for me.
I saw the thumbnail & you’re right.
"Top 20 Greatest Boxers of All Time"
In this show I laughed, felt bad, and loved it
When Johnny drunkenly confessed, "I love you too, Robby" I went "YES! WAIT?! WHAT?! DID HE SAY 'ROBBY'?!? NOOOO!"
I think that one that should be on the list, and it actually shocked me, was at the end of season 2 when Johnny abandoned his phone and car and the notification said Aly ( I think that’s her name)
